The Biden administration declared a national emergency on Thursday, slapping sanctions on more than three dozen people in Russia and expelling 10 diplomats, in an about-face after the US reversed course of two warships heading to the Black Sea.
President Biden signed an executive order detailing Russia’s actions in the SolarWinds cyber-intrusion and its interference in the election, accusing the Kremlin of working to “undermine the conduct of free and fair democratic elections and democratic institutions in the United States and its allies and partners,” according to a statement from the White House.

I’m trying to make sense of these decisions, but not even close to succeeding. What on earth are Biden and his minions trying to do? Confuse the Russians? Paralyze them with laughter?

#2, It appears to me that Biden and his minions are trying to maintain the "Russia, Russia, Russia collusion" narrative. But their narratives are built on lies. I believe things will backfire eventually. I just don't know what that will look like. But the confusion Biden is sowing is making this country look weak and indecisive. And that can only embolden China and Russia.

We were warned. Robert Gates' assessment of Herr Biden: Joe Biden has been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades. Forty years of terrible judgment !

Biden is not making these decisions. He's too incompetent to begin to comprehend the complexities of these decisions. It's probable that the individuals who are making these decisions will be weaker regarding Russia than either Jimmy Carter or Obama. Russia is well aware of this and will do as it pleases. Thus far neither NATO, Europe nor any other group or entity appear to be pushing back against Russia.

Who ordered the 2 US Navy ships into the Black Sea and who ordered them to turn back? Did Biden order the Navy to send the destroyers as a show of force move only to be overruled by Susan Rice on orders from Obama? Did the Navy high command make the reversal decision based on not wanting to expose two surface ships to Russian aircraft, warships, anti-ship missiles and attack submarines based in the Crimea peninsula? Who decided and and who countermanded the initial order and why?
Our Commander in Chief has dementia, so who is actually in charge?

This administration has cried, "Emergency" so many times over non-emergent matters that nobody believes them. And the things that are a real threat . . . then they are silent. Our enemies are laughing at Biden. They see his administration's desperation in passing their agendas.
When is his stupid base going to get it?

We aren't going to war with Russia. There is no appetite for a war in the US or NATO. Worse, we have a weak administration and a military hell bent on removing extremist warriors, i.e. real men with testosterone. And replacing them with gender confused betas.

Biden could not look any weaker than him sending two USN destroyers into the Black Sea near the Russian border without any support, especially in the air, and then ordering those two destroyers to retreat out of the Black Sea altogether. Biden’s biggest mistake so far was ordering the two warships into the Black Sea in the first place.
Clearly the Russians currently have more than enough military power to invade and take over the Russian speaking and Russia supporting areas of Ukraine anytime they wish. Even before that, Biden put himself in a position where it looks to the leaders of countries adversarial to the USA that Putin already has Biden on the run before the military balloon has even gone up.
The European Union and NATO, especially France and Germany, are not about to fight a shooting war against Russia on behalf of Ukraine. The best Allie that the USA has in Europe, the UK, will no longer have the capacity to fight any sort of ground war in the Ukraine, as the UK is no doubt weary of fighting future shooting wars in Europe, as they are in the midst of reducing and restructuring the British Army into almost a wholly Special Forces type operation. When it comes to the USA, not too many of Biden’s supporters will rally to his side, except maybe Alexander Vindman, when Biden strikes up a merry by encouraging their daughters and sons to join Biden’s rainbow flag carrying armed forces to go and fight for Ukraine. Biden had better wake up, as if there is a national emergency along any border that should involve the USA, it is the USA-Mexico borderline and not the borderline between Ukraine and Russia.

Would the Russian army pull back from the Ukraine border if Biden threatened to have US Army surgeons perform emergency transgender surgery on all captured soldiers? At US taxpayer expense, of course. Or worse, blast the sounds of Kamala Harris’ bizarre laughter at the assembled invasion force?

A national emergency on a foreign border but not on our own. I’m sure that Putin told Xiden to back off and that’s why the ships were moved.

And the US national interest in the Ukraine is...what? Read Washington's Farewell. As pointed out by #15 noted , "The European Union and NATO, especially France and Germany, are not about to fight a shooting war against Russia on behalf of Ukraine." So, the USA should do exactly what? Why?

Wow! Biden sees "election interference?" Where? In his own country? Against who? Perhaps he should invoke Trump's September 2018 executive order. Things are getting interesting.
