The majority of cadets caught cheating on a math test at the West Point military academy are athletes — including two dozen members of the Army football team playing West Virginia in Thursday’s Liberty Bowl. Of the 24 Army Black Knights embroiled in the scandal, 17 remained in uniform as of Wednesday (Snip) West Point spokesman Lt. Col. Christopher Ophardt told USA Today that the decision was not related to the school’s football season.
“We didn’t cancel the punishment,” Ophardt said. “We delayed it until final adjudication.”
The Army football squad is 9-2 this season.

They have to be Democrats too because cheating is the new normal and totally acceptable no matter what. Presidential elections, sports, gambling, whatever. It’s all ok now.

Come on New York Post, Rupert cheats at everything....!
Did Rome contact Rupert with bad news and plan 'B' had to be instituted...Fox News calls AZ early, universally signaling to stop counting in battleground states on Nov. 3rd...?

Gee, I guess letting the athletes defer their military obligations until they had a chance at the NFL teet might have affected their "honor".

"the policy 'resulted in an inequitable application of consequences and developmental opportunities' for some cadets."
You don't suppose that "some cadets" refers to cadets from certain racial or ethnic backgrounds, do you? Affirmative action trumps longstanding policy.
If plagiarism and voter fraud are tolerated for the commander in chief, why not cheating on college calc exams?

If you can’t meet standards, lower them. It’s been our guiding principal in America for over 50 years now.

Everybody in Hollywood got away with it. Probably because the military has gotten away with it for so long.

It is a bit unsettling to think that our military colleges are accepting double-digit IQ folks from the portion of the population most represented by the participants in the sport of American football. These cadets are our future military tacticians and leaders. Our nations security depends on these graduates. But then there is the possibility that the military colleges know that these folk will not actually be in the military even if they manage to graduate so no harm, no foul.

A few months ago I saw an ad for a tutor-like position at West Point. "These are scholar-leader-athletes" I remember thinking, "why do they need tutors?" Now, it is clear. West Point, like so many institutions, has succumbed to racial quotas. These kids cannot keep up, but were admitted due to their race. I wonder which leaders of tomorrow were rejected by West Point to satisfy the Left's non-stop obsession with race?

“Barack knows that we are going to have to make sacrifices; we are going to have to change our conversation; we're going to have to change our traditions, our history; we're going to have to move into a different place as a nation."

Our “sacrifice” is to watch the country we love being taken from us using stealth by low-life criminal people who aren’t fit to have dominion over us at all.

Why not let them stay - a couple of years ago they graduated and commissioned an avowed communist. He was photographed displaying a Che t shirt under his uniform. The place has gone to hell, apparently, with lowered standards now the norm.

Believe it or not, drug gangs are also active at West Point. They are nominated by the corrupt to create distribution channels within the military. The rot runs very deep.

There must be more cheating at Annapolis because they have had the better football team for decades. Now Army is catching up. I won’t go into details.

This is evil at all levels. How could so many cadets even consider cheating? How could the rest allowed to remain in the Corps without being silenced? How could the coach allow cheaters to remain on the team? How could the administration permit the team to represent the institution?
This is a metaphor for much broader rot and corruption.
