Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò said an upcoming global health conference at the Vatican—with guests such as Dr. Anthony Fauci, Deepak Chopra and Chelsea Clinton—constitutes “the umpteenth scandalous confirmation” of Pope Francis leading the Catholic Church astray. A new op-ed by the Catholic Church’s former Apostolic Nuncio to the U.S. blasts the pope and his allies within the Church for betraying the faithful by cozying up to “representatives of Big Tech… a whole slew of abortionists, Malthusians, and globalists known to the general public.” “The Holy See has deliberately renounced the supernatural mission of the Church, making itself the servant of the New World Order and Masonic globalism

Pope Francis just in the last w eek opposes the inclusion of anti-family, anti-life wording in a UN document where the US, Canada, Australia, Mexico wanted to stuff abortion and LGBT into a document about food security (EYEROLL). I think Vigano is wrong. To me, the issue of our time is Big Racism, people who talk cuddly about POCs but are dedicated to steering demography to reduce POCs role in the future, and Pope Francis is opposing that. Pope Francis is strong where it counts, and those who weaken him are listening to some wrong voice somewhere. The Holy Father, who is as always right on faith and morals though no better than fifty percent on science and politics. His job is faith and morals, there he is a reliable compass, and anyone who weakens him is pulling the pillars down.

#3, this pontiff is political. And IMHO, he does a lot of "show boating." The pope's function is to protect and defend the perennial, Magisterial teachings of the RCC. Period. He has scandalized Catholics and other Christians with his mixed messages. He has said we need to obey the United Nations, which supports abortion and population control. Under this pontiff, pro-abortion, population control advocates like Paul Ehlrich have been invited to to the Vatican. Francis supports "global climate change." It's diabolical. But that's how Satan works. He mixes lies in with truths to fool people.

I agree totally with Archbishop Viganò. I too am a lifelong practicing Catholic and I have stopped hoping that Pope Francis was simply misquoted or statements were "lost in translation. This is just one thing and no matter his motives the optics scream his acquiescence to the big "reset," If anyone is interested, please look up Crisis Magazine online. It is written by the Catholic Faithful and the articles and essay's are terrific. Almost daily, there is an article about Pope Francis that gets to the heart of what he is doing. Believe me, many there are very perplexed about what is going on, and they don't leave any subject untouched. The comments after the articles are always written by thoughtful and articulate readers. They remind me often of posters who post here.

The true Pope has been held prisoner by the Vatican. Benedict has been held in captivity by the Socialist South American. Many years of both good/bad Catholic schooling removed scales from my eyes. The Jesuits can be good but words and actions are twisted by evil and this Pope is just that. :( Glad there is some pushback. On a lighter note , give "Death of Michael Corleone" a watch. If it wasn’t the bicycle license, it could have been the lack of helmets. Or the front lights. Or the rear lights. The viral video of Perth Amboy police officers confiscating bikes from a group of mostly Black and Hispanic teens and putting one of them in handcuffs this week renewed debate over the role police officers should play in enforcing low-level offenses like bicycle ordinances. Some viewers saw a group of young people behaving recklessly. Others saw overreach after the officers informed them they were violating an obscure local ordinance requiring licenses for bicycles and seized four of their bikes.

Wind and solar energy are both essentially obsolete technologies. There is a reason why only the very rich or the very adventurous sail across oceans: the wind is unreliable, and at best produces relatively little energy. Nevertheless, liberals have concocted fantasies whereby all of our electricity, or perhaps our entire economy, will be powered by those fickle sources. There are a number of reasons why this will never happen, but a paper published last week by Center of the American Experiment argues that land use constraints are the most basic reason why wind and solar are inexorably destined to fail. In that regard, she’s just another leftist politician. What’s bizarre about Kamala is her inappropriate laughter about things that ought to inspire solemnity. What makes laughter inappropriate? It’s inappropriate when you’re speaking to a crowd and you’re the only one who laughs. Of course, that can also happen to a bad comedian, but there’s no indication in the clip below that Kamala was trying to tell a joke.

Simple statistical analysis should suffice to inform one’s ultimate decision. Statistics is primarily a study of probabilities. Fortunately, as regards COVID mortality rates, these probabilities are now known. That is, COVID mortality statistics broken down by age cohorts are now “known knowables.” For example, through statistics as of April 7, the odds an American under the age of 25 would die from COVID were 1-in-106,217.
