The American Medical Association has been adamantly against hydroxychloroquine as a therapeutic for COVID for the past year. Just a few days before the presidential election they reversed course, reversing their opposition. Did they suddenly realize HCQ might have benefit in certain patient groups or were they lying for the past year? How many individuals died as a result of being denied potential lifesaving treatment?
The AMA is synonymous with organized medicine, despite myriad specialty societies that may better represent the needs of its member physicians. In fact, only 12 percent of practicing physicians belong to the AMA

Please share this article everywhere!!! The AMA is a disgrace . They joined Obama to push for Obamacare when they only represent 12% of physicians. Neil Cavuto should be fired. He who benefits from medication for his MS is a political hack scaring people not to take it without any medical knowledge. He can hardly handle stocks . He did it to damage Trump without any regard for the lives of people in the early stages of Covid who could have benefited from this drug.

Back in the 1950s, physicians I worked for in the USAF told me that when in civilian practice, they had to belong to the AMA, in order to have admitting privileges at hospitals.
Then at some point since then, the AMA lost its stranglehold on hospital privileges, and the membership is now down to a sleepy 12 per cent.
And I suspect that most of the tiny 12 are signedup by their corpoate health care masters.
There is still plenty of time to study the effectiveness of the drug in question, by reviewing patient records who were taking it for rheumatoid arthritis and related illnesses. Did those patients have lower rates of Kung Flu?
The research would be so simple, a college freshman could do it - but not Dr. Jill Biden. Her pitifully inadequate dissertation shows she doesn't have the chops to do numbers. Or words.

This virus was a political stunt. The democrats used it to enforce lockdowns, kill the economy, push mail in ballots, etc. The way they accomplished it, they had to create a high death rate. That is where the elderly came into play. They put the very ill with COVID back into the nursing facilities....like throwing a match on a bale of hay. Then people that dead of something else was classified COVID. Then the same Governors along was AMA did not allow the use of HCQ. This was a plan by the democrat party. No, I'm not wearing my tin hat. It really was. I said all along that someone was managing this kill and we all know now who it was.....OBAMA. Just like he managed the election steal.

FWIW, I suddenly lost my sense of taste and smell back in August, and then started coughing...so, I found a doctor who was willing to consider HCQ if needed in my treatment. I'm 64, over-weight by 30 lbs, and have moderate hypertension. I tested positive for CV19, so he prescribed HCQ (200 mg X 100, azithromycin, zinc, and vit D.
No other symptoms presented (no fever, no nausea, etc), my cough went away in 1 day, and my sense of taste and smell had returned in about 4 weeks.
I believe.

There are several factors that have made healthcare so expensive and the AMA is one of them. They lobby for regulations that force services to be rendered at well above the most cost efficient and effective level. We love to look upon the evil insurance industry with scorn but let the AMA skate. They have been screwing us over for decades. It should come as no surprise that they would put politics above your life and health. Do no harm my ass.
Here's a news flash, (well not so much for this small community) : Big business loves excessive regulation be they medical or any other industry. Regulations are barriers to competition and keep the big guys on top and push down on emerging competition. While they are moaning and groaning about them their lobbying agents are scurrying about in DC drafting more and contributing to the politicians who will side with them.
This is not capitalism but of course what gets blamed for the domination of bug business and out of reach prices? Yea.

It so infuriated me that the doctors refused to give HCQ to my 86 year old mother with covid. She survived, but so many have not. I honestly think they wanted a high death rate to use against Trump, politically. Now that they think Biden is in, bring out the HCQ and let's get back to "normal".
I also predict the number of cycles in covid testing will be drastically dropped from the current 37-40 (which gives lots of false positives) to well under 35 (which will likely show the population virtually covid-free and give Biden bragging rights).
I have zero faith now in the CDC, AMA and even my local doctor, who knuckled under to the peer pressure. I will take no vaccines that any of them recommend. Their lack of concern for my well being is abundantly clear.

I can not even tolerate the sound of Neil Cavuto's voice or sight of his face after I heard him say this. My recorder is set to record The FIve and gets about fifteen seconds of the end of Cavuto's show. I have to mute it and turn away until The Five come on. I am so hoping that Jessie or Gutfeld shove Cavuto's comment back at him sometime but I am sure they are told to make nice with everyone at Fox.

President Trump endorsed HCQ. Therefore HCQ was evil. Fauci stood to make $500/pop for his medication. So it was endorsed. Fauci funded the Chink lab which produced the Wuhan Flu. And the flu has been used to shut down Middle America. Fat Cats rejoice! It is good to be rich. And the AMA is rich. So they have classified as many dead as CO-19 as they could, including those with bullets in their brains, those who have fallen off ladders, any cause will do to be CO-19.
Hooray for the AMA.

So we can all see now that the fix was in from the AMA through the FDA to politicize this virus and help advance the leftist agenda (tank the economy, lock down the populace, and get Biden elected).
While there is no doubt that COVID-19 is a real thing, a quick observation: there are an estimated 28,000 homeless on the streets of LA, and no one would ever suggest that their health was great. So why aren't we seeing body bags stacked in the streets and overflowing the morgue? The only real scenes like that are in the nursing homes where Cuomo and Whitmer relegated the sick and infected.
Another tactic I despise is the more recent one where talking heads on the news state breathlessly that "it is a sobering statistic that more people have died in the US from COVID that from all the wars!" First off, more people died in the last year for which the CDV provided data (2018) from heart disease, cancer, and auto accidents (roughly 1.4 million) than died in all US wars (1.1 million) but I don't see lockdowns for those diseases. It's an apples and oranges comparison but it makes liberal hearts flutter with fear.

In my mind is the fact that HCQ has been around for years ,it's effects are known and it seemed to have worked.
It wasn't approved.
Yet they come up with this vaccine that no one knows about, it takes 2 shots and has to be kept at -80 degrees in order to be any good , they approved it in record time and are going to start passing it out

One has to wonder why so many want to be communist? Have they been bought, or compromised? No one in their right mind, who understands what communism is, would ever choose that for a system to live under. Unless, of course, they are bought, compromised, or maybe not in their right mind!

To add to #12 on Nexium, I have been fighting acid reflux for over two years and my GI prescribed double strength omeprazole twice a day - or 4 times the OTC dose. And he said that I could take it as long as I needed it. The only side effect he named was bone loss and it’s clearly stated in my records that I have some osteoporosis. (68 year old woman). It didn’t help much and my bone loss got worse, despite a prescription medication for that. I have given up on MDs because all they seem to want to do is shove drugs at you or cut you open. Plus, during appointments they spend more time typing on their computers than actually talking to you. I’m now trying a homeopathic practice to deal with my acid reflux and the doctor there is much more thorough and attentive. I just started there and will have to wait and see how it goes, but I’m hopeful.

HCQ has been around since 1955--a good year for drugs and cars. Its predecessor is chloroquine from the late 1940s, which was designed as a substitute for natural quinine as a malaria fighter. It's been used by billions and is available OTC in many countries, particularly in Africa, FWIW. Like any long time drug, off label use started then was approved, and millions with lupus and other diseases take it. Long term or extremely high dose use, as with any drug, does have consequences.
Most studies indicate that HCQ is most effective on early symptoms in conjunction with azithromycin and vitamin supplementation. It aids in recovery and mitigating the symptoms. It should never have been opposed by the AMA especially after critical care physicians published papers and recommendations FOR it. HCQ is also ridiculously cheap. But all the recommendations is that it has to be used early.
About the AMA--I was not aware that their membership was down to 12% of all MDs and DOs. My brother is a MD, board certified in psychiatry, DLFAP, in practice for decades. He only maintains his membership in the AMA for the insurance policies and I'm sure that is the reason for other doctors as well. In my work as a healthcare marketer, at the start of the pandemic for my company I had to rely on AMA coding information for telehealth for primary care practices we managed. Fortunately on my team we had a professional coder and she was able to suss out the errors they had.

I do not know which is more deadly, COVID-19 or Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS). By lying about hydroxychloroquine, many people died because they were denied the use of this therapeutic. They did everything possible to obstruct President Trump's efforts to combat COVID. Then they claimed their rabid partisan hatred for President Trump was "following the science."
They acted like they took the hypocritical oath instead of the hippocratic oath.

Hang in there, #20. I had a similar issue before I retired from my corporate job, but, it seemed to be more stress-related. I had to make some dietary changes. But, in retirement, the problem is gone. I'd like to think the improvement is due to much lower consumption of restaurant food. Hopefully, the same will be true for you. I agree strongly with the observation that when a medical doctor comes in to see us, they become computer keyboard jockeys for the 15 minutes spent with them.

When my own brother finally went to an Arizona hospital in July, no beds were available. Imagine the chaos. He was kept in the ER until a bed became available in intensive care. He died within a few hours of finally being placed there. I have no doubt that he and many other elderly patients put off seeking medical help earlier only because at that time, there was no government "approved" treatment.
Let's not forget that along with the AMA, there were politicians working overtime to warn physicians and pharmacists against giving patients access to Hydroxychloroquine. This inexpensive drug, now deemed a treatment, was withheld for months while pharmaceutical companies raced to create vaccines.
Here is one example of how politicians arranged to withhold Hydroxychkoroquine from patients. As with most dictatorial edicts, this one was disguised as necessary for the patients' own good.

Collectivism in any form is a gateway to corruption, groupthink, crabs-in-a-bucket, and the attempted exercise of false expert power.
A large group of doctors is not a medical board; it is a political entity. Therefore, all its decisions, pronouncements and attempts to sway opinion are political, not medical. QED.

It was with a tremendous sense of shock that I read the assertion that only TWELVE percent of the practicing physicians belong to the AMA. If this is actually true (I will check other sources), the population of the USA is being led around like a herd of goats to the slaughter. I have suffered through six serious surgeries in my life, one of them a triple bypass, had one serious heart attack, have coronary artery disease, Barretts Esophagus, type 2 diabetes and I am still alive and kicking; granted not kicking as hard or as long as years gone-by, but still KICKING. I have to give the medical professions a qualified endorsement. I give it cautiously and gratefully.
Hoping to survive this Covid-19 situation, even though it would seem that it has shown us we have much more to fear from our politicians than we have from our medical practitioners. And don't forget to wear your magic mask. I call it "magic" because the studies I have accessed on the internet and some (flawed, I am sure) tests of my own tell me that the masks for all practical purposes are pretty much USELESS.

#20, so very sorry to hear of your continual acid reflux...
Don’t get me started on the AMA as I watched my dear mum die from colon cancer...
When two different hospitals’ oncology department heads prescribed two different chemo treatments for the cancer I had, this told me they didn’t know what to prescribe.
Found an integrative MD from UCLA who treated me, beginning with good alkaline water, Essentia, and organic raw fruits and veggies, Vitamins D and C, nutrition supplements, definitive tests, plus walking our majestic beaches, and lots of prayer...
No more cancer for 15 years, and no more indigestion, acid reflux, or other issues. Our bodies will heal themselves if we let them... As her video from years ago said, we all have circulating tumor cells...
Love you, fellow LDotters, if your doctors’ answers don’t make sense, find an integrative MD. Now even here in Silicon Valley, we have an integrative pharmacy, Pharmaca [Monterey, Menlo Park, Los Gatos] all who understand our good health.

Look folks, the known evil, the out in the open evil that gets exposed and then gets to go on to more evil without a hint of judgment or justice then gets rewarded for its evil then gets to destroy the lives of those who exposed the evil is about to go into afterburner mode on January 20, 2021 and will go beyond the forces of acceleration and will not be stopped by two RINO's from Georgia and Mitch McConnell (assuming the two RINO's get elected in the first place which is pretty much impossible seeing as how Georgia is doing much more fraud and cheating for the two senate races).
Name ONE evil that has been stopped since 2015 when the plot to destroy Mike Flynn started. After Flynn, there was Carter Page's illegal FISA warrant which involved the FBI and the FISA courts. Then there was the state department that started the George Papadopoulos life destruction to make the phony Steele dossier magically credible, then there was the Russia investigation that cost 43 million dollars and two years, then there was the DOJ, State, White House staff, military who created a lie, out in the open to frame Trump for the crimes committed by Joe Biden. All of these are still successful and all of the criminals involved are still being rewarded for their crimes while the innocent lives are still destroyed.
ANY and every agency IS going to continue to do evil, every. single. one. and will only get worse. So, the AMA's and now the CDC's and the WHO's switch to make the evil look like they're curing COVID while continually destroying small business, supporting race riots, supporting jailing you and I in our own homes, ad infinitum is part of the landscape and will be from here on in. Of course HCQ is a cure for COVID. It's a scientific fact that all honest doctors understand. That it's now lauded by the CDC and AMA proves that they are the ones who deny science and deny medicine but that proof changes nothing. The evil will continue beyond anything you have ever seen in history and now it's global for the first time in history. The AMA is but a tiny piece of the evil pie, teeny-tiny.

AMA killed thousands. If you can get HCQ, it is the only prophylactic for the Chinese cold. Two 200 mg pills in on day every two weeks is what works for Malaria prevention. In addition to HCQ, I also use Zinc and vitamin D daily and so far so good.

Unfortunately, the premise of this article is false. The Georgia delegation proposed the resolution about hydroxchloroquine. But the 11/2020 published version of the session contains this statement:
*DISCLAIMER: Readers of this material are reminded that it refers only to items to be considered by the House. No action has been taken on anything herein contained and it is informational only. Only those items that have been acted upon by the House can be considered official.
Apparently the resolution by Georgia was then voted down by the rest of the AMA.
