A federal judge on Friday ordered the Biden administration to "enforce and implement" the Trump-era Remain-in-Mexico policy in response to a lawsuit from Texas and Missouri, which claimed that the administration’s attempt to terminate the policy was illegal and harmful.
The two Republican states had sought a preliminary injunction against the administration’s June 1 memo formally ending the policy -- officially called the Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP). They argued that the ending of the policy was in breach of the Administrative Procedures Act (APA). The ruling by Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk, orders the Biden administration "to enforce and implement MPP in good faith"

Texas demands damages from Joe Biden's China bribes for all the damages he has done to Texas. It is not enough to break the law, and there are no consequences.

Irreparable damage has already been done with hundreds of thousands of illegals being spread around the US in the dead of night. I would suspect that the Biden Clown Show does not even have records of who went where. Oh, that's right, Kamala has it under control.

After about 30 or 40 appeals by both sides, this issue should be decided in about 5 years. Unless we get a sane administration next election.

Shitlibs don't pay any attention to SCOTUS, so what makes anyone think they will pay attention to this? Have any actually been arrested and thrown is jail for contempt of court on the eviction thing, for example?

The judge put a week stay on his order to give the government time to appeal. I bet it doesn't take that long for the justice department to appeal this to a liberal judge and overturn it. That means nothing changes, the border stays open. The judge has only put a week of delay in before the next ruling before the state can appeal again. Such a sham!

The Democrats have long used federal judges to push their policies through. Now a federal judge has ruled in favor of a President Trump policy. When policies were overruled the Democrats insisted that the judge's ruling had to be obeyed. Now that the situation is reversed, what do you want to bet that the Democrats will ignore the judge.

This is the final paragraph from the article that, to me, is confusing - can someone tell me what it means?
"While Kacsmaryk says the court does not have the authority to tell a DHS employee which individual migrants must be enrolled in MPP, it finds that it can enjoin a blanket policy that again allows front line Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers to use MPP to return migrants to Mexico."
It sounds like DHS can still do whatever the hell it wants to do.

Sauce for the goose… non-compliance with the APA was the reason a liberal judge prevented Trump from reversing DACA. Heh.

#7 has it right. As the wimpy establishment Republicans are swooning about all the cheap foreign labor that the Biden non-enforcement of the immigration laws “open border” and “catch and release” policies are providing businesses.

A federal judge ordered me to put ketchup on my hot dog, which carries about the same weight as this order. The Obama Doctrine states that CommuNazis are entitled to ignore any law with which they disagree, and that trumps the decree of any worthless federal judge'.
