The US inflation rate has hit its highest level in nearly 40 years, adding woes for consumers and compounding the issue as a political liability for President Joe Biden. The consumer price index rose 0.8 percent last month after surging 0.9 percent in October, the Labor Department said on Friday. It pushed annual inflation to 6.8 percent in November, the highest increase since June 1982 and well above October's 6.2 percent annual rate. A labor shortage is boosting wages, sending costs higher for businesses, and chaos in the supply chain is showing little sign of easing, indicating that high inflation could persist well into 2022.

As Scranton Joe promised upon election " America is back (to surpass Carter's inflation)"

Anybody remember a media guy named Armstrong Williams? Seems to me the last time a WH tried to get more favorable coverage from the media, they went into a meltdown. Rightfully so. But this little secret meeting smacks highly of hypocrisy, for where is their righteous indignation about it?

I was a young upstart during the Carter era and remember what it was like building my first new home searching for the lowest fixed interest rate, shopping for gas when stations ran out but I did enjoy 12% or more in the money market. Biden is worse but still hasn't topped Carter yet but I trust he will. We have a cold winter to contend with right now being retired our biggest problem are grocery prices and utilities. MAGA

It is going to get worse. Biden and his communist lawyer directors think the way to wealth is shorter work weeks, staying home, mandating the firing of 25% of the workforce because they won't get the shot, increasing minimum wages so people fry their hamburgers at home, and raising prices so people decide it ain't worth the price and buy nothing. Bidenomics is the same as Erdogan econmics and the appointees at the Treasury Dept and the Federal Reserve are similar toadies that follow the politics, instead of the economics.

Labor shortage? I thought we were at 96% full employment. I'm confused.

For all of his "craziness" - not unlike Nikita Khrushchev's UN antics in 1959 - James Carville was right:
"It's the ECONOMY, stupid!"

Those TRILLIONS handed out and passed around as stimulus and other "do-good" distributions had nothing to do with this. Had PDT been re-elected... And how's that "Project Warp Speed" vaccine doing these days? Got yours? The problem is government...it always is, regardless of who "runs" the thing.

For those too young: both Krushchev and Carville were/are "crazy like a fox". No dummies either.

The media is supposed to print FACTS, not propaganda, unless they are presenting an opinion piece. The journalists at the WH should have told Brandon to go fly a kite.;of course we already see some, like Cramer, the entertainer, doing Bribem's bidding.

The Biden crime syndicate learned very well from Carter's (and Ford's for that matter) inflation problems. What did Jimmy do that Biden is not doing: Jimmy got on the TV and admitted there was an inflation problem, and went about scolding the American people in his "Crisis of Confidence" talk.
Biden is taking a hard line and not even admitting that it is a problem. He is using doublespeak to say it is a recovering economy so shut up and enjoy the prosperity. Unfortunately for us, he has a compliant press that does not question the new vocabulary. Carter, in part, was held accountable.

Biden: You guys are killing me. Why can't you be more positive?
MSM: The country is falling apart, Mr. President.
Biden: What's that got to do with anything? Just write what Jen tells you. Or you will be on the wrong side of an exectutive order.
MSM: Yes, Mr. President.

Hey FJB here's your easy solution.
Tell those dam fracking frackers to start fracling.. Open up some pipelines.
Energy costs go down and we have to export oil and gas.
Energy costs go down and transportation costs for everything goes down.
When transportations cost go down the costs of everything we buy goes down.
Prices go down. Solved

FJB begs the presstitues to produce more fake news to make Bidenflation look like the second coming. Then he turns around and leaves the room, failing to answer any questions from the screaming lemmings. You just can't make this stuff up!

FJB may publicly fret about inflation and ask the media for friendlier coverage, but his handlers in the Democrat Communist Party are ecstatic about the damage wrecked so far on the United States. It will only get worse...by design.
