Tony Dow, who played big brother Wally Cleaver in the golden age TV classic “Leave It to Beaver,” was hospitalized with pneumonia over the weekend after a harrowing 24-hour wait for a bed.The 76-year-old ex-child star’s wife, Lauren Shulkind, confirmed to TMZ that — thanks to a shortage of hospital beds caused by the surge of Delta variant infections in California — her husband of 41 years spent “24 hours” suffering in the waiting room before being treated. Los Angeles County health officials have reported that 30 percent of new COVID-19 cases are “breakthrough” infections among fully vaccinated Los Angeles residents,

Bidens regimes brave new world for all Americans. Wait until the newly washed invading population take their seat at the socialist marxist trough of never ending " free" stuff.

I checked last night. Out here in 'fly over country', where we live just above the stone age, at least in the view of most on the coasts, 84% of the hospital beds in my county near KC metro area are empty. 7% have Wuhan flu patients, 9% have other kinds of patients.
I hope Mr. Dow gets good medical care and recovers. Pneumonia is a huge killer of the elderly.

I lived next door to a physician from 2005 to 2011. She said Medicaid mothers (typically illegals) brought children who had colds to the ER. And many times, the next day, the mother would return with another child, who also had a cold. At that time, the minimum ER treatment cost was $200. This physician said Medicaid patients would be dissuaded from ER visits by a co-pay of a single dollar.

A shame that Tony didn’t leave it to Ivermectin.

I've know two people close to me that were admitted to the hospital for covid.
The hospital administered oxygen and nothing - ABSOLUTLEY NOTHING!!! - for days, until their lips turned blue. Then and only then was Remsdevisir given to them.
My friend - a chiropractor - has patients who went to the animal feed store and purchased the Ivermectin cream. Took in internally. They recovered quickly.

The “shortage of beds” is due to a staffing issue, NOT because every bed they have is filled with Delta variant patients. This is the exact same numbers game the medical community played last time to scare the public into submission, and collect Covid cash.

Would he have had to wait if he had tested positive? they tested him 5 times, no covid so he had to wait.

I always thought Tony Dow was an accomplished actor and I wish him well.
But I question why they keep referring these as “Breakthrough” infections instead of what they actually are - VACCINE FAILURES.

Speedy Recovery Tony, Leave it Beaver was my favorite show as a kid.
Although June saying to Ward 'you need to go upstairs and talk to the beaver' has a whole different meaning now a days.

By hospitals being full, they mean most of the doctors are home practicing telemedicine.

Geez Beav. Dad's liable to clobber us.
The dirtiest words ever on TV were said on his show. June came downstairs and Dad was at the breakfast table reading his paper. June said "Dont you think you were a little rough on the Beaver last night, Ward?"
In any case, I hope he recovers quickly.

This report sounds about right...I keep saying that if Covid doesn't kill, the medical profession is sure as hell going to try.

I hope Mr. Dow recovers from his illness. He and Jerry Mathers were terrific as brothers on “Leave it to Beaver,” an American television classic sit-com.
Sadly, several of Mr. Dow’s LITB co-stars have died over the past few years, including the great Ken “Eddie Haskell” Osmond, the wonderfully dim-witted Frank “Lumpy Rutherford” Bank and the beautiful Cheryl “Julie Foster” Holdridge.
