President Donald Trump still has a strong base of support, but he’s leaving office with record low approval ratings and with some top Republicans either privately grumbling about him or publicly saying the party should move on from him.
And it’s perhaps no surprise that, per a new Wall Street Journal report, the outgoing president is considering forming a new political party called the “Patriot Party.”
The Journal reports:
President Trump has talked in recent days with associates about forming a new political party

51% in Rasmussen today... Leaving office in good shape and a lot of support. If the republicans go in the direction I think they're going - a patriot party sounds good to me; maybe also to about another 74 million Americans!

He really already has created the Patriot Party with an automatic
80+ million eager voters who want to follow his leadership. The republican party
will be the third party and fade away. I loved the GOP for 55 years but I'm gone.

The Republican Party can help form the Patriot Party if it participates in any way in any illegal/uncontitutional impeachment trial. Oh, until then, please send money...

From three media outlets MSN, WSJ, and Mediate about which many on this site would say, Fake News, like the poll today claiming Biden has 87% approval for his transition. Most oversampled democrats, infatuated with everything Trans, wouldn't know what a presidential transition involves. The reporting of a possible third party may very well be true but as of now, President Trump is a Republican. Tomorrow or down the road that may change.

In his farewell speech, Trump said that the party that supported him will grow and become stronger after he leaves office. He is our leader and we will build up an army of faithful believers and lovers of God, America, guns, and freedom and retake our country from liars treasonous socialists, and tyrants.

80 million US votes stolen ring a bell, #9? Republican Party complicity? Unfortunately or not, conservatives have been left with little to no choice. Bring it, Mr. President.

Do it. Trump should be our next President. No need to plough through the Republican primary ditches. Forget about that. Let the nonentities of the Republican establishment do that. We need another party to have a voice in the Congress, and a new party with a leader. That will be much more powerful. We are getting nothing from the Republican establishment leadership in the Congress.

If President Trump does this, I'll trample people on the way to re-register my party preference!! I literally never thought I'd say this about anyone this side of Heaven, but whereever he goes politically, I will follow. I simply cannot and will not lend my support to a party that no longer fights for my interests and beliefs. The GOP has stepped in it bigtime this election by not FULLY supporting President Trump in his fight against the outright theft of the election!!
BTW, since what the left did on November 3rd is NOT considered cheating in the eyes of the courts and the media, then they cant object to those of us on the right using their counting methods next time around!!

He should make the announcement at noon on Inauguration Day. Right when they start the festivities.
He could have Nigel Farage join him for the announcement. He’d have no news coverage, but let’s face it. He’ll be ignored by the MSM going forward so they don’t give him a platform to compete with Xiden anyway. It’ll still be the only thing people would talk about for days afterwards.

My crystal ball tells me if this takes off, we will hear screaming from the GOPe that if you vote for a 3rd party you are voting for the democrat. Seen it too many times for it to be a fluke. Then the repubs will start jumping ship and trying to join up with the patriots not because of any philosophy, but to keep their jobs and their bribes. er, donations. Then they will bring their corruption and cowardice to the patriots and it will all start over again.
