Some sixty people are still behind bars eight months after the January 6 disturbance at the U.S. Capitol. A Daily Wire review of court records shows unusually aggressive prosecutorial maneuvers, which sometimes brought rebukes by judges. For example, Jose Padilla has been detained since February. “Padilla is 40 years old and has lived in Tennessee for most of his life. He previously served in the U.S. Army during the Iraq War. After he returned home, he was diagnosed with posttraumatic stress disorder (‘PTSD’) and began receiving disability benefits. Prior to his arrest, he was a stay-at-home dad

Why are Republicans doing NOTHING about this? Where is Trey Gowdy? Where is Rand Paul? Mitch McConnell? (I know, stupid question.)

The Witch presiding as POTUS where Ashley et alli became, and others are becoming, martyrs proclaimed “her” building as “holy”.
This heretical ejaculation out of the mouth of this heretic underscores the absolute fact that the halls of state are profane, lost to the minions of hell.

In reply to #1, the republicans are cuckholded as the husbands of the adulterous democrats. They stand idly by while the democrats hold political prisoners and mistreat patriots. Why? Because republicans in DC know a good thing when they've got one. Sit solidly in 2nd place and never have to be held accountable for anything while reaping the rewards of being a leg up on the average population. Country club politicians more interested in remaining where they are than doing what they were sent to DC to do. I'm not sure who is more despicable; the democrats destroying our constitution or the republicans unwilling to fight them every step of the way.

This miscarriage of justice, this abuse of power... this should enrage every real American. Even the devil himself gets the benefit of the law in this country and for our own safety's sake. This road they are leading us down is one that end badly, ends with death. Those of us who know history, human nature, and the law know why.
Should justice ever prevail in this nation again, making political prisoners out of these people should result in trials and prosecutions of many federal employees and some politicians!

Where are FoxNews and others on this? This travesty should be reported and discussed every day. The light should be shown on the prosecutors who are persecuting these people, and not just the once a month report but a deep review of this. These are political prisoners.

I want to see the GOP plan to defund the DOJ. It is a perfect way to reduce the size of government, and remove the leftists that have been featherbedded into the federal workforce. We need to see some get serious efforts from the GOP to reduce the size of government, instead of the ratification of Democrat policies we have always seen. We cannot have any more GOP that strides into office to do nothing but tread in place, until the Democrats are back in control. We need to let the DOJ know their day is coming and make it clear they dam well better respond to our GOP letters and subpoenas, or a reckoning is going to be coming. As for the Republicans in jail, the DOJ better let them out. They have not been charged. The DOJ is hiding the evidence. The DOJ needs to be arrested and jailed for what they have done. The GOP needs to show us their plan to respond to these kinds of outrages. I want a GOP written plan signed by the members of Congress, with the below signed will do as promised, under penalties of perjury, and a fine of $5,000 per day for each violation.

This is fully worthy of the darkest days of the Soviet Union.
Our government is purely evil at this point, and the laws mean absolutely nothing. Political prisoners held without trials, beaten and tortured, with phony charges, no chance of a day in court.
This is rapidly approaching the levels of the Nazis in Germany persecuting the Jews. How long before they open gulags for those who disagree with them?

the Dems control the DOJ and FBI. They don't mind keeping these people in jail for minor crimes. Have they let all the BLM's and antifas go already? This is a democrat operation, that's why it's so effed up.

I agree with many other posters. This is epic and no one is particularly interested. The government is out of control. As I've always maintained, like any corporate entity, it will endeavor to accrete money power and influence regardless. These bureaucratic entities need to be reined in or better yet abolished.
