Not watching. Dani is…. just too too. Robbie is reading Mike’s secondary script and trying too hard with the “guy cliches.” Love Forged in Fire, Alone, and Mountain Men instead.

I thought the show was deceptive. Buy a widget for $200.00 and then proclaim it's valued at $400.00. Sorry, but the value of the widget is what the market dictates; i.e., show me the sales receipt for $400.00 and then I'll believe you.

Just as there's nothing stock about a stock car, there's no reality in a reality show.

President Joe Biden said he asks Secret Service agents to keep out of his bedroom at breakfast time because he hasn't dressed yet. Biden gave some insight into his morning routine at a CNN town hall on Wednesday. He said he liked to start his days wearing his robe and eating breakfast undisturbed by his protection detail. Secret Service agents usually stay close to the president as he moves around the White House, where he lives with his wife, Jill. Asked by CNN's Don Lemon what life behind the scenes was like at the White House, Biden said the Secret

Members of President Joe Biden’s party are upset about his decision not to allow Canadians into the United States despite Canada’s plan to begin admitting Americans in the coming weeks. “As Canada prepares to further open the border next month, the United States is failing to reciprocate, jeopardizing an already tenuous recovery for thousands of businesses, families and communities across Upstate New York," said Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, a New York Democrat, in a statement. “It is critical for the United States to level the playing field and create a uniform system, following the science and data, to safely

Initial filings for unemployment insurance totaled 419,000 for the week ended July 17, well above the 350,000 Dow Jones estimate and more than the upwardly revised 368,000 from the previous period, the Labor Department reported Thursday. The news sent stock market futures off their highs for the morning, with Wall Street pointing to a slightly negative open. Government bond yields also endged lower. Failing the pandemic test, as World Health Organization Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus believes the world is, means even countries with high vaccination rates could once again find themselves back where they were in March 2020. Ghebreyesus has long advocated for high-income countries to help fill inequities in health care by sharing vaccine doses with other countries' most vulnerable populations. Focusing on a country's own people and not the world's population allows for more mutations of the virus to pop up and in a global world, a deadly variant in one place poses a threat to everywhere. President Biden has been more freewheeling with his remarks in the last few weeks, leading to slip-ups the White House has had to clean up. The most recent example came Friday, when Biden accused Facebook of “killing people” because of the misinformation spread on the social media network about coronavirus vaccines. It was a striking statement that triggered a furious response from Facebook. And on Monday, it became clear Biden had gone further and been more biting than he intended. Less than three days after his initial remarks, the president reversed course, saying Facebook “isn’t killing people.” “My hope is

There are several signs in the market for newly built homes that point to a potential slowdown for the nation’s homebuilders. Data released Tuesday added to the evidence that builders are pulling back. Single family housing starts continued to rise in June, many of those for homes already sold. But building permits, an indicator of future construction, fell more than expected last month to the lowest point since August and were about 100,000 units below the six-month average, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. “The single family market in particular desperately needs more new homes, especially on the lower end

President Joe Biden’s administration is weighing the idea of more mask mandates for Americans during the coronavirus pandemic — even if they are vaccinated, according to a report published Wednesday. Details of the masking discussions were reported by the Washington Post. The White House is weighing these options as the “Delta variant” of the virus is spreading, even among the vaccinated. The report noted that federal health officials are considering whether they would update masking guidance, asking all Americans to wear masks indoors in public places. The White House would likely face strong pushback from vaccinated Americans

As summer reaches peak heat, a recent piece in Time magazine on air conditioning exemplifies the rot pervading academia and threatening the nation. Eric Dean Wilson, an instructor and graduate student at City University of New York, wrote about how air conditioning will destroy the planet. His essay demonstrates the confluence of such intellectually fashionable ideas as environmentalist extremism, critical race theory, equity, and the condemnation of capitalism and “white supremacy.” Wilson has no training in climate science or mechanical engineering. Yet he teaches “climate-themed writing and environmental justice” at the City University of New York. Wilson describes his recent book
