Cases of influenza and other respiratory viruses plummeted during the COVID-19 pandemic, a new study suggests. Researchers from Akron Children's Hospital, in Ohio, looked at data from children treated during the 2018-19, 2019-20 and the 2020-21 flu seasons. They found that flu infections among kids were reduced by 99 percent and there were no cases of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) detected in northern Ohio.(Snip)Prior to the pandemic, the average incidence of RSV was 8.8 percent for the 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons. But for the 2020-21 season, no cases of RSV were detected. Additionally, prior to the pandemic the average incidence

#4 - I used to trust my doctor, but now he's just the conduit for my necessary maintenance medications. Several years ago I quit going to any screening blood tests or x-rays. I went in for a regular mammogram and the intake desk had added another test. I told them my doctor didn't order it, and was told it was recommended and, "besides your insurance covers it." I knew then with good insurance you're just a cash cow. I refused the second test. Then I realized my doc never followed up, relying on me to mention I had the test done. So now I let him write out his test request and when the hospital calls to make the appointment, I tell them I changed my mind. On the yearly blood test he seems to get the "latest" result automatically on his computer. For the last three years he has discussed the same results because he never looks at the date of the test. He's a pretty good doctor and has helped me through some tough illnesses. I like him personally; he's the son of our original doctor when we moved here. But, he's bought all the Covid stuff hook-line-and-sinker. We're just going to do the video appointments to refill our drugs. I'm not masking up for an in-person when no medical care is given by vaccinated staff that are probably super spreaders. I'm staying as far away from doctors and hospitals as possible. I only go to town once a week and that may go by the wayside. Its just not any fun any more. F Joe Biden!

One of the reasons i thinked armed vonflict in this country is inevitable, has to do with the lying, backfilling and lawfare the livs will do to keep the ground they've gained. All of their gains have been immoral, unethical, and/or illegal, but they have also gamed the system so that criminals have more protection than citizens who harm no one. It is an imbalance that WILL eventually be addressed with violence, since no other option is provided.

Social distancing is largely a joke when one talks of respiratory infections - unless one sets the necessary distance as being in the next building. Similarly, Wearing masks is useless when the average Joe doesn't know how to properly wear one and most masks are the screen-fence equivalent of mosquito control. Simply staying away from school or work IS effective. And washing one's hands has been proven effective for preventing flu in school children. But the real reason we had virtually no influenza last winter is that the covid test could not distinguish between covid and flu and every positive result was called covid for political reason and pharm fraud. THAT inaccurate test was just recently and fairly recently taken off the market.....Hmmm?

So what happens if you don’t treat the flu? People die. How many of those people with the flu could’ve been saved if they had correctly been diagnosed with the flu and treated, instead of letting it go untreated until it was too late?

My thoughts are that there were plenty of flu and RSV cases last year.. These cases just aren't reported since people did not go to the doctor or hospital due to Covid-19 hassles/restrictions. People self treated at home. It seems that any respiratory illness or flu was automatically called covid or you were treated like a criminal at the hospital for seeking treatment.

One great big DUH-oh for this information. Just figure in the fact that those who were actually sick and being physically restrained into covering coughs and sneezes, stores wiping down carts and surfaces after each customer. The messages some have followed for years from doctors to patients superceeded magically by masks? How’s about washing your hands after using the restroom? There is still a large contingent that bypass that step in this day and age. Should we install bathroom attendants?

i have trusted very little since this all began, especially when everyone was locked up and businesses closed while the elites like Pelosi and Newsom did whatever they wanted to do. The lockdown should never have happened. If I had happened to die when I had Covid, I would never have expected the country to shut down due to my death. People die all the time. That is a part of our life cycle. This “caring” about people was dying and ramping up a rougher form of flu was used to defeat President Trump. Follow the money. If you diagnose Covid, you get Fed money. If you diagnose yearly flu, no money. If you diagnose any other major illness or disease, no Fed money. Again, follow the money. Humans have a sin nature. Dangle enough money in front of them/people, and they will change their politics, their opinions, their views, their medical oaths and the 2020 Presidential election. Facebook's money of One-Half (500 MILLION) a trillion $$$ should prove that, that elections can be bought! We have a President who has been bought, FJB. How many in the House and Senate have been bought? You know why we love President Trump so much? He can't be bought. He's been tested already in New York. He's not afraid to speak out on what he believes. And he loves this Country. We are so sick in this Country of politicians lying to us. What makes us so crazy is being deceived by smooth talking, forked tongued (silver haired) politicians. Man they make us vomit! So our job is to identify these phonies and never ever vote for them again. They are grifters!

The experts are hilarious, and remarkably stupid. So the face masks are to credit with wiping out the regular flu? But NOT Covid! Then why wear masks? However bad the regular ol' flu was, I never wore a mask in flu season. And the contrast with the the other types of flu shows they simply DON'T WORK against Covid. So why wear them? But of course we know it's all bs. Every type of death, probably including that of Covid-infected George Floyd, is being listed as Covid. Including the conventional flu. It's the new Afghanistan. The Forever Plague.

The Pentagon’s former software chief said he quit because China has already won the tech war guaranteeing global dominance—with some US government systems mere “kindergarten level” in comparison. Nicolas Chaillan, 37, told the Financial Times on Sunday that there is “good reason to be angry” at the US failing to rise to China’s cyber threat, even fearing that it puts his children’s future at risk. “We have no competing fighting chance against China in 15 to 20 years. The U.S. has agreed to provide humanitarian aid to a desperately poor Afghanistan on the brink of an economic disaster, while refusing to give political recognition to the country's new Taliban rulers, the Taliban said Sunday. The statement came at the end of the first direct talks between the former foes since the chaotic withdrawal of U.S. troops at the end of August. There was no immediate comment from the U.S. on the weekend meeting. The Taliban said the talks held in Doha, Qatar, 'went well,' with Washington freeing up humanitarian aid to Afghanistan after agreeing not to link such assistance to formal recognition of the Taliban.

In fact, it might be the most cringeworthy thing she’s ever done (and that’s saying a lot).Harris is famously disingenuous , and this video does nothing to help that reputation. In the clip below, you see Kamala awkwardly using some sort of “Narrators voice” as she’s talking to the kids about space exploration.“I just love the idea of exploring the unknown,” Harris says in an awkward tone of voice. “And then, there’s other things that we just haven’t figured out or discovered yet.

The U.S. has agreed to provide humanitarian aid to a desperately poor Afghanistan on the brink of an economic disaster, while refusing to give political recognition to the country's new Taliban rulers, the Taliban said Sunday.
