Twenty-three people died in Norway within days of receiving their first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, with 13 of those deaths — all nursing home patients — apparently related to the side effects of the shots, health officials said.
Common reactions to the vaccine, including fever and nausea, “may have contributed to a fatal outcome in some frail patients,” Sigurd Hortemo, chief physician at the Norwegian Medicines Agency, said in a Friday statement.
All 13 were nursing home patients and at least 80 years old. While officials aren’t expressing serious concern, they are adjusting their guidance on who should receive the vaccine.

No one ever gave me a vaccine with the warning that one of the side effects was death.
I'm almost 70. Overweight but no so much that I can't walk 4 miles a day when the sidewalks are clear of ice. Had covid about 6 weeks ago. Symptoms vary. No fever. Slight mess up in sense of taste (which lingers, btw). No headaches.. Very achy first day and a half and a slight cough with some congestion. Overall, not as bad as cases of the flu I've had. Lasted a bit longer than any of them. Never worried about getting well.
Not scary.
11 years ago, I fell and broke my ankle. 7 weeks after it was fixed, I had a pulmonary embolism. At the time 3 of 10 people who had that died. It is a 'cascade' of clots in the lungs. Got my wind back in 4 weeks but knew there was lung damage. 18 months later had the most monstrous flu of my life. I remember thinking 'I'll live thru this. But if I get this again in 5 years, I'm going to have to be hospitalized. If I get this in ten years, I wouldn't buy green bananas.' Well, no flu for the last 10 years. this was FAR less scary.

Merely being alive carries the risk of death. If you identify 10,000 elderly nursing home residents, you can expect about ten of them to die each day -- whether you vaccinate them or not.
'Course, it would be a waste of the vaccine for those ten.

It is total idiocy to give a vacine to an elderly population en masse. That is something that should be determined between a doctor that knows that patient, the patient, and the family. This was predictable from anyone with everyday common sense, which is very rare today.

I am going to take my chances with he virus too. I don't feel right about the vaccine. And I also fear they may have already developed nanotechnology that can be used for other nefarious purposes. That is there goal. My partner really cannot wait to get his shot because he has cancer. He is afraid of COVID more.

Well, what a nice way to get rid of those pesky, non-producing seniors, right? I’ll pass. That big pharma cannot be held legallt responsible is the only red flag I need.

There is risk in not taking it; there is risk in taking it.
Each person needs to do what makes them feel safe.
I will take my chances with the virus, rather than put anything in my blood stream that Bill Gates, Fauci, CDC and WHO is recommending.
(I am taking HCQ preventatively, and have not had a cold or flu this year.)

I am 78 and I still ride the Volunteer Ambulance, I had over 400 calls this year and some of them had what was suspected to be Covid. Normally i wouldn't take the shot but I am with the stuff pretty often and don't want to bring it home to my wife.

I have a number of friends who have gotten it in Fla. No issues beyond a one day sore shoulder in one friend, which is what I get with my annual flu vaccination each year.
Where is the second vaccine?

Definitely will not be getting the vaccine. Research the ingredients please. Elderly people in nursing homes are bound to have compromised immune systems, they are sitting ducks and probably don't have much say in what gets put in their bodies.

I don't have an appointment yet, but I'm getting it to help with herd immunity and to get rid of all these stupid closings.

What a shock. some sick old people died. Looks like fallacious reasoning to me. Post hoc, ergo propter hoc. How many would have died had they not received the vaccine? I wonder if this is the same reasoning as tht which attributes the death of someone shot in the head to COVID.
