Neighbor defends Columbus cop who shot girl with knife; 'It was violent and all just happened so fast.'

A neighbor who witnessed the Columbus police officer shoot teenage Ma'Khia Bryant as she lunged towards another girl with a knife came out in defense of the cop, suggesting there might be two victims if the cop hadn't responded so fast. The neighbor's name is Donavon Brinson and he lives across the street from the foster home. He saw some girls run out and heard all the commotion, so of course he just had to see what it was all about, as reported. "They were calling each other the B-word so I figured it was just a girl fight," Brinson said. He went inside. Then the police arrived...

Comments:

What else is the cop supposed to do? He has a job to protect and serve and that's exactly what he did. Good thing the neighbor has some common sense, unlike Democrats and some mainstream media pushing their anti-cop narrative nonsense.

We are making this situation to complicated. White cop shoots black (for any reason) bad cop. Time to loot and burn down Target. Black person attacks and injures or kills another black person this is not a problem. EVERYONE on the left is totally onboard with ignoring such evil. The biggest threat to the lives of blacks everywhere is being harmed by another black person. But it was a black woman who called the police and many of the black neighbors are saying the police officer had no choice. I suggest these people will now need to be doxed and then cancelled because they are not living up to the code of black on black crime. I guess they should have not called the police and let that girl kill as many people as she wanted to. So don't call the police and just let nature take its course. For whatever reason violence runs rampant in the black community and it is their first choice to settle any argument no matter how small.

Just a guess, but it could be that some of these scenes are created for videos to be put on youtube? And things get out of hand?

Re: #4 - That thought plagued me after I saw the body cam video a several times and was thinking of things that could trip up an officer who had just been involved in a classic shoot, one in which the justification and urgency is overwhelmingly obvious. I initially thought that the girl in pink reacted and moved a bit odd. The 90th percentile person is going to react when a knife is flashed by moving to create distance, which the pink girl appeared fully capable of doing sufficient to stay out of reach of the knife. It also appeared that MaKhia passed on following through on cutting white shorts girl when she had her on the ground in a vulnerable position. That some part of this could have been staged for a Youtube video is not out of the realm of possibility. If pink girl was not in any actual danger, the hind site industry experts will challenge the use of deadly force in an effort to punish the officer and extort taxpayer money.

The only person in that gang that I admire - - is the guy who kicked the girl in the head - - after he knocked her to the sidewalk. Social scientists and clinical psychologists have long known - - that a kick in the head is the best way to get the attention of someone who is being overly aggressive. It's the physical equivalent of saying, "Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth." That young man is a true Christian - - if there ever was one. And the young lady - - in addition to a big lump on the back of her skull - - has been shown the true road to salvation.

Hope the media, race hustlers, BLM, ANTIFA,and other activists don't turn their ire on the neighor for defending the police officers actions. His comments do not fit their narrative and he will be seen as a race traitor for speaking the truth.

BLM storms Oklahoma Capitol over GOP bills, where's the media outrage? 8 replies

Protesters shouting "Black Lives Matter" stormed the Oklahoma Capitol this week and there doesn't seem to be much outrage or mass coverage from the mainstream media. Nothing like what we saw on January 6 when people called Trump supporters insurrectionists. Aren't these protesters doing something similar? Isn't it an insurrection when BLM storms a Capitol, or does that not fit in the liberal mainstream media's narrative. Fox News covered it in detail, providing information as to why the protesters stormed the Capitol and a confrontation that broke out having two men face-to-face. Demonstrators chanting "Black Lives Matter" stormed the Oklahoma Capitol on Wednesday, forcing the state House of Representatives into lockdown...

House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn was fined $5,000 Friday for bypassing the metal detectors before walking on the floor. The House Ethics committee released a statement, saying Clyburn had been fined and that he has appealed the fine. The House installed magnetometers in early January and require all members of Congress to walk through them before entering the chamber after rioters supporting Trump stormed the U.S. capitol, committing acts of vandalism and violence. Clyburn denied breaking House rules to CNN, saying: “I have no idea,” adding: “It’s just somebody on the other side trying to cause mischief.” For a first-time offense, the fine is $5,000, a second-time offense is $10,000.

Small businesses in Illinois, where taxes are among the highest in the nation, stand to benefit from a state senator’s legislation to alter tax deductions. The legislation passed the Senate on Thursday. The bill utilizes an IRS-approved method to allow pass-through entities to bypass the $10,000 cap on the State and Local Tax, or SALT, deduction. The sponsor of the bill, state Sen. Win Stoller, R-Germantown Hills, said the legislation has the potential to help up to 400,000 Illinois business owners save thousands of dollars annually on their federal tax filings.

Images obtained by Fox News shows the ads cartels are using on social media apps like TikTok, where they offer more than $3,000 a ride for teens and young adults to come drive smuggled migrants into the U.S. when they reach the border. "Need 2 or 3 drivers to go through a checkpoint," one says. "Got another 6 left, already crossed. Lemme know ASAP for that easy cash," another says. CORRECTION*
