The Last Issue of The Limbaugh Letter:
‘Forever Dittos, Rush!’

Original Article

It was, of course, only a matter of time. With his passing in February of this year, there would inevitably be a last issue of Rush Limbaugh’s monthly magazine – The Limbaugh Letter. That issue has just arrived in my mail box – not the electronic one but the snail mail one as the magazine was indeed quite physical. As a subscriber to Rush 24/7, I was a subscriber to The Limbaugh Letter. It would arrive in the mail every month like clockwork, with Rush’s latest musings for the magazine written in about 16 concise pages. That the magazine has been kept going

Noon to 3 p.m. will never be the same. Fortunately we have Steve Bannon's Warroom. Although much more serious, he inspires us to "Action, action, action." I think Rush would be proud!

#5, I am with you. I'll never stop missing him. He was our optimist and listening to him made me feel so much better. I am so happy for him that he's not here to see all of his predictions come to fruition. I think it's worse than he ever thought it would be. May Rush always rest in peace.

I was a long-time subscriber, but I can't feel bad about Rush, knowing where he is and that he is not enduring the hell on earth that is 2021 America. Were he here, he would no doubt be optimistic, as always. Publicly at least. We've lost the culture.

I was very surprised a few weeks later when I received the picture card of him receiving the presidential medal of freedom at the state of the union address. I have the picture in my office above my desk. The thing I miss the most is Rush's sense of humor. The new boys just don't have it.

Let me quote myself from a post published May 8 about the danger of people showing up at the justices’ homes: “[I]n the current political context, a fanatic has more motive to kill one of the Court’s conservatives than just satiating his or her rage. Doing so would provide a strategic benefit to the pro-choice side. Congress should give them all the bodyguards they need, and then some.” When you have reason to believe that five justices have signed onto overturning Roe but the decision hasn’t been handed down yet, that’s an incentive to take one of those votes away by any means necessary. Especially since a Democratic president

President Joe Biden popped into the press cabin during an Air Force One flight Wednesday afternoon, surprising reporters with an off-the-record appearance. But the president spent most of his time complaining about their negative coverage of his administration, according to Politico’s West Wing Playbook, citing “multiple people familiar” with the meeting. Biden spoke with reporters on his way to California for the Summit of the Americas, even as some of the leaders of prominent Latin American countries refused to attend. The establishment media has grown more skeptical of Biden’s efforts to help reduce inflation, lower gas prices, and solve the baby formula shortage that has plagued his administration.

Mr. Roske was dressed in black and carrying a suitcase and a backpack, according to a federal affidavit. Inside the suitcase and backpack, the authorities later discovered a “black tactical chest rig and tactical knife,”

The Department of Homeland Security’s ill-fated disinformation board would have been part of an effort to work with private social-media platforms to police their content, two senators revealed Wednesday, citing new documents provided to them by a whistleblower. The documents described the issues that led DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas to want to create the board. Among them were such heated topics as debates over the coronavirus pandemic and efficacy of vaccines, and what Homeland Security described as “conspiracy theories about the validity and security of elections.” The documents also suggested the board would play the role of policy cop at Homeland Security,

Whenever I look at a poll regarding Joe Biden, I keep saying he has to hit a bottom — that he can’t just keep going lower, can he? Of course, he keeps doing things to deserve going lower, so yes, the polls keep getting worse and worse for him. He’s already lower than all modern presidents who held the office. In the last poll, I covered the ABC/Ipsos poll, he was hitting now, in the high 20s, approval on inflation and gas prices, and over 70 percent disapproval. It’s hard to get much worse than that. That was similar to the poll covered on CNN a few days

Pessimism about the U.S. economy is at its highest level in 50 years amid decades-high inflation rates and rising interest rates. Roughly 83% of respondents said the state of the economy was poor or not so good, according to a new poll from the Wall Street Journal and NORC at the University of Chicago. That’s the highest dissatisfaction level since NORC—one of the largest independent research organizations in the U.S.—began conducting the poll in 1972. In addition, more than a third of respondents said they are not satisfied at all with their financial situation. Forty-six percent said they have no chance at improving their standard of living this year

It hasn’t been an easy week for the Washington Post, the disgraced paper was in the news for the wrong reason on three separate occasions. The implication was that her then-husband actor Johnny Depp was the perpetrator. Any responsible news organization would have confirmed with Depp about the allegations prior to publication. The WaPo did no such thing, they published Heard’s version.

Biden, who speaks in tongues, is plainly beyond redeeming; the question is whether he will manage to survive the year, let alone stumble, lollop, and whiffle to the end of his first term. Kamala Harris belongs in vaudeville or farce, given her talent for provoking laughter. Both will have to be retired in favor of an electable candidate. But who?
