CDC says unvaccinated should delay travel

Americans unvaccinated against COVID-19 and eyeing travel plans this Labor Day weekend should reconsider, Dr. Rochelle Walensky, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said during a White House briefing Tuesday. Overall, the health agency advises delaying travel until becoming fully vaccinated, defined as two weeks post-second dose, or two weeks following the single-shot developed by Johnson & Johnson.(Snip)“…People who are fully vaccinated and who are wearing masks can travel although given where we are with disease transmission right now, we would say that people need to take these risks into their own consideration as they think about traveling,” she said.

Comments:

The unvaccinated should delay travel lest they encounter vaccinated people who are actively spreading variants created by the vaccine. Is that the idea?

Another worthless, commie controlled, totalitarian government agency that needs to be abolished and all of the top leadership be brought to trial for murder. The current Federal Government is rotten to the core and beyond fixing. We all need to recognize this as Truth and engage in civil disobedience from the smallest to largest conduct of our lives. We will travel when and where we please. Period, Full Stop.

I agree with the OP. Also, if the “vaccine “ works, shouldn’t the “ vaccinated “ be immune from catching CoVid? The “vaccinated “ are doing the rest of us a big favor. They’re producing more contagious but less harmful variants whose antibodies protect us against the original CoVid. But the jab has compromised their immune systems so the variants are more dangerous to them than they otherwise would be. And, we smart jab avoiders get the blame for the problems caused by the jab.

If only they would. I wouldn't mind a less crowded plane and airport this weekend. The past few months both have been over-run by the hoi-polloi who have no airport etiquette. But sadly, with the CDC having shot their credibility, I doubt anyone is still listening to them. I certainly don't.

Now it's advice. Just wait until they attempt to enforce this nonsense. I wonder if a motorcycle helmet with a face shield counts as a mask? I declare that it does. How do they define "fully vaccinated" these days for a non-vaccine that can't seem to keep up with the variants and causes more pain and sickness than the original COVID does?
