Report: Democrats feeling gloomy over election

Original Article

The Washington Post reports that “Democrats see grim prospects in final election results despite Biden’s win.” The main reason for Democrats’ pessimism is Joe Biden’s poor performance in precincts the Democrats think they should carry easily. The Post’s Michael Scherer writes: Voters in the once Democratic Ohio county that surrounds the shuttered Lordstown General Motors plant delivered a decisive victory last month to the sitting president who had promised and failed to save their jobs. In the heavily Hispanic South Bronx, the liberal sanctum of San Francisco and the immigrant-rich neighborhoods of Miami, President Trump also shrank Democratic margins by drawing thousands more to his side

Unfortunately, the Dems have nothing to be gloomy about. It looks as though their coast to coast Voter Fraud is going to work, and hand the presidency to Biden. I hate it, but there is nothing I can do about it. We are now a lower quality country will questionable elections.

The suspect who authorities say was responsible for the Christmas Day bombing in Nashville reportedly told his neighbor in the days before the explosion that "Nashville and the world is never going to forget me." Rick Laude said he saw Anthony Quinn Warner standing at his mailbox on Dec. 21 and pulled over in his car to speak with him. After asking how Warner's elderly mother was doing, Laude said he casually asked him, "Is Santa going to bring you anything good for Christmas?" Laude said Warner smiled and then said, "Oh, yeah, Nashville and the world is never going to forget me."

All of the leads released by authorities since the Christmas Day bombing in Nashville had been pointing to Anthony Warner as the prime suspect and now the FBI has put the matter to rest. DNA testing has reportedly confirmed that Warner was in the truck and died in the blast. The case is far from closed, however, because agents are still beating the bushes to attempt to figure out a motive. The press is aiding in that effort and from what’s been determined thus far, we might be able to draw at least a few conclusions. As to Warner himself,

President Donald Trump on Sunday signed a massive government funding and pandemic aid package, despite earlier calling it a "disgrace" and demanding that lawmakers amend it. The outgoing president’s decision to sign the mega spending bill removes the threat of a partial government shutdown that would have started early Tuesday after a temporary spending law expired. With the president's signature, federal unemployment benefits that lapsed Dec. 26 while Trump was mulling his options can start to flow again. Jobless aid recipients will get an extra $300 per week on top of regular benefits for 11 weeks. A federal eviction moratorium for renters behind on their payments

According to NPR member station WPLN, Warner until recently owned a home in the suburban Nashville community of Antioch that was searched on Saturday by federal officials. That is the question posed by Adam Nagourney, a loyal Democratic Party foot soldier, in the New York Times: “A Stinging Setback in California Is a Warning for Democrats in 2022.” The Democrats’ losses came for a number of reasons, including forces particular to California and the complications of campaigning during a pandemic. But as much as anything, they reflected the potency of Republican attacks, some false or exaggerated, that Democrats were the party of socialism, defunding the police and abolishing private health insurance. This is rich. Nagourney doesn’t cite any Republican attacks

Information appears to be breaking quickly in the case of the Nashville bombing. As I wrote earlier, the police had identified a “person or persons of interest.” Now, CBS is reporting the name of that person as 63 year old Anthony Quinn Warner and police appear to be at a property related to him now. Police have not yet officially confirmed that name and it’s important to note that a person of interest is not necessarily the same thing as a suspect.
