Mr. Kimmel,
During your show on 8 September 2021, you commented on the shortage of ICU beds, saying “Vaccinated person having a heart attack? Yes, come right on in, we’ll take care of you. Unvaccinated guy who gobbled horse goo? Rest in peace, wheezy.” I take issue with your commentary for three primary reasons: 1) the comments appear to be racially discriminatory, 2) the comments are not founded in science and serve to further divide a country that, unfortunately, is taking medical advice from too many non-physicians, and 3) the suggestion that doctors should selectively treat patients is unethical.

Excellent article. However, I will be glad when as much concern and consideration is give to overweight people as we give to drug addicts and alcoholics. Not all of us sit around all day eating chips and watching TV. As for Kimmel and all the late night bozos, karma is waiting.

I spoke to a doctor the other day whose opinion I value on a whole host of issues. I have known and worked with him for over 15 years. His opinion was that the pandemic killed off a whole lot of people who were going to die anyway, due to co-morbidities, and had the medical community simply did what they knew how to do using therapeutics and good advice on healthy life choices, the pandemic would’ve been over long ago. He was angry that the CDC, the NIH and the FDA had probably destroyed forever their credibility and reputations. He has been vaccinated, mainly because he bought into the whole asymptomatic people killing grandma talking point. It was a most enlightening conversation. He estimated that about 20-30% of doctors and healthcare workers shared his opinion, including his wife who is unvaccinated.

There are two ways to get infected with AIDS; promiscuous homosexual activity and reusing hypodermic needles. Despite the fact that it is caused by behavior and is avoidable, more public money has been spent per patient on AIDS than any other disease.

#5, it's because it's primarily a homosexual disease, and homosexuals have a lot of rich homosexual friends in Hollywierd and in Congress. So, homosexual diseases get special treatment.
Of course, Dr. Fraud spend many billions on a HIV vaccine....which never worked. And now he created a killer virus, and helped create another failing 'vaccine'.

The vaccines did not work. This is shown by Israeli data, as all of ours is fake. The NIH gave the grants to engineer the CCP virus and its reputation is destroyed. The NIH and AMA blocked Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin treatment and are responsible for US leading the world in mortality. Biden imposes a death panel for Regeneron treatment in Florida, Texas and Alabama. Our own doctors come out of this as the worst in the world because they ley people die rather than speak up against the Globalist Luciferian NWO project. The Taliban did not have a pandemic problem when they defeated the USA military who ran away. The Haitian invaders look so athletic that they are let in without PCR or vaccine. We already treat people differently when it comes to BLM or Trump people in the DC Gulag. I for one will remember and never forget.

Well #1, I have a front row seat to the thinking of young female liberal thinking and prevailing “wisdom” is that all sizes are beautiful. Pointing out there are health consequences to being obese is met with scorn. I’m not disagreeing with you but if the young are our future then no attention will be paid to this health crisis. Another poster mentioned a book, Wheat Belly, and I’ve downloaded that book and a book of wheat free recipes. It’s not impossible that our government likes us fat.

I unfortunately, I experienced #3 recently. No, not because of the vaccine but because of my party affiliation. I knew this doctor over 12 years and loved him. Just recently, he changed!! I'm in the process of looking for a new doctor and do not plan to ever return to him again.

Kimmel's suggestion is exactly what was done in Nazi Germany when they decided to eliminate those they considered a drag on their society.

I love this doctor, and have hope that there are many many many others doctors like him, who are just not as bold or articulate. Even this doctor, is not brave enough to use his own name, because of fear of retribution.
Regarding his statement that "Extremist views and actions will make it difficult, if not impossible, to resume civil behavior between Americans who became adversaries during the crisis.".... if this government tries to confine Americans in camps, there had better be a massive revolt on both sides of the vax fence!

Wise letter but the doctor is wasting his time. An ignorant blowhard like Kimmel, whose only professional responsibility is to attract sponsors for his TV show, will not listen. When a host models himself after Bill Maher but without the brains you get Jimmy Kimmel.
OTOH, a relative who works in an ER told me that unvaccinated COVID patients are frequently hard to work with because they often have obstinate, contrary personalities. So, if they each presented with a broken arm they’d be just as challenging to deal with. Despite that, they are treated with the utmost respect and care.

Someone should ask racist black face Jimmy Kimmel about his buddy Epstein and if he flew on the Lolita Express, as has been alleged. There' s nothing funny about a preachy late night "comic" who's really nothing but a blackmailed Marxist stooge.
Maxwell and Epstein weren't the only abusers. Why aren't we hearing more about the hundreds of others who flew on those flights to the wretched island? Apparently, the jackboots in the FBI who raided the island were ordered by their masters to ensure the Marxist elites skate, and little JImmy is likely one of them.

Kimmel is not the worst of these hate mongers. Don Lemon has been thoroughly covered on Greg Gutfeld. I run into people who buy into this nonsense and brand others as stupid, knuckle draggers, anti-science and, of course, Republican on a knee jerk fashion.
What's worse is the fact that these water carriers have killed so many by denying early treatment and using effective cures.

Like Jay Leno said on his Garage show to another former comedian and I paraphrase. I was pushed out of the time slot for comedy that touched on subjects throughout the political spectrum garnering 15 million viewers on an average night and 30 million when there was a special or anniversary. The three nightly hosts combined attract less than 3 million viewers. The punchline was; and each one is making more than he made. Now think of the divisiveness which isn't funny and think of the advertising decisions made to appeal to a small, angry audience?

The best letter I've ever seen outlining the entire COVID issue.
The only thing the Dr. missed was the Covid 19 origin...The Communists in China paid for by Dr. Fauxie, the lying scum govt. representative!
Our Government has Left Us, we didn't leave the government! It is way past time to totally OUTLAW Communism/Socialism in America.
Those that insist on their twisted political views should have their citizenship revoked and Deported to their favorite Communist country, PERMANENTLY!

Well written article. The author does mention he got a 'breakthrough' case of COVID but didn't patronize us by saying it'd been a lot worse if he hadn't gotten the shot.
Only one problem with his rationale - his claim that people are obese largely by personal choice. That's a shared perception and a great way to dehumanize fat people and dismiss them because, after all, it's their own fault! In truth, there are many reasons people get fat, and for most of them personal choice is not one of them. Nobody says "I want to be fat!" In fact, the opposite is true. Physiology, psychology and personal trauma all contribute to obesity and individuals are afflicted with one or more of these factors. How many fat people do you know who constantly try new diets and supplements? How many expend tremendous energy to the point of obsession and ruining their lives by trying one plan after another, one supplement after another, one dietary planning company after another? The diet industry is fat with the money they've siphoned off of desperate people. But haven't you noticed that most them shrink for a while and then round out again? In the meantime their lives are miserable because they feel compelled to focus on their weight reduction which, it turns out, becomes a lifetime priority.
Many people have succumbed to surgical remedies for obesity. Stomach surgery and balloons are readily available and widely approved by doctors. But how many people do you know who've had surgical treatment and ballooned out later anyway? How many people become ill or simply get whacked out after surgery?
Finally, we are very quick to judge people by their weight. We call people fat with a tone of disdain. Our children hear us and understand that it is OK to put fat people on the list of fair game so that they have an opportunity to assert undeniable superiority. Fat is a better avenue for bullying than, for example, ugly, because, after all, it's their own fault, isn't it? But there are consequences. Fat is so repellant that young people, particularly girls, will go to any measure to avoid its stigma. So you have anorexia.
So, they tell us, if you don't want to die of COVID, don't be fat! After all, it's easy to lose weight if you just control your impulses, isn't it? Kind of makes you wonder about AIDS, eh?

Jimmy Kimmel, his only job is carrying Joe Biden's jock and shining Joe Biden's shoes. The man is a communist party hack with zero talent. They keep him around like they keep Biden around, as useless idiots. Today its the unvaccinated, tomorrow it will be something else. All depends on what script they are given. Simple question, anybody ever hear from Susan Rice, the Director of the United States Domestic Policy Council for Biden. Didn't think so. Ah, could she be the Wizard of Oz...Think about it.......

FTA: "To be clear, I am vaccinated against COVID and am not “anti-vax.” The MD author begins the second paragraph with the modern day equivalent of wearing a BLM T-shirt while taking a knee before a sporting event to show the progressive mandarins that you are down with your Black athletes. Has that truly become a necessary "secret handshake" required to prove to the budding Communists that your actions or opinions have actual value?

FTA: "To be clear, I am vaccinated against COVID and am not anti-vax...In my practice a large percent of the unvaccinated patients are non-white – on the surface your (Kimmel's) statements could make you appear racist since you are targeting unvaccinated Americans and non-Whites disproportionately make us this group.”
Are these gratuitous statements thought by the author/physician required in 2021 in order to prove that you are worthy of being heard? Are such statements similar to a white coach wearing a BLM T-shirt and taking a knee before a sporting event to illustrate that you are down with the cause, like a good progressive, while using modern boogeyman, cancel culture shame to get Kimmel's attention (i.e., you must not anger the Blacks lest you appear racist and lose your celebrity status)?

Completely agree with #1. The obese need to be shamed and shunned the same way smokers are shamed and shunned, until they change their behavior. There is absolutely no reason for anyone to be obese. It is an entirely self-inflicted condition just as AIDS is. There is a reason that gluttony is one of the seven deadly sins.

Saying obesity isn't a personal choice is ridiculous. Sorry, failing to choose to eat less is a choice. Getting that double whopper and extra large fries and 48 ox sugary drink instead of the regular hamburger and a salad, and water, a thousand times in a row....is a choice. A person cannot weigh three hundred pounds without eating far too many calories day after day for years, it is physically impossible. Overweight people do not want to hear that the person in the mirror is the ONLY person responsible for their weight, and they love hating on the messenger if anyone says it out loud.
BUT I NEVER comment on a person's weight, that is entirely their own choice, their own business, none of mine. But the baloney that "...there are many reasons people get fat, and for most of them personal choice is not one of them." is just self serving nonsense.
I can guarantee that if any overweight person is locked in a cell and fed only 1800 calories per day, they will steadily lose weight. It cannot be any other way. People eating too much, for whatever reason, is ultimately a choice, no matter how much someone will deny it. For some it is reaction to stress, or loneliness or some other issues. I get that, but those are still choices.
All that said, I have fat friends and thin friends, and I never, EVER raise the topic, it is rude and uncaring, and not something I would ever do. But I don't buy the BS that it's somehow not a personal choice, either.

I USED to be a huge Jimmy Kimmel fan, but once he got viciously anti-Trump and hypocritical in the same breath I stopped. Period! No matter who his guests are. He could have God guesting and I wouldn't tune in. Ditto one of my favorite mystery authors, Daniel Silva----I read all his Gabriel Alon books and loved them, but this last one, The Cellist, is so anti Trump (without naming names) that I dumped it Hal;f way through and will never buy or read another. (He dedicates the book to the brave Capitol Hill cops who fought the right wing anarchists on Jan. 6th) Actually, this Cellist plot centered on an evil American President in league with the Russians via a hidden connection via a bank in Switzerland with Russian ties. Sound familiar, especially after Duran's latest report re: HILLARY paying a "respectable" lawyer to lie and say there was a connection, all in the name of being a good citizen? So goodbye Silva forever!
