The Department of Justice has decided not to investigate whether the civil rights of residents in New York’s government-run nursing homes were violated by Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s controversial admission policy related to the COVID-19 pandemic. In a letter Friday, the DOJ’s Office of Legislative Affairs told US Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.), ranking member of that House Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis, that New York was off the hook in connection with potential violations of the Civil Rights of Institutionalized Persons Act.(Snip)In a prepared statement, Scalise called it “outrageous that the Department of Justice refuses to investigate the deadly ‘must admit’ orders issued by governors

How many thousands did this angry butt nugget kill? They tanked the inquiry on Cruella from Michigan for the same thing today, too. Clearing the decks of any malfeasance on the part of their allies. No liability for Big Pharma, and no liability for the governors that made these decisions. Take a selfie in the Capitol? Death to you, tyrant. F this government.

There has never in the history of our country been a more corrupt political party than the democrat party. Their unbridled hubris is shocking. Cuomo is an amoral political hack who sentenced innocent victims to their deaths because it was politically expedient. This man should be sitting in prison for the rest of his life. Instead he is feted by his corrupt cronies. Has any democrat ever been held responsible for their crimes? Yeah, this one won’t be either. My heart goes out to the families of his victims. The only thing they have left is to shame him every time he leaves his home. Stand on the sidewalk with a picture of your loved ones and a list of names of the people who died because of his direct actions. Do not give him a moment of peace.

DOJ is doing the same thing for Michigan and Pennsylvania. This is horrifying for the families that lost their loved ones. The actions of the democrat governors to confine the elderly with weaken immune systems was pure murder. The only thing that these families could do is take these governors to civil court. Sue them as a civilian not as a governor.

Has anyone ever explained why they put Covid-19 infected patients into nursing homes? The elderly in those nursing homes already have enough things to worry about, why add to it.? it didn't sense then and it doesn't make sense now. It's like our government, they harp day and night about getting vaccinated but illegals come into the country unvaccinated, not tested, and flown to all parts of the country. Red states mostly. Why? It is an insane policy pushed by insane politicians for insane political reasons. Nothing more. Someone should be held accountable.

The Gram Reaper was just following orders. Sowing the nursing homes with death accomplished two important Demarxist goals: it reduced the financial burden on Medicare rolls, and it ginned up the desired terror level, furthering their devious lockdown goals. Cuomo deserved an Order Of Lenin for that one.

If we had a free press that reported the news, the WHOLE news and nothing BUT the news Americans could easily put 2 and 2 together and figure out what's happening right in front of their faces. But how can they know about something that's not reported or made to look inconsequential such as Cuomo and the nursing home scandal?

Remember when the Dems raised a big stink about the torture in Abu Ghraib, the prison in Iraq? That was kindergarten stuff compared to this. I pray when President Trump comes back to the White House, he trusts no one. The first time he was there he was mesmerized by being there and being potus and trusted everyone. There were leaks everyday. Next time will be totally different. He'll be able to clean a lot of it up, especially with the senate and the house. On a regular day at work, Matt Teague and Forrest Kinney hop into a Durango Police Department patrol vehicle. The car is outfitted with the typical police gear – a dispatch radio, weapons, safety equipment – but also a teddy bear, bottled water and blankets. Teague, a social worker, and Kinney, a police officer, focus on a unique approach to emergency response that combines mental health care with policing. “The goal is treatment, mental health treatment, substance abuse treatment,” Teague said. “Sometimes, it’s as simple as getting assistance through Manna (soup kitchen) or housing assistance.”

A lifelong baseball fan, I abandoned the game this year after MLB sided with the Democratic Party in its campaign against ballot integrity in Georgia. It wasn’t just that: my home town team has put a “Black Lives Matter” sign and a memorial to George Floyd in right field. If I can’t escape politics at a baseball game, I’d rather go somewhere else. For the first time in decades, I haven’t seen a major league baseball game this year. Not only that, I haven’t watched or listened to a single pitch on radio or television. Then there is football. Commissioner Roger Goodell is driving the sport in a “woke” direction.

For a second time this week, a D.C. firefighter has been the victim of car theft while on duty serving the public, but this time, it was an armed carjacking. “It’s extremely frustrating for people that are trying to help other people to have this happen to them,” D.C. Fire Chief John Donnelly said. The firefighter walked out of Engine Company 8 in the 1500 block of C Street SE just after 11 p.m. Wednesday and started to get into his car parked nearby, according to the police report. Two young males, possibly teenagers, both armed with handguns approached him

Former President Trump railed Friday against the owners of Cleveland's Major League Baseball team having to change the team's name from the Indians to the Guardians, saying the end of the 106-year-old tradition was a "disgrace" forced by a small group of people "determined to destroy our culture and heritage." Trump expressed his disappointment with the change hours after it was announced by the franchise.
