Rolling Stone's ivermectin fiction shows
why Republicans don't trust media

If you want to know why Republicans have no faith in news organizations, look no further than the Rolling Stone story shared liberally across Twitter this weekend claiming that Oklahoma hospitals were turning away gunshot victims because they were overwhelmed by “horse dewormer overdoses.” Headlined “Gunshot Victims Left Waiting as Horse Dewormer Overdoses Overwhelm Oklahoma Hospitals, Doctor Says,” the Rolling Stone story, written by Peter Wade , quoted a Dr. Jason McElyea who claimed, “The ERs are so backed up that gunshot victims were having hard times getting to facilities where they can get definitive care and be treated.”

Dr. Robert Malone, inventor of mRNA, in a video published at Epoch Times, chuckled about the ignorant nonsense about ivermectin being “horse medicine”. He has horses and cattle, and there are different ivermectins for them as well as for humans. Cattle get liquid; horses get paste. Humans get pills. All different. Dealing with his own “long Covid”, he takes the pills. Gives the other to his livestock, but would never give the liquid for cattle to his horses. My saying: “Ignorance can be fixed (with information); stupid is forever”...

The truth about ivermectin will not ever get through to the dems base. Daily Kos is still pushing the Oklahoma hospital story and over at HuffPo ivermectin is denigrated and anyone they thinks it has value re covid is ridiculed. An informed constituency is a politicians worst nightmare, the dems need not worry.

There's a meme about cats and boxes: "If it fits I sits." Seems like that's how Leftys use narratives. Doesn't matter if it's true. It if fits they slip it in on a holiday weekend when it makes iPhones' headlines while the corrections slide by. And too many Americans rely on phones for news.

Dr. Jason McElyea is a family medicine doctor who apparently works occasionally for the ER staffing firm that contracts with this hospital. In most hospitals these days, ERs are staffed by these contracting firms. I first encountered this about 30 years ago, so it’s not new. Was McElyea just trying to attract attentiion? Fail.

The MSM and our federal health agencies never stop trying to make it difficult for Americans to get treatments that DOCTORS around the world report clear the virus in a matter of days. President Trump wanted Americans to be able to treat Covid at home with a short course of cheap drugs like Hydroxychloroquine and antibiotics. Now we know Ivermectin, zinc, and other helpful combinations are an effective option already saving lives around the world. But what does Blundering do? He has our federal health agencies working to keep doctors from prescribing and patients from taking LEGAL drugs that fight covid, while he leaves the US wide open to illegal aliens carrying illegal drugs that kill thousands of Americans every week. This is no way to run a country,

#21 cont’d - the Abstract: In 2015, the Nobel Committee for Physiology or Medicine, in its only award for treatments of infectious diseases since six decades prior, honoured the discovery of ivermectin (IVM), a multifaceted drug deployed against some of the world’s most devastating tropical diseases. Since March 2020, when IVM was first used against a new global scourge, COVID-19, more than 20 randomized clinical trials (RCTs) have tracked such inpatient and outpatient treatments. Six of seven meta-analyses of IVM treatment RCTs reporting in 2021 found notable reductions in COVID-19 fatalities, with a mean 31% relative risk of mortality vs. controls. During mass IVM treatments in Peru, excess deaths fell by a mean of 74% over 30 days in its ten states with the most extensive treatments. Reductions in deaths correlated with the extent of IVM distributions in all 25 states with p < 0.002. Sharp reductions in morbidity using IVM were also observed in two animal models, of SARS-CoV-2 and a related betacoronavirus. The indicated biological mechanism of IVM, competitive binding with SARS-CoV-2 spike protein, is likely non-epitope specific, possibly yielding full efficacy against emerging viral mutant strains.

The committee, which writes tax policy, will have large sway over the crafting of the $3.5 trillion infrastructure bill. “I’m pushing for full repeal,” he added. According to data compiled by the Centers For Disease Control, approximately one in every 5,000 vaccinated Americans has tested positive for the coronavirus. That number is probably much lower in places with significantly fewer cases — like the Northeast, Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco areas, where it is probably fewer than one in 10,000. This is the first detailed data about so-called “breakthrough” infections — positive tests from people fully vaccinated. The data suggests that politicians and public health officials are wildly overreacting to the delta variant’s effect on the already vaccinated.

Welp, that was a short marriage. Mere months after glowingly calling the new love of their life “a return to adulthood,” no-longer-swooning European leaders have kicked the inept “cheater” — beleaguered Joe Biden — to the curb, correctly labeling his haphazard, unilateral, disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, “cowardice,” “the greatest debacle that NATO has experienced since its foundation,” and worse. At the NATO summit in 2017, French President Emanuel Macron dug his fingertips into then-President Donald Trump’s hand, as reported by the BBC, staring him in the face. Macron would later say: “It wasn’t innocent. In my bilateral dialogues, I won’t let anything pass.”

Though delayed by Democratic quorum breaks, Texas has officially joined the slate of Republican states that have enacted new voting restrictions following the 2020 election. Gov. Greg Abbott on Tuesday signed into law Senate Bill 1, sweeping legislation that further tightens state election laws and constrains local control of elections by limiting counties’ ability to expand voting options. The governor’s signature ends months of legislative clashes and standoffs during which Democrats — propelled by concerns that the legislation raises new barriers for marginalized voters — forced Republicans into two extra legislative sessions.

You can almost hear the wailing. If the media wants to keep up the COVID-19 panic porn, they will have to pick on a Democrat governor. Right now, Oregon Governor Kate Brown is seeing a significant surge in COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations in her state, just like Hawaii experienced concurrent with the red states in the Southeast. But if the media talks about Hawaii and Oregon, they have to point out that these states enforced some of the strictest restrictions and mask mandates, and cases surged anyway. That can’t happen. The corporate media prefers to portray Florida Governor Ron DeSantis as incompetent and generally fails spectacularly.
