During a press briefing, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki revealed that Joe Biden is “absolutely” committed to nominating a Black woman to the Supreme Court.During his campaign, Biden promised to put a Black woman on the nation’s highest court in order to appeal to the critical race theorists of the Democrat Party. The campaign promise was put in the spotlight as a reporter asked Psaki if the Biden team was considering giving favorable chances to political nominees of certain skin color.Biden’s campaign pandering came back to the spotlight after he released his first federal judicial picks, a group of 11 attorneys

He was in high gear pandering on the first day when he announced his candidacy. Like LBJ he wanted to ride the black/liberal vote all the way.

Yeah, that’s the ticket. Let’s put people on the Supreme Court who apparently as a group are incapable of getting a photo ID. Atlas is gettin’ ready to shrug again.

Given the current “supreme” court, he might as well stick Stacy Abrams in there. She will be a fit complement to the “wise” Latina.

Yup, doesn't matter if the applicant has any brains, experience, education, common sense, work experience as long as they are female and black. He should be kicked it the arse for even saying that.

Maxine Waters or maybe that Lee woman from Texas. They are true exemplars of the spirit of the age and would be confirmed with at least half a dozen "conservative" senators' approval (of course all the demonrats would approve because "equity" and, of course, "raysist")

I know it probably won't happen, but I'd love to see a black woman justice who "grows in office" and becomes a solid conservative. Remember Justice Souter who was supposed to be conservative and then turned squishy? Just flip that.

Trying to come up with one black woman that is qualified to sit on the Supreme Court. Don't know any. The article does not list any potential candidates which is telling. There are some competent black women out there (Condoleeza Rice comes to mind), but their expertise is not law. The only female black judges I know of are on the court TV shows. Doubt they qualify. There are some black AGs out there (the lady in Baltimore comes to mind), but they would be train wrecks. Can anyone name even one black woman that would be qualified to sit on the Supreme Court? Have to imagine there are some out there, but don't know of any.
Somebody should ask what qualifications they are looking for. We don't need some angry entitled hateful black woman that behaves like a Marxist on the Supreme Court.

It's a not-so-subtle message to Breyer to pack his bags so Dems can rush a radical justice onto the Court. There's no guarantee the 50-50 split in the Senate will hold up for two years. They could lose control of the committees on short notice.

Of course Biden wants to nominate and appoint the first Black woman to the Supreme Court. That would add anther notch onto his list of FIRSTS. Once again, Biden is more interested in diversity hires and always hiring the "first" of some protected class to be in some position of power. It does not matter if they are highly qualified or not. It's not what they know, it's who they know that gets them there. No matter what, Many of Biden's appointees will always be seen as only diversity hires there to make certain classes of people feel good about themselves.
