Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers was slow to call out the National Guard in the summer of 2020, when Kenosha was burning and President Donald Trump was offering to help, but he’s called them out now in advance of the verdict in the Kyle Rittenhouse case.
Rittenhouse was among several men and women who answered the call to secure a business called Car Source on the third night of riots that largely destroyed two other company locations. Police kettled the rioters, who were marauding in the streets, setting fires, beating people, and attacking a kid who came to help—17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse.

Good news. If the guard shoots the rioters, the good Americans like Kyle wont have to.

with the appalling case the persecution (sic) put on if they find 12 people agreeing to a guilty verdict we as a country are doomed.

The Guard will be worthless if the order is just to stand by.

They can be there but if they do anything to the rioters THEY will be arrested, not the rioters.

In this climate, I am not sure that he will be found not guilty. Juries are very unpredictable and with the intimidation that has already occurred, who knows what they will do. When people are on social media already making threatening statements many people will not have the courage to stand up for what is right. This poor kid has been through hell and it’s not over yet. Regardless of the verdict, his life is forever changed and not for the better. The lawless mob that has been given free reign in this country by the left is dangerous and everyone knows it. Democrats birthed this movement, enable and support it, and will defend it while innocent Americans suffer. A political party that would support such lawless violence is a cancer that will eventually kill the host if it is not eradicated. These violent savages are itching to cause mayhem again and they will.

On the other hand if Rittenhouse is found guilty it's going to be party in the streets time so lets burn and loot like Black Friday came early. Different verdict same results you can't please these low life, street roving savages. Kyle Rittenhouse stepped into a jungle with all violent actors that night he's lucky to still be alive. FJB

Regardless of external threats, I would expect some of the jurors have children of their own and will consider that before being intimidated to vote guilty for a crime that didn't exist. They will not succumb to mob rule or the court of public opinion. I grew up south of Kenosha and the folks there (largely of Polish immigrants) don't like to be jerked around with political garbage. Kyle will be acquitted. Then the long journey to rebuild his life will begin.

FTA Many on the Left have called Rittenhouse a vigilante, but what do you call threatening a town and its people if the justice that is served doesn’t meet with the mob’s approval?
Indeed.

I wonder what the orders would be if there is a guilty verdict and white people were to riot, loot and burn. Shoot on sight?

What's the big deal? If there are riots, we know they'll be "fiery, but mostly peaceful." Chill out Gov. Evers.

Only difference now is the Democrats' plan does is not fomenting unrest to make Trump look bad but to cover for FJB.

Why? Just defund the police and send in some social workers.

I'm sure the wokies at blm and antifa have the names and addresses of all the jurors and will make life a living hell if they find Rittenhouse innocent...that's how the wokies work...I think a dismissal with prejudice from the judge will solve the problem....

Can't help but giggle when I see 'riots ' and 'Wisconsin' in the same sentence.
Are they going to be looting snow shovels ... no officer, we just lit that fire because it's COLD out here.

There were no Blacks shot by Rittenhouse. Why does BLM want to riot? Or, will they marauding in the streets, setting fires, and beating people just for the fun of it?

#17, BLM is not motivated solely by racial issues. They're anarchists at heart.

Went to a teenager's birthday party today. Was stunned, pleasantly surprised and a bunch of other words to hear the teens discussing the Rittenhouse matter, in a rational manner. Power to their parents!
