President Biden couldn’t even draw a big in-person crowd at a teachers’ union convention on Friday evening, telling a mostly empty hall in Washington that teachers deserve a pay raise. Only about 50 members of leadership and staff of the National Education Association were in the cavernous hall at the Washington Convention Center when Mr. Biden and first lady Jill Biden, an educator with close ties to the NEA, took the stage. “Hello, everyone,” Mr. Biden said to laughter.(Snip)“She spoke to a largely empty hall, talking about the dedication of teachers to keeping students safe this past year, and for teaching remotely,” according to the pool report.

Biden says they deserve a raise? Raise for what, maybe for not attending their jobs for over a year or to attend the meeting in person? Even if the hall was packed, it would still be empty of any thought.

Teachers (Other than private, Christian, and Catholic schools) took a knee during the recent apocalypse...sorry...why is zoom teaching (no discipline problems, cafeteria duty, hall monitor, bus duty) deserving of a pay raise...just throwing that out...teachers and administrators in public schools were not helpful when they needed to be...LA, Chicago, NYC....school districts deservedly deserve what scorn the public gives them

Which is exactly the reason the TV Stations don't want to carry a Trump Rally!! How pathetic is that! They are trying so hard to prop up Biden and then Trump comes along and has over 30,000 show up for his Rally last week! Just ain't Fair! Poor Joe and Jill can't catch a Break! I'm betting the Rally tonight will bring even more Trump Followers (If it isn't rained out)! I will watch it on NEWSMAX. Over 2 million watched Newsmax cover it last weekend, FOX decided not to cover it! Too Bad, so sad! They will miss out on 2 million more tonight! Newsmax is doing a great job covering Trump. FOX doesn't even want their people to mention his NAME!

School teachers don't deserve squat. They stayed at home in their pajamas and watched Netfix while Walmart employees along with Family Dollar, Dollar Tree, grocery employees not to mention Healthcare employees along with many others busted their bottoms providing essential services to us. Teachers proved one thing during the pandemic: they are only glorified, well educated day care workers who are NOT essential.

Engineers believe a Miami condo that collapsed killing at least 24 residents may have been built using less reinforced steel than the plans called for—as officials planned to blow up the remaining wing with 121 people still missing. Inspectors identified the issue at critical places in the base of the building in the first details about possible issues in the quality of construction at the 13-story Champlain Towers South in Surfside. Forensic engineering expert Allyn E. Kilsheimer confirmed there were signs that the amount of steel used to connect concrete slabs below a parking deck to the building's vertical columns may have been less

Austin, Texas—Republican Allen West, the former Florida congressman and firebrand who rode into office on the tea party wave a decade ago, said Sunday that he will run for governor of Texas in a bid to again seize on restless anger from the right. His odds are far longer this time around: Republican Gov. Greg Abbott, who is up for a third term and may also be eyeing a 2024 presidential bid, has already locked up the endorsement of Donald Trump–whose voters West would need to have any shot at winning a GOP primary in Texas. The hurdles don’t stop there.

More than 1.3 million people are currently awaiting deportation decisions in immigration courts, and the average case has been pending for nearly three years, according to new data that sheds light on just how broken the U.S. immigration system has become. A decade ago just 300,000 cases were pending, and even three years ago it was fewer than 770,000 cases, meaning the government has netted more than 550,000 cases on its docket since 2018, according to the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse at Syracuse University. Those of Joe Biden’s public behaviors that align with classic dementia symptoms are escalating. In the past few days, he strongly exhibited two symptoms: A type of belligerence that’s a cover-up for confusion and memory loss and a paranoid fear of those in charge of him. I used to spend a lot of time in the company of doctors. What always fascinated me were the tales they told of dealing with patients with early-stage dementia. The most interesting point they made was that elderly people, so as not to lose face or admit their own fears, are superb at deflecting the questions aimed at assessing their cognitive skills and memory.
