It happened that, as I was thinking about writing about my husband and me being canceled by our own children six months ago — we have been agonizing about not being able to talk to them or see our grandson for all that time — a thought popped into my mind: blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
Weeks ago, while struggling with how to understand what has happened, I picked up a copy of Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals. Then I looked at a book by David Horowitz entitled Barack Obama's Rules for Revolution: The Alinsky Model.

The Duke of Sussex is to publish an intimate memoir of his life, which he has vowed will be “accurate and wholly truthful”.
The book, to be released late next year, will share the “definitive account” of his “experiences, adventures, losses, and life lessons”, publisher Penguin Random House announced on Monday night.
It marks the first time a senior royal has ever written such a personal account of their life and the prospect of yet further damaging revelations is likely to send shockwaves through the Royal family.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken is neither naïve nor stupid. So why did he invite United Nations officials to investigate systemic racism in the United States? It cannot be for the sophomoric reason he stated:
“Responsible nations must not shrink from scrutiny of their human rights record; rather, they should acknowledge it with the intent to improve.” (snip) We could write the report right now, without even knowing that the UN Human Rights chief, Michelle Bachelet, has already endorsed reparations on July 12 after issuing a UN report on systemic racism in late June which called for wide range of reparation measures.

President Biden argued that a massive influx of government spending bill will help fend off inflation, in a speech on the state of the economy at the White House on Monday.
The White House has dubbed the $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill that Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer plans to bring to the floor this week — and the $3.5 trillion budget resolution that Democrats plan to pass in the coming days without Republican support — the “Build Back Better” package. Biden said Monday that the two bills will help prevent, rather than exacerbate, runaway inflation.

Lustful Olympic athletes should think twice before making the bed rock in Tokyo.

DES MOINES, Iowa — Former Vice President Mike Pence told Breitbart News exclusively that Democrat President Joe Biden’s “bad policy,” including his $1.9 trillion coronavirus aid package and massive new spending proposals under consideration in Congress, could derail economic recovery from the coronavirus pandemic. Pence’s comments came in a wide-ranging interview Friday evening about the Biden agenda and the upcoming midterm elections at the Family Leadership Summit after he gave remarks to a crowd of about a thousand Christian conservatives in downtown Des Moines, Iowa.
