The co-founder of Black Lives Matter has found a personal solution for the big black crime wave that she has done so much to instigate. From Dirt, a real estate website: Black Lives Matter Co-Founder Patrisse Khan-Cullors Lands Topanga Canyon Compound (Snip)$1.4 mil is cheap for a house in Topanga Canyon, so it’s not luxurious. The amusing thing is that Topanga Canyon is culturally the whitest spot in the Los Angeles area: it’s been a semi-rural hippie enclave for bohemian artists since the 1960s. (Snip)But it’s perhaps the safest non-gated community in Los Angeles County for staying far, far away from black crime.

Comments:

No surprise that the founder/leader of a rioting group of anarchists would want to be tucked away...

It does seem odd that a ''trained Marxist'' would live in a $1.4 million home. The central housing committee could have housed over a 170 families with those resources.

$1.4 million for a house in Topanga Canyon is the cheapest one in the whitest of white areas. I guess you could say this BLM founder is the victim of "white racism". Even moving to a white area blacks are not protected from living on the wrong side of the tracks. BTW...Watch out for those brush fires...they can get nasty. You did make a donation so the fire Department will remember to even bother to put out your burning house...didn't you?

Those old enough to remember the Cold War will recall, perhaps with some prompting, that the fight with the Soviets was as much a moral war as a political one. It was not that the communists were in error about some item in dispute. The communists were immoral because communism was immoral. Whatever the faults of liberal democracy, it was morally superior to the evils of communist totalitarianism. (Snip) this was not a tough case to make. Americans could speak out against the government, while Russians had to suffer in silence.(Snip) A generation later and the roles are not exactly reversed, but it is now possible to argue that Russians are freer

A day after gutting restrictions on abortion pills that studies have shown carry significant risks for women, the Food and Drug Administration called for states to halt the use of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine due to six cases of women developing a rare blood clot within two weeks of receiving the dose. As of today, an estimated 7 million Americans have received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. The two abortifacient drugs on which the FDA loosened restrictions are mifepristone and misoprostol. On Monday, acting FDA Commissioner Janet Woodcock instructed the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists that providers will be permitted to administer the drugs through telemedicine, as well

The content of the story is less important than the network within it. The New York Times writes a story about John Durham issuing subpoenas to the Brookings Institute for records of Igor Danchenko’s work there. Danchenko was Chris Steele’s primary sub-source for the infamous Steele Dossier. (Snip) The issue of import with the story today is not about the content of the Danchenko work while inside the Brookings group, but rather how the leak from Brookings to the New York Times about the subpoena begins to unravel the Lawfare network. The Lawfare group are largely funded by The Brookings Institute. Brookings is largely funded by the Chinese.

The JoeBama administration are pathetic in their manipulation of policy. After taking apart the Trump agreement with central American nations (Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador) to secure their own northern border the mass migration toward the United States began…. a crisis created. However, once the crisis turns public opinion against them, the JoeBama administration then proposes to return to the exact same policy President Trump initiated and Biden destroyed. The White House and the media then herald the return of the Trump agreement as a groundbreaking new policy initiative instituted by JoeBama. It would be funny, if it were not so ridiculous to watch it in real time.

In the maelstrom spurred by lies about Georgia’s voting law, woke corporations again endeavored zealously to virtue signal for the Left. Echoing and acting upon the Left’s deliberate disinformation campaign—including, notably, President Biden’s infamous “Jim Crow on steroids” doggerel—Coke, Delta, Major League Baseball, and sundry others excoriated the Peach State’s new statutory liberalization of voting procedures. In an interesting twist, these “free-market” entities, which are often threatened with boycotts from the Left, demanded the cancellation of an entire state. Ostensibly, this spasm of woke corporate extortion was largely wrought by the requirement for voter ID. Poll of the week: A new Reuters/Ipsos poll finds that 55% of Republicans falsely believe Joe Biden's victory in the 2020 presidential election was the result of illegal voting or rigging. Additionally, 60% of Republicans incorrectly agree that the election was stolen from Republican Donald Trump. These polls are the latest to indicate that Republicans mistakenly think that the 2020 election wasn't legitimate, when it clearly was. What's the point: Republicans have been pushing legislation at the state level to make voting at least somewhat more difficult than it was for the 2020 election. This has come in the wake of polls showing many Republicans doubt the election result. It is unclear

The words “epic” or “magnificent” are becoming cliched because they’re constantly used as clickbait headlines for things that are anything but “epic” or “magnificent.” That’s a shame because both words apply with their original force to Tucker Carlson’s opening monologue on Monday night. He brought both logic and passion to explaining that the Democrat party’s open borders policy is deliberately intended to import people who will vote for Democrats. In hindsight, what he said is completely obvious but too few people think about illegal immigration in the terms Tucker did. More must if we are to preserve our liberty-oriented, merit-based, constitutional republic.
