The mass email hit some flight attendants' inboxes mid-flight. "Today it's with great regret that I let you know about our decision to close the SFO flight attendant base," American Airlines executive Brady Byrnes said in the September memo obtained by Insider.
In closing its San Francisco base, citing economic factors and shifting customer demand, American presented 400 flight attendants with a choice that many said felt impossible to make: leave the airline or leave the state. The base is home to some of the carrier's most senior flight attendants, two-thirds of whom have been at the airline for 13

Who visits the White House with the first thought about how to steal its property?
Seems celebrity-star Chrissy Teigen had that thought, and decided to share it with all her millions of adoring followers on Instagram.
It's buried within a gushy Parade magazine story about the dress Teigen wore to this week's White House state dinner for France's president, Emmanuel Macron:
Teigen shared some shots from the night on her Instagram, writing: "The State Dinner! Being in the White House will never not be extremely exciting. Secret Service! Tiny things you want to steal but don’t because you want to be invited back! Sitting next to the secretary of defense Lloyd Austin

Netflix’s teaser trailer for its upcoming docuseries about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry is getting trashed on YouTube, garnering more than 100,000 “thumbs down” reactions compared to just 15,000 “thumbs up” just one day after being uploaded. Commenters are also mercilessly roasting the trailer, with one user saying it “makes me respect Kate and William so much.”
The streamer dropped the trailer for Harry & Meghan on Thursday but has yet to announce a release date for the long-in-the-works series. The teaser, which has already been viewed 2.5 million times on YouTube, begins with a series of black-and-white still shots of the Sussexes set to dramatic music

We’ve seen some bombshell revelations in the Elon Musk Twitter drop about the suppression files including those surrounding the Hunter Biden laptop story. There are freakouts underway on the left and we see a fascinating take by Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) who expressed concerns about the First Amendment. Twitter should have paid attention to that because it looks like they went far over the edge with what they did. As the records showed, the Biden team was reaching out and getting people suspended from Twitter.
Among the revelations was an incredible record that indicated the DNC had asked Twitter to take down actor James Woods.

It may not have been the dumbest thing on the Internet last week, but it was the dumbest thing I read. Nick Fuentes visited Mar-a-Lago as a guest of Kanye West. The media describes Fuentes as a Holocaust Denier and White Supremacist. The two ate with Donald Trump, who was unaware of who this Fuentes dude is. I am clueless about Fuentes as well. But the media manufactured another scandal out of the incident. Conservative poseurs obediently are clutching their pearls over this like the little country club Republicans they are.
No president did more for Israel than Trump. No president had a daughter, son-in-law and three grandchildren who were Jewish.

Congressional lizards posing as "leaders" met with China Joe in the Roosevelt Room of the White House, and the wretched gerontocracy that rules over us looked happy as clams to be reunited after the political theater of the midterms. Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Kevin McCarthy, and Turtle McConnell all sported sly, devilish grins that suggested they got exactly what they wanted in last month's elections.
In undermining MAGA candidates, Turtle's iron-fisted control over his Republican minority remains absolute. Up-Chuck and Child-Sniffer Joe still hold the Senate

Did you have a nice Thanksgiving? Maybe now you’re hoping to celebrate Christmas and Dr. Fauci’s retirement, drink some egg nog at a party and not obsess over COVID during the holidays? Los Angeles County Public Health Director Barbara Ferrer has other ideas, and desperately wants to bring back mask mandates to the county’s ten million people due to a rise in cases.
Speaking at a press conference Thursday, she reminded us that the pandemic is definitely not over (even though President Joe Biden said months ago that it was): "There is this common line of thinking that the pandemic is over and COVID is no longer of concern, but

The Swiss government announced its plan to deal with expected energy shortfalls this winter, and it sounds like a lot of fun — provided you’re a shut-in who likes reading by candlelight under multiple blankets.
The alpine country — one of the wealthiest in the world — will severely restrict electric vehicles from its roads, according to a Daily Mail report. If the country runs out of power, EVs won’t be allowed out for anything but “essential” travel.
But the restrictions don’t end there.
The contingency plan calls for three levels of energy rationing.
Under the least extreme, most buildings would be limited to 20C (68F)

Doha, Qatar — The devastating blow that knocked the U.S. men's national team out of the 2022 World Cup was a 21-pass Dutch masterpiece. It was class and ruthlessness personified, clockwork orange from front to back to front. It crushed American optimism that had swelled throughout two weeks in Qatar, and eventually sent the American team trudging toward their traditional exit.
It led to Netherlands 3, U.S. 1 here at the Khalifa International Stadium on Saturday, and to a game during which the USMNT crashed head-first into its current ceiling.

Matt Taibbi, who has been tweeting out documents showing the Biden campaign’s connection to censorship on Twitter about censoring stories they didn’t like on Twitter (including the Hunter Biden laptop story) deleted a tweet that revealed a rather odd e-mail address that former CEO.
There was one major theme that jumped out to me in the Elon Musk / Matt Taibbi “Twitter Files” bombshell posts from tonight…
One thing most people are not talking about.
Two things actually.

Former President Trump called for the termination of the Constitution’s rules regarding elections to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election following the release of more detailed information about Twitter’s role in suppressing a story about Hunter Biden.
“A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution,” Trump said in a Truth Social post.
“Our great ‘Founders’ did not want, and would not condone, False & Fraudulent Elections!” he continued.
Trump’s post comes after the first of the “Twitter files” on “free speech suppression” were posted on Twitter on Friday. The posts focused
