What to do about Marjorie Taylor Greene?

Original Article

Along with Democrats, many Republicans are calling for newly elected Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s expulsion from Congress because of her controversial comments about school shootings and Jews starting forest fires with space lasers. (snip) I would ask Rep. Greene to meet with a Jewish Republican like Lee Zeldin and another Republican Greene knows and is comfortable with, for a respectful conversation about anti-Semitism and the absurdity of her other comments. If they come to an understanding, we should support her in issuing an apology

I remember when Bwaney Fwank was running a homosexual brothel out of his DC residence and th comment was it was up to Bwaney's constituents to determine whether he stay in congress or not. Now free speech is a reason to expel a member. I may not agree with her comments but I find them far less harmful and protected but the First Amendment than Fwank's brothel.

Have they gone totally nuts down there? Is it just too many Northerners fleeing because of mismanagement and high taxes going to Georgia and instituting the same?

Just changed my registration to No Party Affiliation after being a registered Republican for over 50 years. I gave a bunch to the party last year; that has ended. First off, are these stories about Rep Greene even true? A person can't be that stupid, but this is Congress we are dealing with so its possible. If we removed people from Congress for being stupid, it would be over half empty. The 'Space lasers causing fires' meme was on one of the 'Mystery/Unexplained Phenomenon' shows on cable TV yesterday. Is that where the story of Jews and space lasers originated? Gimme a break.

Is this like the lies that "Trump recommended injecting bleach" that the Enemedia put out? I happened to be watching that particular news conference live and the topic was that they had shown that bleach would kill the virus. And then they mentioned that UV light was good at destroying the virus. Then Trump said something like, "I wonder if they could somehow put it inside?", to me he was clearly referring to the UV light. I envisioned some sort of UV light source inserted into your lungs to kill the virus which is attacking the lungs. It seemed a bit far fetched, but with tiny UV LEDs and fiber optics, who knows? Kind of an interesting idea, probably not practical. He was just wondering out loud, and it was about the immediately previous statement, UV light NOT bleach. And these liar twisted it to claim "Trump recommended injecting bleach", which was totally a lie on several levels. He never recommended ANYTHING, he wondered about using UV light as a therapy. How much of what they say about Greene is a similar twisting her words to make them a lie?

So, I looked up this quote. First of all, she never said the phrase “Jewish Space Lasers”. She never used the word Jewish at all. That was a drive-by media inference and then (predictably) narrative. She talked about the possibility of focused energy beams—which, in fact do exist—being used to start some of the CA fires by energy companies in CA, which in fact have some connection to the Rothchilds, in order to manipulate legislation in CA. Crazy? I suppose. I don’t know, and given the state of government in the US, I don’t put anything past anybody. But, like all leftist narratives, it is a small nugget of possible truth drowned in hysterics and derision.

FTA: Asinine comments, wacky conspiracies, and baseless theories abound on both sides of the aisle. It’s just that the left and right deal with them differently. As soon as someone in the GOP missteps, Republicans jump ship -- as we saw when scores of Republicans abandoned Trump after the Capitol “riot.” We turn on our own… on a dime. Republican calls for resignations, ousters, and impeachments often precede Democrat demands for the same! The Dems, on the other hand, either ignore the condemned behavior or form an impervious, protective barrier shielding the accused from any consequences. We see this daily with the Squad whose offensive remarks about Jews and America go unchallenged by the party of tolerance. The Dems even go so far as to legitimize crank ideas by mainstreaming them — as we saw when the party marched in lockstep claiming Trump was a Russian agent, his Ukrainian call was impeachable, and his election scrutiny amounted to incitement to insurrection. We’ve seen Republicans (or so they said) “jump ship” right here at Lucianne...

I'm sure none of this was shared on the campaign trail, or in the Media prior to election. I'm fairly certain the phrases used to describe her were things such as "Conservative Outspoken Woman". Phrases such as that hit all the metrics, and get people elected. It is not until people are launched into the crucible of the National Stage that we really get to know who we voted for. Feeling buyer's regret? 2024 will be here soon enough to vote her out. Until then she was duly elected by Georgia voters.

Overlooking Green's sacred rights to free speech under the First Amendment, what she actually said (look it up, not the hair-on-fire media's inventions) pales by comparison to the conspiracy theories championed by the entire democrat party machine, including all of its leaders, such as the following proven hoaxes: 1. Trump instigated the Capitol riot on Jan 6th; 2. The National Guard was needed to protect the inauguration of Joe Biden from riotous Trump supporters; 3. BLM's infliction of billions of dollars in riotous destruction was 'peaceful; 4. Defunding police depts across America will make America safer and better; 5. Trump 'stole' the 2016 election, with help from Russia; 6. Biden fairly won the 2020 election, with no significant election fraud to assure his victory.

Conservatives are happily gloating over the fact that Andrew Cuomo is at, or rapidly approaching, his nadir. (snip) Cuomo's pandering has always been coarse, heavy-handed, and insincere. Though he is hardly a closet conservative, and probably genuinely supports these policies, it has always been obvious that Cuomo manipulated leftist identity groups so that they would have no alternative but to vote for him and make him governor-for-life. (Indeed, until only a few weeks ago, Cuomo seemed to be a shoo-in for a fourth term). Eventually, though, it became clear that the leftist identity-politics groups were getting tired of getting the pimp hand from Cuomo

Meghan Markle, it seems, isn't much of a scholar. While much of the focus has been on her barbs accusing the British royal family of abnormal interest in her baby's skin color and denying him a title and personal security protection supposedly because he is black and they are racists, what's striking to me is how unprepared she was for the royal role she sought when she married Prince Harry. Though the populist tide seems to have ebbed, it will rise again, and soon. The problem that ignited populist sentiment in the first place, whether on the left or the right, remains: the country’s economic and financial system has failed much of the population and is rigged to the benefit of a government-business elite. Resistance to this inequity elevated Trump and pulled the Democratic Party to the left and will continue to roil American politics until things change. The economy’s “rigging” has developed gradually over time and often from the best of intentions.
