Most Americans in major cities are more worried about crime than defunding the police—as a new poll shows about 90 percent of Detroit residents actually want more cops. The poll from USA TODAY and the Detroit Free Press conducted with Suffolk University found that Detroit residents overwhelmingly agree that they would feel safer with more cops on the street. This California city is really sticking it to its workers. Montclair in San Bernardino County now requires that its city employees who want to go maskless wear stickers proving they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
In order to be allowed not to wear a mask while working, the staffers have to show proof of inoculation, city officials said.
