Law banning trans athletes from
women's sports unconstitutional: DOJ

The Department of Justice is mounting a case arguing that laws in West Virginia and Arkansas that bar transgender athletes from competing in women’s sports are unconstitutional, despite the overwhelming majority of Americans supporting biological gender segregation in sports, according to a report citing court papers. “The United States has a significant interest in ensuring that all students, including students who are transgender, can participate in an educational environment free of unlawful discrimination,” the DOJ said in court documents filed in a West Virginia court case Thursday, according to a report by the Daily Mail.(Snip)A poll from May found that a majority of Americans don’t support transgender

Comments:

Even setting aside the issue of transgender mental illness being considered a civil right, the Founders would have said that local sports contests are none of the federal government's business. But in Gay Beclowned America, the sewer in which we wallow has no bottom.

In addition to what #1,2 said.... So called trans women are not barred from sports. They are men. They can join men's sports without limitation, the same as any other man. I see no issue barring mentally ill men from competing in women's sports anymore than barring normal men from doing the same. Anything else would lead (and is right now) to the destruction of women's sports. Wait until the next summer olympics when men in skirts sweep a pile of medals from women. Good times!

Boys faking their way into girl's sports is a way for permanent junior varsity boys to play varsity sports. It's a haven for second rate male atheletes who can't be competitive otherwise. The girls should just quit and let the boys compete against themselves, and be the losers they actually are.

Discrimination? DISCRIMINATION? Hello? I learned when I was FIVE that boys and girls wee-wee differently. Some have little appendages, some do not. One group is male, the other female. What changed? Boys compete with boys, girls with girls. End of story.

The courts have historically avoided sports governance issues. In every state there is a high school athletic association that sets the rules, not the state legislatures or governors. That's their function. There are no constitutional issues here. None. As men/boys cannot discriminate or segregate by sex/gender, neither can the women/womyn/girls. Don't like it, set up a private sports club...and hire a lawyer. It's likely your local "civil rights" laws and ordinances prohibits such discrimination, particularly using public facilities.

The idea that biological males should be called girls and then compete as girls is subversive. That is the point of it - to condition people to be brainwashed. Unmooring a society from its deepest foundational beliefs is a prerequisite to ushering in the patently criminal system of communism in the name of compassion. If boys are girls and words are violence and police protection is illegitimate and borders are racist then it isn’t hard to believe that theft is moral, America is systemically evil, math and science should be based on opinions and that some pock-marked psychopath in fatigues should run our country.

This will be the end of women's sports in highschool and in college. These transgendered athletes will win all the events because they are still built like men. And when the women have had enough they will drop out of the track meets and what will the transgenders have gained. Nothing. Womens sports will be gone. I'll be waiting for the first transgendered basketball player to apply for the WNBA draft. Some 6'10" 240 lb power forward who couldn't make it in the NBA I'm sure would be welcomed with open arms to play in that league. I mean fair is fair right?

My 5'2 daughter played in three sports grade school through college. She was pretty good too. Elected Track Team Captain in both high school and college. Being in sports served her well. She learned the value of teamwork, competition with others, but also against herself, always striving for her personal best. Now the mother of four, she's one heck of a kick-boxer. Why are there separations of the girls and boys teams in the first place? Ban all of it. If big girl wants to play football, suit her up and get her on the field. Wrestling? Get the lil lady in there and fudge-pack with the bulls. If boy wants to run girls track, let Her, and all the other full bodied Hims too. If we have lost the logic of gender separations, based on individual whim and desire, rather than how we are differently built and dis - or ad -vantaged biologically, then ANY separation becomes a moot point. NO separations. Not to play, not to pee, not to retreat or advance. We're all beings, gender is ephemeral, transient and irrelevant. That's the meaning of "is" (memo to Bill Clinton). California is adopting former Donald Trump's plan to thin out the state's 33 million acres of forests with controlled burns and raking the woodland floor —after state officials essentially laughed off the former president's idea a few years ago. Trump had suggested in 2018 that the Golden State start sweeping its forest floors of debris that often aids in the spread of wildfires. But by Aug. 2020, at the peak of the state's wildfire season, his suggestion became an ultimatum when he withheld wildfire financial aid on the basis of California's failure to clear its forests of dead trees, branches and leaves, Politico reported at the time.
