Even with bad approval ratings, the nation’s top four Democratic leaders are more popular than Republican Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell. According to an aggregate of polls maintained by RealClearPolitics, just 24 percent of Americans view McConnell favorably, compared to 59 percent who say otherwise for a net negative of 35 percent. McConnell’s Democratic counterpart in the upper chamber, Sen. Chuck Schumer, enjoys a 32 percent favorability rating, while Nancy Pelosi’s stands at 34 percent, Vice President Kamala Harris at 40 percent, and President Joe Biden at 43 percent.

You gotta hand it to Mitch. Most unpopular politician? Well, let's see. Besides Uncle Joe and Horizontal Harris, we have Nancy, Chuckie, the Squad girls, Swalwell, Schiff, Auntie Maxine, Kaiser Wilhelm of New York, the Cuomos, Mayor Lightweight, Gov. Newsom, heck, I even forgot Queen Shelia Jackson Lee. Toss in Liz Cheney, and that's one tough crowd to compete against. Beating them is an accomplisment.

Sorry # 1. I’m not buying what your selling. McConnel. Graham. Romney. Cheney. Murkowski. I can go on and on and on and on and on and on and on. There is NO difference in R and D when it comes to “ We the People”. The Uniparty has nothing but contempt for us.

It seems to me that Mitch should have permanently earned our admiration and thanks for shepherding Trump's many, many, judicial nominees through Senate approval. Why we childishly insist that every Republican must agree on everything and do so loudly is dumb ass citizenship.

McConnell has been the same way for many years so if it's anybody's fault, it's the citizens of Kentucky. They obviously like what he's doing and aren't concerned about his relationship with China.

I respectfully disagree, #1. We tolerate betrayal all over the place. McCain was rewarded with reelection as long as he wanted and he was publicly contemptuous of conservatives. Lindsey Graham, John’s mini-me was just reelected. The list of RINO Senators is fairly long. When I see Republican conservative Senators stand up and announce they will not support corrupt CHINA Mitch for SML next time, I will be hopeful.

CNN’s firing of anchor Chris Cuomo leaves a major void in its crucial 9 p.m. hour, at a time when the network is already struggling to reverse a decline in ratings. Network President Jeff Zucker fired Mr. Cuomo on Dec. 4 after a legal review found that he had violated company standards by helping his brother, then-New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, respond to allegations of sexual misconduct. Chris Cuomo’s show, "Cuomo Prime Time," was CNN’s highest-rated program and a linchpin of its prime-time programming. Don Lemon is viewed internally as one contender to fill Mr. Cuomo’s time-slot, according to people familiar with the matter.

Democrat President Joe Biden is reportedly holding off on delivering military assistance to Ukraine as Russia prepares for what many experts believe is a likely invasion that could happen at any moment. “The Biden administration prepared a $200 million package of additional military assistance for Ukraine in recent weeks but held off on delivering the aid despite appeals from Kyiv and some lawmakers,” NBC News reported. “The administration’s delay of the smaller shipment of weapons and military equipment was designed to give more time for diplomatic efforts to defuse tensions and to retain leverage in the case of a Russian attack on Ukraine.”

President Biden has signed a series of executive orders to make the federal government carbon neutral. The Democrat president on Wednesday ordered federal agencies to purchase electric vehicles, harness wind, solar, and nuclear energy to power facilities, and to use sustainable building materials. The goal is for the federal government to stop adding carbon dioxide to the atmosphere by 2050. In the next decade, Biden wants the government to cease purchasing electricity produced from sources that emit carbon dioxide. By 2035, the administration wants all new federal cars and truck purchases to be zero-emissions. Right now, only about 1.5% of the government fleet is electric vehicles.
