The Democrats’ $3.5 trillion infrastructure bill would break President Joe Biden’s pledge not to increase taxes on working-class Americans. The Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT) found that the House Ways and Means Committee’s portion of the $3.5 trillion infrastructure bill would increase taxes on Americans making over $50,000 or more per year in the calendar year 2031, according to a Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT) report. The JCT’s analysis of the infrastructure bill would serve as a significant break from Biden’s promise not to raise taxes on Americans making less than $400,000 per year. “The President remains committed to his pledge from the campaign

Actually he's already raised taxes even on those making LESS than 50K. Have you bought gas lately? How about steak? Looked closely at your electric bill? By raising taxes on businesses, they are passing ALL those increases on to everyone in the form of increased cost of goods and services for pretty much everything. Inflation is another name for increased taxes on everyone. "Tax the rich"? Hahahahahaha. Idiots.

Dolllar Bill Clinton came into office in 1993 with the promise to raise income taxes only on the wealthy. Then his people included the rental value of your home, if you owned it, to jack up your income on paper, to justify the proposed tax increase on the middle class. Some things never change.

There is a LONG time between the Democrats’ false promises and the “next election.” American voters have a notoriously poor memory and they are easily distracted (RussiaGate, COVID). Democrats have plenty of time to use their propaganda, and make threats to cut off free stuff which they allow people to become dependent upon. And besides obvious taxation, they rely on inflation as a hidden tax to avoid seemingly appearing tax-hungry. They have put America on the road to destruction because they care only about their power to control.

Morrison said teams from the three countries would draw up a joint plan over the coming 18 months for assembling the new Australian nuclear-powered submarine fleet, which will be built in Adelaide. When he was elected, Joe Biden was seen as a seasoned professional politician, someone who knew Washington, knew how government worked, and knew Congress well enough to break the logjam on the Hill and get things done. At least, that’s how Biden was sold to the American public. Not surprisingly, that’s not the way things have worked out. Biden has made a bunch of rookie mistakes — unforced errors on the economy, Afghanistan, and now vaccine mandates — that threaten to derail his party and presidency and bury the Democrats in a Republican landslide in 2022.
