In a highly disrespectful and embarrassing move, Kamala Harris welcomed Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga to the White House on Friday.Joe Biden was nowhere to be found as Kamala Harris welcomed Yoshihide Suga, the first foreign leader to visit the Biden White House. But it was way worse than we originally reported. No one met Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga at the door when he arrived. The only one standing there was a stationary Army guard.Compare and contrast: (Tweet/Video)

Traitor Joe was down for a nap, and the California Hyena is too dim to even grasp what the niceties of meeting a head of state actually are.
I hope Japan is speeding up their development of nuclear weapons. They are going to need them very soon. Perhaps they can sell a few to Taiwan, or maybe have a joint program. Both are going to be at great risk from the ChiComs soon.

This makes my stomach churn. Obviously it's not an oversight, but what's the reasoning behind it? Is it a way of demonstrating what the pecking order will be now with Big Tough Joe? Or maybe it's not really thought out--it's just how such things will be dealt with. I hope at least there were clean towels and some bottled water available.

The prime Minister and his lovely wife had the best possible reception, at least in this regime...two Marines at attention.

O'l Joe wasn't cognizant enough to know you don't put your shoes and socks on in that order let alone how much to greet a prime minister from one of our friends. Then you have a low level less than intelligent person who made her bones by riding one fill in to further insult a foreign leader.
And we are told the adults are back in charge with eighty million voters supporting him.
Right.

The "Big Guy" lost face in Asia and other parts of the world with his shabby treatment of the Japanese Prime Minister and his wife, you can bet on that. But the "Big Guy" does not care, as he knows that the politicized US media will ignore all that.

If any LDotters know anyone who knows anyone who knows anyone in Japan, please convey our apologies.
So the question is: was this an oversight, or deliberate?
(My vote: deliberate. They are not that dumb.)
PS: I LOATHE all of them.

To LDotters: there are now six distinct US military branches. In order of seniority they are: Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and Space Force.
Except in the preference of some people, the Marines are fourth in line.
The subject line of the article clearly says “...Army Guard. “

Sir, what do you want? I'm here as Prime Minister of Japan to meet your President. Well sir, He's taking a nap, he does it every day between 1 and 7, then he gets up, eats dinner, signs more executive orders and goes back to bed. I suggest you come back tomorrow at 10am, that's when he wakes up and is sorta lucid!

To add to #12's post, there are career State Department people who handle every tiny detail of such visits.
This had to be an intentional snub. And the Japanese do not take kindly to snubs - a loss of face by the Prime Minister could bring down a government.

One has to assume that the Bidet amateur hour was told by the Chinese how to 'receive' the Japanese delegation. Perhaps they sent an extra check to his son seeing that his book was a bust.
Of course the commander in thief bowed to the superior wisdom of the Chinese and we are witnessing the result. We can only hope he had a good rest for several hours.
Let's see if anyone from the 'press' will ask that red @itch about it!

This is not hard to figure out or believe.
Before WWII, Japan and China were enemies and Japan was kicking their butts. Neither were friends of the U.S. but over time, China has bought and paid for, the Democrat Party, the media and much of industry. So it's no wander the Prime Minister of Japan was shunned by this administration. Joe was making a point.
Don't forget, that Obama did the same thing with Britain, sending Winston Churchill's bust back to Britain, for a similar reason; Britain's occupation of parts of Africa.
Even though it sounds justified, it is very petty, small and immature.

Why are they having foreign leaders visit if they don't know how to handle them. Or is this an intentional snub. I have never seen anything like this except as mentioned, Obola with the Dalai Llama having to go in thru the back door and Netanyahu had to cool his heels while Obola ate dinner.

With his brains and finesse I wouldn’t be surprised if the bozo Biden had come out to meet the PM and his wife, said “Ah so” and tried to sell them a used Hyundai or raised his pant leg to show them his leg hair and then invited her in for some Top Ramen and a hair sniff.

This was just as bad as our friend the Dalai Lama leaving the Obama WH via the backdoor by the trash bags to be picked up by the garbage men. This was in 2010 and you can see a picture of his exit in the New York Post.
If this is how we treat our true allies (except for our slave owning friends in China) who needs enemies?
