Meghan Markle is sharing the "grief" and "pain" she felt after having a miscarriage this year. The 39-year-old duchess of Sussex went public in an op-ed for the New York Times published Wednesday about having a miscarriage in July while pregnant with her second child with her husband, Prince Harry. In the op-ed, titled "The Losses We Share," Markle said she had a miscarriage during an ordinary morning in July. Markle was with Archie, her now-18-month-old son with Harry, when she realized something was wrong.
"After changing his diaper, I felt a sharp cramp. I dropped to the floor with
My sympathies. It is heartbreaking for any mother and father.

Anybody else might have warranted some sympathy, literally anybody. Maybe it was Harry's white genes that caused the problem.

She lies! What about Harry's interview with gorilla woman about having only one welp?
Looks like MeAgain is not getting g enough attention and decided to whip out the victim card again.

I can't get over how many women claim to suffer after a miscarriage and still believe in abortion at any stage of a pregnancy. I don't buy it. She has not shown one sign of being upset over anything. She has been running around posing for photo ops and money. She has been running her mouth ever since she married Harry for his money and title. Just shut up and stay out of our lives.

No doubt this is crushing but who talks of their miscarriage in such flowery language?
Her words read like a really bad chick lit.

So she miscarried her second "child," but if she hadn't have wanted it and opted to murder it in the womb instead, it would have been a "fetus," not a child.
These people are willfully STUPID!

She changes Archie's diapers? Surely she has help for that, or has Harry do it. I seem to remember the same as a previous poster - that they would only have one to save the planet.
If it is true, it is very sad, but she has proven to be an attention hog and ever the victim, so pardon the skepticism.

I know this sounds hard, but I am skeptical about anything M. Markle says or does. She has said she and Harry were only going to have one child because population. She also indicated that you should let a child decide what sex they are. Everything she says or does is like a role she is playing. Writing that description is like she is writing a screenplay. Perhaps she is going to write an autobiography and this was a chapter. She is just so fake. She has earned skepticism because what she says and what she does do not agree. I'm sorry for anyone who has suffered a miscarriage, but she needs psychiatric help.

She's being ignored by the media lately so of course she had to scrounge up something to draw attention. She's a pathetic woman and I don't for a second believe she was ever pregnant. She is a pathological narcissist of the worst kind and from what I've read Harry isn't too far behind. Poor little Archie.

She has to be in the headlines. Why did she have to insert herself? She knows everybody dislikes her and wants sympathy. Go away screwball.

Just another difference between generations, I guess. ~ I was surprised at how vocal Chrissy Tiegen (sp.), John Legend's wife, has been since her miscarriage, and now Meghan. Millions of couples go through the unspeakable grief of miscarriage, but most of them mourn their loss privately and try to get on with their lives. When a celeb goes through this, I can understand a simple statement to the press, but to feel the whole world has to know all the details makes me suspicious of their real motive.

Any loss of life is tragic. My sympathies to the would-be parents. But I can't help but think the child was spared years of expensive therapy and mother-angst. Sorry.

I’m skeptical - I recall Harry saying this was it, only one. And they’re saying it now and it happened this summer while she was interviewing and posing with Gloria Steinam? I think she’s been ignored in the press. And if it is true, who’s fault is it no one believes her, being the attention grabber she is?

The wording of this story is a bit much.........very purple prose. High drama from a low life . The loss of a child is too painful to be used for self enrichment. or for a comedy riff.

Wow, #19. I did too. I was pregnant with twins and lost one at 2 months. The second one died of infection in utero at 4 months on Mother’s Day 1989. The infection almost killed me too.

Any pregnancy at age 35 or beyond is classified as a geriatric pregnancy. Geriatric pregnancies are at elevated risk.

I am sympathetic, however, I am tired of hearing from this outfit.
It seems every three days or so , there is some sort of coverage of them that puts them in a good light or as victims. Just a few recently, them honoring the war dead in LA because the royal family wouldn't lay a wreath for them in England, then complaints about how it was mean, then the story about how Diana's ring was inherited by Harry who out of the goodness of his heart gave it to his brother to give to Kate ( implying what a good guy he is), letting his cousin live in his house temporarily and then this miscarriage story. Just one thing after another!
What they need to do is completely shut up, no stories, no interviews no nothing for at least a year, in my opinion. I feel sorry for the rest of his family.

I wonder if a lefty would ever have an abortion and say it was a miscarriage, in order to exchange public opprobrium for sympathy. Could happen, I suppose. It would take someone of pretty low character.

I wish to register a complaint. No one issued a barf alert. I suppose it is to be assumed given the subject, but everyone here knows how tempting The Markle is, like a car accident. I was blind-sided and took a direct hit to the head.
