American tourists who are fully vaccinated will be allowed to visit Europe this summer, one of the EU's top bosses has said. Tourists from the United States will finally be allowed to vacation in Europe after more than a year of closures while the European Union hailed progress the United States has made in its COVID-19 vaccine drive.(Snip) According to The New York Times, officials in the European Union and United States have been in ongoing technical discussions 'on how to practically and technologically make vaccine certificates from each place broadly readable so that citizens can use them to travel without restrictions.'

Comments:

See? There's no requirement for anyone to take the experimental gene therapy they're pushing so hard. You're free to choose not to take it, but then you'll be banned from certain activities and venues that are available to Vaccinated-Americans. Land of the free, home of the brave; that's us!

Before the virus hit I planned to travel to Italy and France this year. Not sure whether I’ll go this year since I don’t want the trip marred by any virus nonsense. I’m vaccinated so that isn’t an issue. I had hoped that the Europeans, who usually aren’t health hysterics as Americans tend to be, would handle the pandemic more realistically. Outside of Sweden that hasn’t been the case.

Twenty retired French generals have called for military rule if Emmanuel Macron fails to halt the 'disintegration' of the country 'at the hands of Islamists', in an open letter published ahead of next year's presidential election. The open letter, published in Valeurs Actuelles, a right-wing news magazine, claims a military coup might be necessary to stop a 'civil war' in France. The letter has been condemned by Macron's government, who compared it to the failed coup by generals against President de Gaulle 60 years ago. However, far-right National Rally leader Marine Le Pen hailed the letter, which was signed by 80 other retired officers,

Footage shared by the Detectives’ Endowment Association showed the cop standing outside the crime scene and taking notes near some broken glass—when a man holding two long white sticks crept up behind him.(Snip) Akeele Morgan, 25, of the Bronx, was arrested not far from the scene
