With Democrats already facing the nightmare scenario of losing control of Congress in next year’s critical midterm elections, leftists could be in for a collective traumatic shock unseen since the iconoclastic billionaire outsider Donald J. Trump pulled off the upset of the century against the “undefeatable” Hillary Clinton in 2016.Traditionally, the party in control of the White House loses seats in the midterms but intensifying dissatisfaction with the miserable presidency of Joe Biden that has brought staggering inflation, unprecedented shortages and a flagrant disregard for the Constitution has some predicting much more severe losses for power-drunk Democrats who may be forced onto the wagon by angry voters.

Its an interesting intellectual exercise, and great to see the communists squirm, but I dont see Trumps personality allowing him to take a downgrade. He is an extreme type "A". He's not going to go from a Cadillac to a Chevy.

I would love to see this happen. But do not expect Peeeeeelosi to actually hand him the gavel. She will hide it; but its ok with me if he uses a sledgehammer as a gavel. And I do not expect Trump to remain Speaker for more than a year because he will need to get out of DC for rallies. But Trump can actually TRAIN the House GOP how to lead for a year then let the House vote in a new Speaker who will move along with the America First promises and agenda. I like the idea very much.

This would be the ultimate!! Donald Trump as Speaker of the House. Just to watch Nancy giving Trump the gavel is priceless. That would be the ultimate slap in Nancy's face.

The only way the Republicans make Trump Speaker of the House is if they intend to impeach Biden and Kamala

I don't trust Meadows. Trump is a great President who continually picks unworthy advisors. Just my opinion...

Donald J Trump, Speaker of the House, "Priceless". The Deep State would go berserk. The Alphabets would go berserk. Fun times in DC.

There is nothing in the Constitution that requires that the Speaker of the House be an elected member of Congress. The Majority Party can pick whoever it wants, so this is a totally plausible scenario. Plus it would be the height of irony if Trump took control of the very body that twice impeached him for purely partisan reasons. It would put him in a position to deal out some serious revenge,

We'd have to elect a lot of Republicans with some spine. That means getting rid of a lot of them who are up for reelection.

A more realistic outcome is that Pelosi will resign in 2022 because she knows what is coming and it will make her more irrelevant. Donald Trump still wants the presidency back that he won in 2020.

All I hope for is to see the back of Nancy Piglosi. However that happens will be a very joyous day.
I felt the same when Harry Reid finally left. He was horrible too.

Interesting. Meadows did not mention that if this scenario were to take place then Trump is second in line for the Presidency. Should the house impeach and the senate convict both Biden and Harris then Trump becomes president.
Not likely to happen. First of all the the rinos in the house would never vote for Trump as speaker because that job belongs to one of them (most likely McCarthy). This whole thing is just one really big pipe dream.

I agree with Meadows. Trump would be much more effective as speaker and have much more power. If he is elected president again, we will just have another 4 years of Democrats trying to destroy him and his policies. Imagine this: Donald Trump sitting behind Joe Biden at the State of the Union address. Now that’s must see TV

Trump as Speaker is a loser of an idea. He would be inundated with ethics complaints on Day One ad infinitum. His presiding would look like a scene from "Idiocracy". Great idea to rile the red meat consumers, and not one that attracts anyone else to the polls if one's goal is to elect "real" Republicans with any sort of "moderate" or independent support. I don't need Pelosi's head to explode...I just want her gone.

I don't care if the republicans in the Senate and House win every single seat in the 2022 elections, as long as the corrupt thieves and traitors like the republican leaders in the House and Senate, McCarthy and McConnell, nothing will change and the communist death democrats will still be giving the orders to McConnell, Rick Scott, and McCarthy who will obey and carry on with the plan to destroy our Republic and our liberties. Unless the republican party is purged of these kind of republican scum and real patriotic warriors are put in leadership of the House and Senate, nothing will change,
The republican party must purge itself of the cancer of Rhinos including getting rid of that POS Rona McDaniel who is mysteriously still at the Head of the Republican Party. They all must be ruthlessly gotten rid of for the sake of our survival.

Bannon lives inside Communist’s noggins.
What will be necessary is to get Kevin McCarthy, he who delivered the Unifrastructure win to Bidet, out of leadership. McCarthy is another Paul Ryan. Jim Jordan and Devin Nuñez sound much better. Steve Scalise was silent on the recent Republican defeats so must go too. No mercy.

We won't last as a country anywhere resembling what we were Jan 2021 by Nov 2024.
