OP - Thank you for posting this interesting article offering a different viewpoint from the other side of the world. I clicked on it for personal reasons, our pastor is from India. He is a member of a missionary order and one of five serving in our "mission" Diocese of Santa Rosa. (Short native vocations to the priesthood, the United States now receives missionaries instead of sending them.) Be that as it may, Fr. Aaron would visit his family every year in the interim between the Christmas Season and Ash Wednesday. He missed this past January and is leaving next week for a month back home. I fear he may not be able to return. FTA: "The time has come for the powerful countries of the West to abandon their hands-off approach and tackle the growing turmoil caused by terrorism across the world — particularly in Asia and Africa. The Taliban is not alone in its expansion; al-Qaeda and other terror groups have also expanded their activities in many African and Asian nations." Shekar is an earnest man and connects many dots in the rise of terrorism, but misses how the inept Western response was a feature not a flaw. Our experiences during the Tea Party days opened eyes to the duplicitous actions of electeds and the reality of the Uniparty Deep State. The "West" is no longer interested in individual liberty, free associations or limited government. The rise of terrorism was the "crisis" used to plow up the field of personal freedom and reseed it with Marxism. The weeds have grown up with the wheat and the time for the harvest has come. We are the harvesters of the Landowner. Every Soldier of Christ must bundle up the weeds, yet take care the wheat is not bruised, so that the weeds may be thrown in the fire. Our Heavenly Father made each and every one of us to be alive during this time. No matter our station in life, our ultimate vocation is to proclaim Christ Crucified for the redemption of mankind in our words and, most importantly, in our actions. And all those actions must be rooted in prayer, fasting and the reading and meditation upon the Holy Scriptures. AMDG then MAGA, then the Greatest Reset with Christ the King.

He made sense all of the way through, until..."The UN must make a much greater effort to counter not only the Taliban, al-Qaeda and Boko Haram, but illegal acts such as Russia’s bombing of Syria and Israel’s bombing of Lebanon."...Uhmmmm Russia was primarily bombing ISIS(though they also bombed Kurds who were/are under the threat of extermination by Assads forces. Syrias Govt often functions as terrorists, Assad just wants a marxist Caliphate rather than a sunni one, though he also gets support from Iran who are/want a Shiaa Caliphate) and Israel was ONLY bombing Hezbollah, again a terrorist proxy of Iran. It's a bit "strange" when you remember that in the 60's-70's the worlds first/worst Islamic terrorists, PLO/Fatah...are now the "Nicest" of the hardline/unreformed Islamic groups in the region, only because the others have exceeded the horrors Fatah initially created and instituted.

As many long-time readers will know, we do have a little bit more than average experience dealing with the aftermath of hurricanes. I ain’t no expert in the before part; you need to heed the local professionals who guide you through any preparation, and neighborhood specific guidelines, for your immediate area…But when it comes to the ‘after part’, well, as a long-time CERT recovery member, perhaps I can share some things you might find of value. Consider this little word salad a buffet, absorb what might be of value – pass over anything else.If your town, city or hamlet is not underwater, there will be convoys coming to construct a

A nation horrified by its first surrender in its nearly 250-year history was further humiliated when Biden refused to go to Dover Air Force Base to pay his respects to the 13 Marines who arrived by casket. (snip) As commander-in-chief, Biden is responsible for those deaths. His poor judgment killed those Marines. He owed it to them to own up to this. He owed it to the families to share their grief. And yes, out of 13 families, I expect someone could make a scene. I expect someone would lash out at him. I expect that someone would make Biden feel very, very bad. But that is part of the job.

Gen. Mark A. Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs, must go. President Biden claims that the military advised him to close Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan and instead use Kabul’s airport to evacuate Americans. They were the ones who said the Afghan army would hold, that the pullout would go smoothly. If Biden is telling the truth, this disaster is on Milley’s watch. Or Biden is lying (the more likely scenario, based on what sources inside the administration are saying) and Milley failed to do his duty and push back against a commander in chief who is making deadly decisions. Either way, he is derelict in his duty

The public school system in America is in crisis — the worst crisis since the forced bussing and integration issues of the 1970s. Simply put, parents and students have lost faith in the school system to educate. They doubt whether the schools have the best interests of their students at heart. This poisonous doubt is having a tangible effect on enrollment. Despite the fact that public education is free, parents are sending their children to private schools with more reliable, more predictable policies.
