Republicans currently have the largest lead in the generic congressional ballot they have had since 1981, according to an ABC News/Washington Post poll released Sunday.
“As things stand, if the midterm elections were today, 51 percent of registered voters say they’d support the Republican candidate in their congressional district, 41 percent the Democrat,” reads a press release from Langer Research, which conducted the poll for ABC News/Washington Post. “That’s the biggest lead for the Republicans in 110 ABC/Post polls to ask this question since November 1981.

Given who conducted the poll, I would guess that the lead is a lot bigger. Just think how big it will be next year after 11 more months of rising prices, job layoffs due to vaccines, more lockdowns and more mandates. It will make a tsunami look like a splash in a puddle. It will be too big to steal.

The Pubbies and the GOPe are in a panic over this. Something MUST be done - - to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
Wait! I've got it! The Pubbies can all vote for the Green New Deal. That should give the demonrats the big boost they need!

If due to some rare brain disease, I could possibly believe anything said, heard or written by either ABC News or Washington Post, including if I should by some quirk of fate believe any poll anywhere, I would not in my wildest imagination think the GOP could hold on to a lead of any kind. I even believed that Bill and Hillary let Obama buy her off. When she really meant NO! my mom would still say ''We'll see!''

Yes OP. But they still have plenty of time to do more debilitating damage to the country, and to us.

Where are the Dominion machines?
Where are the pre-printed phony ballots?
This is not your everyday real election.

The Republicans don’t have to worry. Lots of us won’t vote for them either.

In the 1982 Congressional election, the democrats gained a net of one Senate seat and 26 House seats. I lot can change in a year.

GOP in the lead? LOL - watch 'em blow it. They have a unique talent for giving away any advantage with BOTH hands. Not only are they afraid to lead - they resent anyone (Trump) from the Right who CAN lead.

Do polls matter when the left will just steal elections? These polls just tell the left how much they will have to steal. The only reason Trump won in 2016 is because all the polls said he would lose--so the left didn't steal enough votes. They did not make that mistake again in 2020--and won't going forward, either.

Depends on who counts the votes, or even more, who confirms legal or illegal votes.

Dominion does not have a chance against raw stupidity. Americans are entering the beaten-dog stage and turning on the source of the problem.

While it is likely Republicans have gained based on the democrat's horrible performance, take this poll with a grain of salt. ABC/Wapo significantly increased the number of republicans vs democrats from previous polls.
As we move into 2022, expect them to again oversample democrats thus reducing the republican advantage. It will be part of their propaganda campaign to "prove" Americans are coming around to liking Biden and the democrat policies
The media lies. Wapo and the NY Times are the worst. Nets are close behind. Never forget it.

When I returned home from my state's polling center that night, almost all votes counted, and watched the states come in with huge changes I knew if we do not fix the election fraud corruption the dementia patient will still get a slim plurality. Judicial Watch offered the best assessment of 353 fascist Democrat controlled counties with vote tallies from 90+% to 157%. The average was...low 70% range. To everyone reading this, get involved in 2022 and beyond.

So what? What will the GOPe do with the majority in both the Senate and House? Let's look back to '17-'18 with Paul Ryan as Speaker...and?
Americans have screwed themselves to the floor with Republicans since the Bush41 "thousand points of light" years, those UNIPARTY stalwarts who more recently spent the years '17-'20 assisting their partners in their TDS. The change will be optics, and a little foot-dragging, with Mitch bargaining for "the best we could do" compromises in the Senate. The sad thing is there is no effective alternative. So, take it slow with the Republicans, or in a torrent with the Democrats. Either way...we're getting it.

#7 not unless they are pro Trump. Jack C
lost NJ because he really isn't pro Trump. The Trump Republicans didn't come out to vote. If they had, he would have won.

DNC has Dominion on speed dial. Fauci is planning another Covid surge which will require mail in ballots, which are being readied as we speak. Pelosi is saying “don’t worry, we got this.”

The next election is critical to saving this great republic--and it is NOT the general election but is the primary election.
Please check to see if your congresscritter or senator voted for the recent socialist "infrastructure" bill. A surprisingly number of them did. Check to see if they vote for the next big socialist "Build Back America" bill. If they supported either of these bills, make every effort to end their political careers in the Republican Primary Election.
The republicans have to oust the turncoats among themselves as a major item to address.

What's fascinating is that Biden and the Dems have only begun to implode. Their spiral downwards still has a long way to go. Afghanistan, inflation, supply chain crisis. They're all going to get a lot worse.
