Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) made the Democrats an offer they didn’t refuse in order to avoid the problem of the debt limit and throwing things into chaos. He agreed to the deal for a short-term extension. But the issue still has to be resolved by Dec. 3. Some Republicans were mad that he did that, believing that he gave the Democrats an out. But instead of thanking McConnell for at least being gracious under the circumstances, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer took a very ugly victory lap, blaming the Republicans for the problem that the Democrats had in fact created and continuing to bash them. “Republicans played

There are no words to describe the disgust I have for Schumer. Why doesn't he just move to a communist country and leave us alone. He and Piglosi should retire already. They are both older than dirt. and I think - losing it. Both are chock full of hatred for this country.

Today's democrats believe they can bully people into doing what they want. After all, Schumer essentially threatened the SCOTUS, and it may have worked. Their rabid base demands they threaten anyone who does not see things the way they do. Would be nice if Joe turned around and declared himself a Republican, which would change the Majority Leader and control of the Senate. That picture should be used in upcoming 2022 election campaigns to illustrate how moderate democrats are being ignored and abused by the progressives within their own party.

Oh he'll posture and pose as some kind of "moderate, conservative democrat" but that critter does not exist in the communist death democrat party anymore. Fake, Fake, fake. Look instead at his voting record. He is a dyed in the wool commie death democrat. In the end he votes the communist death democrat party line. There isn't a day that goes by that doesn't provide more proof that we need term limits for Congress swamp creatures!!!! 2 terms (1 in House and 1 in Senate, or 2 in either) and you are done. No retirement benefits. Nothing. Just go back to your hometown and get back to your civilian life!!! Congress should be a chance for citizens to serve their country for a very limited time -- not for a career where you make millions of dollars peeing all over the peasants on a daily basis!!!!

I doubt he'll switch parties, but just maybe he will go Independent and caucus with the Repubs, thereby removing that nasty piece of work Schumer from Majority Leader.

As for Republicans, I know some were upset with McConnell’s move to offer a short-term debt ceiling deal, but what that did is take the one piece of leverage Democrats had, i.e. playing chicken over a default, off the table. Now, with the reality in play that nothing is going to get done in 2022 because it’s an election year, the Democrats are left to civil war with each other. Any possible pressure on Manchin and Sinema to make a filibuster exception was relieved. Lastly, Biden, Schumer, and Pelosi are left at the tender mercies of an Arizona senator who is not into playing games. From: Red State Kyrsten Sinema Goes Full Savage on the White House. This is a chess game that you have to see by understanding each move everyone. So hold your fire & lets see Mitch play it out. Once this gets into 2022 enough of dem will start thinking about saving demselves😨😰😱

A U.S. court of appeals temporarily reinstated Texas's six-week abortion law, issuing an administrative stay of a preliminary injunction granted to the Biden administration earlier this week by a federal judge that blocked the controversial law's implementation. "It is ordered that Appellant’s emergency motion to stay the preliminary injunction pending appeal is temporarily held in abeyance pending further order by this motions panel," the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled on Friday. The U.S. court of appeals directed the Department of Justice to respond to the emergency motion by 5 p.m. next Tuesday.

Some days ago, Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, who is one of the moderates holding up Biden’s “build back better” agenda, was accosted and filmed in a public bathroom. The illegal immigrant activists blistered her for not supporting a pathway to citizenship via reconciliation, something the Senate parliamentarian has already said can’t be done anyway. But it was really the reaction to that scene that held the most impact. You expect far-left lunatics to be far-left lunatics. What Sinema probably didn’t expect was for Joe Biden to claim the attack was “part of the process,” while Bernie Sanders holds up a letter of condemnation.

President Biden did not mention a labor shortage in remarks following the release of a disappointing jobs report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics on Friday. Biden blamed lower-than-expected hiring levels on the spread of the Delta variant of coronavirus. The Bureau’s report found that the U.S. added just 194,000 jobs in September, compared with the 500,000 expected by economists. “Remember, today’s report is based on a survey that was taken during the week of September 13…when COVID cases were averaging more than 150,000 per day,” Biden said. “Since then, we’ve seen the daily cases fall by more than one-third, and they’re continuing to trend down.” Biden also repeatedly

There’s a four-word expression that seems to be used a lot when it comes to Joe Biden and, in particular, his actions when it comes to the economy — fails to meet expectations. How many times have we heard this when talking about the jobs report under Biden? Well, here we are again. It’s October and now the September numbers are in and they “fail to meet expectations.” When even CNN has to say how bad it is, you know it’s bad. Here they are saying it’s “way less than expected,” less than last month, and “the worst of the year.”

According to economists, we’re at the beginning of a “shortage economy” where shortages of goods like electronics and clothing will become commonplace. Yes, the pandemic is partly to blame. Factories shut down and are just now revving up to full capacity. The “supply chain bottleneck” has become a fact of life. More than that, there’s almost $10 trillion worth of government stimulus in the West that’s burning holes in people’s pockets. But there are several other factors affecting the supply of many goods. The Economist: Yet the shortage economy is also the product of two deeper forces. First, decarbonisation. The switch from coal to renewable energy has left Europe

Be careful what you wish for. Back in January it seemed like Democrats’ victories in the Georgia senate runoffs were the cherry on top of then President-elect Joe Biden’s electoral ice cream sundae. Suddenly what had looked in November like a narrow Biden victory and congress split between parties was total Democrat power. Sort of. Once it was realized that Democrats would control a 50/50 senate by dint of Vice President Kamala Harris’ tie breaking vote another thing became instantly clear. That Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., had suddenly become the most important man in Washington. Later we learned that if Manchin was now king,

And Joe Biden says the fight against covid will be won when 97% or 98% of our population has been vaccinated, an impossible figure. Democrats are political animals. They don’t give a darn who they run over in their quest for power, even if that includes one of their own. You would have thought that Democrats would have come out strongly in condemning Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) being harassed. While Joe Biden superficially said he didn’t think the tactics were appropriate, he normalized it saying it was “part of the process” and “happens to everybody.” Of course, the activists were acting on behalf of his bill, as well. Democrats were very quiet when it came to any criticism of Sinema’s harassment.
