Indianapolis—A Tennessee man wanted in the fatal shooting of rapper Young Dolph in his hometown of Memphis was captured Tuesday in Indiana, while another man was indicted on murder charges, authorities said. A grand jury indicted Cornelius Smith, 32, on first-degree murder and other charges in the shooting that killed Young Dolph, the Shelby County, Tennessee, District Attorney’s Office said. Smith, who was arrested last month on an auto-theft warrant involving the vehicle used in Young Dolph’s killing, was being held without bond.(Snip)The shooting stunned Memphis and shocked the entertainment world. City officials and community activists pointed to the killing as a symbol of the dangers

Comments:

They say The Community cowers in fear at the prospect of being gunned down by imaginary White supremacists, blaming both guns and White people generally. And yet 99% of the time they're killed by fellow Africans, almost always over what the rest of us culturally insensitive types would deem to be the most trivial reasons. We maintain this farce and wear the hair shirt, but for how much longer?

Just curious to know why people are “shocked” that rappers get shot. I’d be shocked if they didn’t. In fact I heard rappers often diss one another by saying “You ain’t s*** ‘til you got shot.”

The Food and Drug Administration said it will stop regulating French dressing after keeping a tight rein on its key ingredients since 1950. The US agency announced on Wednesday that it would lift guidelines that required manufacturers to sell a product with 35% vegetable oil if it wanted to market it as “French dressing.”(Snip) By removing the standard, the FDA hopes to “provide greater flexibility in the product’s manufacture, consistent with comparable, nonstandardized foods available in the marketplace.” The move was made in response to a 1998 petition that was filed by the Association of Dressings and Sauces.
