NYC’s ‘non-citizen’ voting rights law

They claim that it will only be legal green card holders. But since we can’t ask for ID who knows who is legal?

I can see it now. Come the next election to elect federal as well as state and local candidates, there will be this big screw-up where non-citizens will be given the same ballots as citizens. "Oops!" is not a valid excuse for corrupting elections. Any state that allows non-citizens to vote should not have their votes certified,

It doesn't take an expert, just somebody who knows the difference between right and wrong, which eliminates most democrats. New York is already FUBAR, why make it worse?

"That which is not included is excluded." This rule of construction means that "citizens" excludes "non-citizens." Democrats don't care about rules except when the rules coincide with their agendas.

This oddly makes sense. If you are here legally and paying taxes why should you not vote locally ? Because you are here at the invitation of citizens so you should accept the result of THEIR election.

It shouldn't be legal, but I don't know the details of the laws of NY state. I hope it is illegal. Of course, huge numbers have been illegally voting for many, many years, and will continue to illegally vote, and be permitted by the Dems running the polls to vote illegally without the slightest effort to stop them. In fact, they have specifically facilitated illegal voting with several laws prior to this, just not this explicitly.

New York claims the right to totally "eff" themselves to the max. However, I doubt their voter registration card discriminates between local and state, much less federal, elections.

That doesn't matter. The whole scam is that they string along a particular group, promise they'll try to do something, and then that group feels obligated to the democrats. And, if they actually get an amnesty passed, they've hit the home run, as they'd have delivered which really enhances the obligation to vote democrat for life. It's why they don't fix the immigration problem, it doesn't give them the "win" and that sense of obligation to the party.

If someone files a civil lawsuit in NY against this “non-citizen” voting law and the Judge who hears the case is some variety of Democrat, he or she with either throw the lawsuit out of court or will decide in favor of the Democrat “non-citizen” voting law. That’s the way the legal ball bounces when a politically charged case hits the courts these days.

So-called “Dreamers” are not legal residents of the USA in accordance with the US Immigration laws passed by the US Congress. The US Constitution grants only the Congress the authority to pass the Immigration and Nationality laws. The “Dreamers” are illegal aliens who are being allowed to stay in the USA based upon an administrative memorandum prepared by a politically appointed bureaucrat during the Barack Obama Administration era. The leftist and socialist Democrats intend to transform all the “Dreamers” into future leftist and socialist Democrat voters eligible to vote in all US elections. Remember the hundreds of thousands of accompanied and unaccompanied foreign children that the Biden crew is now facilitating to unlawfully enter the USA by illegally crossing the borderline will no doubt be made future “Dreamers” by the Biden crew in a new administrative “Dreamer” policy that Biden intends to enact. Also there are huge numbers of illegal aliens across the USA who have been granted “employment authorization” in the USA for one reason or another including because they have asylum applications pending before the immigration courts that take many years to resolve, with 90% of them or more being finally denied by immigration judges as not meeting the lawful requirements for a grant of asylum, all those denied cases that will then be subject to appeal which will take additional years, with a slight few of those cases even reaching the US Supreme Court. That dysfunctional asylum system is well known among communities of intending illegal aliens and human traffickers in foreign countries and is a major reason that serves to encourage and invite more mass uncontrolled illegal immigration into the USA. So that NYC “non-citizen” voting act will allow huge numbers of actual illegal aliens to vote in city elections. With the Democrats running NYC it is not likely that there will be two sets of registered voters, one for non-citizens and another for US citizen voters, so chances are everyone voting will receive the same ballot to vote in both City, State, and federal elections.
