Disillusioned staffers are abandoning embattled Gov. Cuomo, sources said.
“I hear that most people aren’t even coming into work, and the offices at the Capitol are empty,” said one well-placed insider in touch with staffers in recent days.
“He’ll fight and fight and fight, but the staffers I’ve talked to are ready for him to hang up the gloves. Everyone feels like there is an inevitable conclusion — I mean at some point will Biden call on him to step down? They [staffers] just want this torture to stop.”
Rebellion in the ranks deepened

Stepping down would be acknowledging his guilt.
Something a libnut wacko will never do.

Despise The Godfather. But he's a Choir Boy compared to Slick Willie. So why is Slick still held in high regard by the dims.

You know, there's a silver lining to everything. If Cuomo's lackeys aren't showing up for work, then they can't be creating more havoc for the good, hard working people of New York (whatever few they are in number).

No pay for not showing up. NY will notice they don't need them. Cuomo can easily replace them. They will only be out of a job. The tumult is fun to watch, as they are all despised leftists, of no use to anybody, and do nothing because they cannot, so have to get into other people's business to survive.

It's not the futility, it's the near-certainty of getting assaulted. Who wants to be known as Cuomo's last gropee?

I do not want to see him step down. I want him prosecuted for the death of those elderly that he actually murdered. They (democrats) are trying to divert attention from the COVID massacre in nursing facilities to a #metoo tragedy. Don't fall for it!!! The COVID massacre needs to be front and center. This is the only way that we can take down the other governors that did the same exact thing (PA, NJ, MI, CA, etc). The COVID massacre is bigger than Cuomo.

But what about the thousands of nursing home patients Cuomo had killed???!!!!

A deal will surely be cut: You step down and we will drop the murder of nursing home patients case at the DOJ.
Screwing over all the families that deserve justice for the death of their loved ones. That is how the democrats roll.
Lie, cheat, steal and murder....when you get caught, you only have to step down from your cushy job...no risk of prison time.

What’s the big fuss about, my gosh he’s Italian. They will always love women.
Look at Frank and Dean.. no one ever raised a finger at their love of the other sex.
Cuomo will be headlines for a few weeks and disappear.
What happens in New York should stay in New York.

If working conditions were so bad, why did they stay on the job or tell someone what was going on? This is just another #metoo party.

Are these no-show ''staffers'' Essential Workers or Non-Essential* Workers? Will they sue the state for more pay or reparations? (They've declared themselves non-essential workers by not showing up.)
This stepping-down meme is just a shiny object to keep people from focusing on the Nursing Home COVID deaths. PS. Pennsylvania should not rest easy, either.

Looks like Obie's got him. Just a matter of time now before Coma winds up in a courtroom on child molestation and rape charges. But, first, Coma, the resignation letter, please.

What happened? Six months ago he was going to receive the equivalent of an Academy Award and win a democrat slot for the next presidency now this. Since Bill Clinton I thought groping and sex at the work place was nothing to be frowned on now metoo has struck the left with a hammer blow. Sound the alarm send in CNN to save the day for Cuomo.

Agree with #10. Cuomo is not resigning now in order to have a bargaining chip to avoid prosecution for misconduct, of any type, nursing home or otherwise.

I wonder if these staffers will apply for a federal bailout when they aren't getting their paychecks. And does anyone doubt that this corrupt administration would be more than willing to oblige them?

Just more performative hysteria by liberals happy to show up for work when their guy still had a future (White House aspirations?). He’s a tool but touching a woman’s back & asking if he can kiss her is grooming a woman for nothing! I thought that was what men today are supposed to do... ask!

And yet they were more than happy to work for him (and hide his abuse) as long as he was the golden boy. They "are increasingly worried their careers are in jeopardy." That's what it is all about, and only now are they admitting that " He’s the weakest, he’s the dumbest, and he’s the most shallow of them all."

Yeah, well the problem is NY is so corrupt, that Benito has a ton of s-it on so many other corrupt politicians, elected officials and movers and shakers, that I think he might be leveraging taking them down with his going down. He might be calling their bluff saying, "I ain't resigning. Yeah, let's have an investigation. Have at it guys and we will see who else's dirty laundry gets aired. Go ahead, make my day." When a state is really not a legitimate state, but a taxpayer funded criminal enterprise, things get dicey. I say, stay Andy. Fight as hard as you can. Drag everyone into court and let the chips fall where they may.
And pass the popcorn!

I think that many politicians have been successful with chicks. For example, Willie Brown got lucky with 29-year old law student Kamela Harris by getting her 2 jobs in California Commissions and voilà, HeelsUp will get to be a role model president for all American girls.
