SURVEY: Most GOP Voters Still Strongly Back Trump; See Who’s No. 2

Original Article

As much as this disturbs the dwindling RINO and GOP establishment factions of the Republican Party, former President Donald Trump remains voters’ top pick for the White House in 2024, according to a new survey. The right-leaning Trafalgar Group also found a potential Trump successor should he decide one term was enough in D.C.: Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

Comments:

I voted for Trump twice, and would do so again. But he'll be 78 years old next cycle, same as Sleepy. It's time for the next generation, and DeSantis is fantastic.

I stated that fact to the RNC when the new round of letters begging for money began rolling in this year. Without Donald Trump the GOP is dead. DeSantis has a bright future but Donald Trump is the President now and all election fraud should have been rooted out and fixed before Joke Biden was inaugurated. They blew it with their cowardice and they will pay dearly.

While I voted for Trump twice and know absolutely that we would not be in the world of trouble we face internationally, on the border, re: the pipeline etc. were he President, plus do not for one second think Trump's speech caused "insurrection" (for one thing, this thing was apparently long planned and those who heard his speech could not have gotten to the Capitol in time for the chaos, nor do I think it was similar to 9/11 et al.....such nonsense) I can't forgive Trump for urging Georgia Republicans not to bother to vote in that Senate election: he put himself above the Party, and in this case it meant it directly landed us in the mess we are in in the Senate, having to HOPE Manchen and Cinnamon will not vote to abolishish the filibuster. We are gasping for air, and this is because Trump can't let up on the Presidential election (which I agree was stolen) and work from there. We are in real dire straits because we do not have a majority, however slim, and the damage being done often can not be undone. His ego is his most severe weak point, and it is affecting us now.

RE OP: There's 78 yrs old and then there’s 78 yrs old. Age is not always a determinant of mental acuities. My grandmother was 96 when she passed, but her mind was so sharp she could have won Jeopardy! President Trump at 78 could beat Dementia Joe with half his brain tied behind his back!!!

Watch for the GOP establishment to start chipping away at DeSantis. He's too strong and effective to be one of them. When the RNC asks for money I tell them they get nothing from me until they change their so-called "leadership".

Like Posters 1 and 7, I assayed to try to tell the RNC and the GOP how they were disinfranchasing me, but finally gave up because nothing ever changed. I have done the next best thing: I shred their CRAP before opening it. I have a wonderful shredder because it even shreds the stupid vanity ''Lifetime'' cards they often include in their begging letters. They can Go Fish!

I would like for Trump to be in office again. He can bring the country out of the destruction the democrats have caused. Age has nothing to do with it. He worked 18 to 20 hour days and took no pay. He also spoke with the press and took their "gotcha" questions each day. No one told him to hide out and not speak to the press. I don't care about his tweets, I care about all the good things he accomplished even with backstabbing and undermining from democrats. Trump is sharp and is a skilled business man. DeSantis is great and needs to keep Florida for another term. DeSantis is only 42 and has plenty of time to advance. He is a great governor and there is definitely a place for him and he will steer the country in the right direction like he has Florida.

About a week ago Cori Bush, a freshman congresswoman from the 1st district in Missouri, testified before her peers and was widely derided for using the term “birthing person” instead of mother or woman. Although there was much to mock in her talk, the press of both blue and red stripes missed the real message from Bush: if a doctor is at fault, it’s because of racism, not competence. In this installment of our weekly Sunday Six conversation, PF Whalen and Parker Beauregard of The Blue State Conservative examine six inane positions currently embraced by Democrats, and the appropriate reaction that should come from Republicans . PF: There is so much absurdity amongst Democrats, choosing just six isn’t easy; perhaps we should turn this effort into multiple segments, similar to your Flip-Flopping Dr. Anthony Fauci series. And it seems like a new silliness emerges every week, each more ludicrous than the next.

Did you know that the price of corn has risen 142 percent in the last 12 months? Of course corn is used in hundreds of different products we buy at the grocery store, and so everyone is going to feel the pain of this price increase. But it isn’t just the price of corn that is going crazy. We are seeing food prices shoot up dramatically all across the industry, and experts are warning that this is just the very beginning. So if you think that food prices are bad now, just wait, because they are going to get a whole lot worse.

There was a time not long ago when the word ‘bigot’ would have been defined as follows: A person who determines one’s humanity and value based on the color of their skin, their gender, or other inherent traits, and behaves accordingly. That definition applies perfectly to today’s Democratic Party. One’s skill set, experience, and competence are irrelevant for Democrats, whereas our skin color, genitalia, and sexual preference are paramount. Democrats are the very essence of bigotry, but they disguise their prejudice as wokeness and virtue-signaling. And while it must be

The letter, organized by former 'Anonymous' op-ed author Miles Taylor and former CIA officer Evan McMullin, mentions the ouster Wednesday of former GOP conference chair Rep. Liz Cheney. It raises the possibility of a complete break with the GOP and the creation of a third party in the face of what the signers term 'despotism.'

Colonial Pipeline Co. paid the group that hacked its pipeline a nearly $5 million ransom in untraceable cryptocurrency within hours of the cyberattack, two people familiar with the payment told Bloomberg on Thursday. The report contradicts Colonial’s public assertion that it did not pay the hacking group Darkside ransom following the cyberattack. A third person familiar with the ransom said the U.S. government is aware Colonial paid Darkside. Colonial declined Bloomberg‘s request for comment. The attack forced Colonial to temporarily shut down much of its services, causing gas shortages and rising prices across the east coast.

Last month, the faculty senate at Pennsylvania State University passed a resolution urging the school to erase certain words from its lexicon, due to the supposedly problematic legacy of the “typically male-centered world” out of which the terms grew. The resolution aims at gendered pronouns such as “he/him/his” and “she/her/hers,” but it also demonizes the four iconic terms for a person’s years in college (and, often, high school): “freshman,” “sophomore,” “junior,” and “senior.” “The University, as with most all academic institutions world-wide, has grown out of a typically male-centered world. As such, many terms in our lexicon carry a strong, male-centric,

Herman Melville’s novel Moby Dick is one the finest books ever written for many reasons, but the main theme is obsession. The captain of the whale ship Pequod is obsessed with hunting down and killing the white whale, the giant mammal that cost the captain his leg. Despite his having lost the last battle with the whale, Ahab is filled with a terrible resolve that is frustrated by his megalomania, his hubris and overconfidence. (snip) Doesn’t that character description sound exactly like Liz Cheney, just-ousted from her House GOP Caucus leadership slot? She is obsessed, overconfident and hubristic to the point of insanity.
