America's top health agency has rowed back on a bold claim made by its director that 'vaccinated people do not carry the virus'.
Dr Rochelle Walensky, chief of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, said in a TV interview this week: 'Vaccinated people do not carry the virus, don't get sick, and that is not just in the clinical trials but it's also in real world data.'
The CDC has now distanced itself from her claim, issuing a statement saying that 'the evidence isn't clear' and its director was 'speaking broadly'.(Snip) Dr Walensky's comments are not backed by evidence that the Pfizer

Does anyone still have any doubt that all our "health experts" really don't know squat about this virus? I now completely dismiss anything they say as being politically motivated mumbo-jumbo. And frequently the exact opposite of what they said last time.

I feel that what she said was probably true. But the power hungry dems are not having any of it. So they yanked her choker chain and pulled her back into the pool of BS media crap. After hitting her on the nose with a rolled up NY Times she relented and begged for forgiveness and restated the "facts". This will never end. It will never be good enough. Power, control, money. They are all asshats and they delight in having their foot on our necks.

Sorry for the second post, but I want to be precise about how inept, dishonest, and unscientific our health experts have been. They have now had more than a year to scientifically study not just the virus itself but all of the protocols they have been recommending and imposing on all of us.
Well, where the heck are the tests on masks? Social distancing (how far, indoor/outdoor)? Virus persistence on objects/clothing? Jeez, you'd think this was still 1621 instead of 2021. It wouldn't surprise me at all if they suddenly suggested that blood-sucking leeches should be tried next as a potential remedy. The complete lack of scientific rigor is damning not just on our political class but on the entire medical and healthcare profession as well.

They CAN'T have people believing that there is no way for their fascist, evil permanent lockdown. There can NEVER be any cure, no matter what.

Interesting that whenever Walensky blurts out the truth, it's dismissed as her personal opinion and doesn't reflect the "experts"; e.g, "schools can safely reopen", "vaccinated people don't carry the virus". Look for her to be transferred to the border.

In any vaccination program the effects must be viewed from the perspective to the total population and not any one individual (or even a "small" number). The spread of the virus is determined by its "R" value which is never zero but can fall below 1 when the rate of infection is falling in the population. As long as the vaccine suppresses the R value below one the probability of getting the virus is very small and the risk of illness is negligible. Yes, some people might be unlucky enough to contact an infected person but it doesn't spread as long as the "herd" in generally immune. Don't let the perfect become the enemy of the good.

It seems that the CDC has positioned itself on every possible side of Covid issues depending on what day it is or which way the political wind is blowing. There have been so many contradictory positions taken, that their positions have become meaningless.

It is referred to as gene therapy in much of the scientific and pharmaceutical literature. So arguing about the merits of vaccination do not apply and that is why so much makes no sense. This is not a fully-tested, honestly peer reviewed “vaccine.” It remains to be seen what it REALLY is doing to bodies especially the younger folks. God help us.

This is a flat out lie being told .the CDC is nothing but lieing. Here about a couple of weeks ago there was an article in my local paper talking about (Breakthrough covid cases) It is where people that has had both shots and within a few weeks or a month or so had gotten the Covid again. Our local health dept. told the CDC about what was happening and they said they were really concerned. It told of quite of few cases of it to.So this Dr.Walensky is flat out lieing to the public. That's why you are to wear you masks and distance your self forever. When there are no long term studies these Idiots don't have a clue.

Like most of the population in this country, I received childhood vaccinations for polio, mumps and measles. No one has suggested that we might be carriers of these diseases. Since 1985 Rotary International, later joined by the World Health Organization, has been systematically eliminating polio from the world. Only a few remote and politically difficult areas of Afghanistan and Pakistan remain to be vaccinated. Obviously, previously vaccinated healthcare workers delivering the vaccine were not carriers.
