A Georgia county is rescanning ballots due to an issue related to reporting on the vote-counting conducted on Nov. 6, according to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger.
A monitor and investigators are on-site at State Farm Arena in Fulton County, Raffensperger wrote on Twitter on Nov. 7.

Joe Biden appears to have won the presidential election, following a ferocious fight by President Donald Trump that defied the polls and media expectations.
The president’s supporters are understandably agonized, as the current vote counts show that Trump missed by less than 1 percent of the vote in each of Pennsylvania, Arizona, Wisconsin, and Georgia. If he has won all four, Biden will have won 306 electoral votes, just as Trump did in 2016. In order to overturn that result, Trump would need to have actually won Pennsylvania plus two of the other three. In our own representative democracy, we just had an important election. Here are some observations on the state of our democracy. Spoiler alert: It’s better than in Athens, then or now.
All over the country, Trump’s lawyers are gathering evidence showing that Democrats deliberately interfered with the election outcome. These facts are needed, but one can make a good case that the most powerful evidence of all is mathematical data showing that this election outcome could not possibly have happened. One would think that the Democrats – who “believe in Science” – would be all over this stuff.

Suppose that you are an intrepid reporter — accent on the "intrepid." You witness voter fraud so vast that it reverses the outcome of a presidential election in a few states, enough to cause what should be the losing candidate to win. On Saturday, when rallies were scheduled to take place in key battleground areas to demand only legal votes were counted, the major networks announced Biden-Harris were the winners. Apparently, they are under the impression that they decide election results. They don’t. On December 14, electors chosen by state legislators cast their votes. No one else but the state legislators have that right. (Article II, Sec. 1,§2 of the Constitution). Certainly not the press, nor state boards of elections, secretaries of state, governors, or courts.
If they have reason to believe the elections in their states were unlawfully conducted and the results fraudulent, they can act to override them.
Many news organizations have now called the presidential election for Joe Biden, who has extended his leads in battleground states. This is a disappointment to many conservatives who had either loved President Trump or at least come to make their peace with him given his conservative policies.
But it is worth taking a moment to reflect on the fact that a Biden presidency is now likely to be much less bad than it could have been.

Georgia is going to a recount and the potential for court challenges is still brewing in Pennsylvania, Nevada and Arizona. I honestly don’t know if Donald Trump can pull one last, giant rabbit out of his hat here, but we’re obviously just going to have to be patient for a while longer while making sure that Republican officials are watching the process closely. While the legal challenges from President Trump persist, and they should, no matter who wins the White House will be dealing with a dramatically different United States House of Representatives and Senate.
Fortunately, there was no big blue wave. Ultimate control of U.S. Senate does not appear, at this writing, to have flipped. Two observers who were at the TCF Center in Detroit during the absentee ballot counting process have produced affidavits claiming they witnessed workers create new voter files with information obtained from ballots.
