In a sad and unfortunate situation, another person has been shot by police. This time it was a teenager who was in the middle of a fight. However, this video shows the person who was shot, teen Ma’Khia Bryant, appears to pull what looks like a knife on a girl wearing pink. Bryant's arm appears in a stabbing motion. Despite protests and calls for justice against the officer, the officers body cam shows the knife, in swinging motion, and the reason he pulled the trigger. CORRECTION*

Another episode that will end badly for Police. Stop calling on them to solve your problems, and that will solve THEIR problems. No more police interference, no more racist white cops showing up in Black

The author is either stupid, disingenuous, or both. The deceased had a knife, not something that looked like a knife, in hand and was aggressively attacking to other females. While it's possible she was trying to scare the other girls, the officer didn't have time to debate the subject while she was in the act of attacking a person who was in a purely defensive mode. The officer put his future and freedom on the line in acting to save a black female. I hope our "system" doesn't cause him to regret acting, rather than spectating.

If he hadn't shot her, they would be protesting that police allowed the stabbing to happen. Just consider last year's BLM protests in Tallahassee, Florida. Some were protesting the shooting of Tony McDade who stabbed Malik Jackson [who died], while some of them were protesting that the police didn't do enough to prevent the stabbing. Then the organizer of the protest, Toyn Salau, came up missing and was found to have been raped, tortured, and murdered by a black ex-con, Aaron Glee Jr. So then, the protest switched to protesting against how the police didn't do enough to prevent that, but ''black lives matter''.

Here we go again. Racist Valerie Jarrett called it a "knife fight". I thought it took two people with knives to have a knife fight, not just one person.

Fortunately, the victim he saved was also black.

I once arbitrated a police officer discipline case - he was fired for using his pistol on a fleeing felon - and in my summary and conclusions of the award (I ruled in favor of the police officer) I pointed out that had he not pursued and shot, I could be writing an award in the case where he was fired for failing to do so.
This case of shooting the girl is as clear a justified shooting as one can get. The NACP should be applauding the officer, Ben Crump should be high-fiving the officer, Al Sharpton should buy lunch for the officer, and the Congressional Black Caucus members should introduce a resolution honoring the courage.

Hold on! That was a mostly peaceful knife.
The policeman should have done what movie and TV sheriffs do - - just shot the knife from her hand - - without hurting anyone. "Next time I won't just wing you."

As we all learned yesterday, there is no real justice in this country any more.
If I am a cop, and I come on a scene with a black perp killing other black people, I am driving on by. You can not do your job in that situation, so why try and probably end up in prison?!?!?!?
Of course, if I were a cop yesterday, I would have resigned and wouldn't be a cop today. It's just not worth it any more!!!

Why do we not hear from the "girl in pink," who was the intended victim of the attacker's knife?
Would she thank a police officer for saving her life?
Or, would she express dismay that she didn't get stabbed that day?
The lib airways are filled with everybody who wasn't there's opinion.
But nothing from her.

The left-wing propaganda will stop at nothing to foment racial hatred. There is no situation in which a cop kills as black perpetrator that cannot be twisted to accuse the police of racism. Perhaps, it the "victim" had been holding a machine gun and firing indiscriminately into the crowd, the officer would avoid prosecution. Or should I say "persecution."

The now dead girl was in the midst of committing a violent felony crime when the police officer shot and killed her. What was the officer supposed to do, just sit in his patrol car and watch?

"Hero white officer saves the life of black teen girl".
During a vicious assault with a large knife, a police officer was forced to shoot a violent attacker to save the life of a Columbus teenaged girl.
THAT'S the real story here. Watch the video. The cop did it exactly right, and in a very difficult situation, without hitting the victim of the attack, not trivial in such a turbulent, violent, rapidly moving attack situation.

You can clearly see the knife in swinging motion as the officer saves the girl in pink. Twitter blue-checks ignored it and used story to push a narrative, despite cop saving the other girl.
