A Little Civics Lesson On Saturday, when rallies were scheduled to take place in key battleground areas to demand only legal votes were counted, the major networks announced Biden-Harris were the winners. Apparently, they are under the impression that they decide election results. They don’t. On December 14, electors chosen by state legislators cast their votes. No one else but the state legislators have that right. (Article II, Sec. 1,§2 of the Constitution). Certainly not the press, nor state boards of elections, secretaries of state, governors, or courts. If they have reason to believe the elections in their states were unlawfully conducted and the results fraudulent, they can act to override them.

I hope to the Heavens that Clarice is correct in her optimism: I kinda lost faith for a minute when She mentioned the FBI was involved, there is NO way we can trust the FBI to do anything for the betterment of America. It has become a Soros aligned institution...America be damned! If I'm wrong? Why wasn't this corruption rooted out prior to the election, given the tonnes of evidence of corruption over the last 4 years?

What is a vote? A vote is a choice, made by a registered voter, at a specific time and place, of a representative. A ballot is NOT a vote. The ballot must be connected to a voter, only one ballot per voter, by a chain of custody. Sorry. Suitcases of ballots are NOT votes.

The high water mark of the Republic has been reached when citizens have to assemble to demand free and fair elections. Especially when the bogus press told us that there is nothing to see here but spent 3 years telling us the Russians fixed the last one.

I have no faith in Pennsylvania at all. Untruthful in one part, indicates untruth in all others until proof is otherwise obtained. Apparently, as one of our founding states, I had attributed way too much honor in Pennsylvania.

An article that should be everyone’s Must Read. Clarice is a lawyer. She knows whereof she speaks. She was even involved in a landmark United Mineworkers case (detailed in article). This needs to be highlighted as many must be wondering: What if There’s no Winner Declared by Inauguration Day? I’ve seen lots of assertions that in such a case Nancy Pelosi will be the interim president. Nope. Should that eventuality occur, the House votes for an interim president and the Senate for an interim vice president. (The House votes are by state -- one vote each -- and the Republicans hold a majority of 26 states. Our founders were geniuses. Never forget that.)

As pointed out, The Wisconsin, Michigan, Georgia, and Pennsylvania legislatures are majority Republican. Imagine the chaos if these state legislatures imposed a Trump slate of electors to elect him to a second term. Or, if the House of Representatives was given such an opportunity. Regardless of outcome, come January 20th, Washington DC should experience a YUGE national jam Pennsylvania Avenue Trump Train. There aren't enough tow trucks...

The 2020 presidential election is the stuff of banana republics as the ruling class loathes the boss and is trying to steal the election in broad daylight. (Snip) Will the new Democrat regime just “move on,” to borrow a phrase that Democrats used after Bill Clinton’s impeachment? Fat chance. This will only embolden the left to begin a “purge.” Google the word purge and the most hits are for the famous purge in the old Soviet Union under Stalin, as History.com describes, The leader of Communist Russia, Joseph Stalin, was paranoid of opposition. It was this paranoia that led to the Great Purge where millions of people were executed

On October 16, 2020, in a Parisian suburb, a Muslim refugee decapitated 47-year-old schoolteacher Samuel Paty. Previously, during a lesson devoted to freedom of expression, Paty had shown a Charlie Hebdo cartoon depicting Islam's founder, Mohammed, to his students. On October 17, at nine a.m., I posted Paty's photo on Facebook with a salute to his courage. Within minutes, I received notification from Facebook that my salute to Samuel Paty "goes against our Community Standards on hate speech." Note the capitalization of "Community Standards." This document, crafted by self-appointed Facebook thought police, is a new scripture, worthy of capital letters.

The Economist provided sympathetic coverage of a Chinese tech giant widely considered a national security risk without disclosing the publication's lucrative business relationship with the firm that spanned nearly a decade. Huawei Technologies commissioned the Economist‘s business consulting division to advance its policy agendas and deflect cybersecurity concerns raised by Western governments. The influential British magazine produced reports on a wide range of subjects—including a report on broadband access in the United Kingdom that Huawei credits to have influenced British policy. The publication has also run numerous Huawei advertisements, and its editors have cohosted several global forums with the company, helping the tech firm boost its public image

When, in 2008, then-candidate Barack Obama’s career as a community organizer was lampooned at the Republican National Convention, few understood what the words meant. Most sympathetic voices in the media stressed “community,” evoking images of soup kitchens, clinics, and shelters. Republicans had every reason to look more darkly at what this kind of work meant and, probably due to Obama’s race, were inclined to associate the candidate’s time “organizing” in Chicago with New York racial demagogues and shakedown-artists like Al Sharpton. That description was closer to the mark, but the full truth was deeper and considerably more sophisticated; left-wing organizing is a robust intellectual universe. Thanks largely to talk radio,

The wonderful cartoonist Michael Ramirez has Hunter Biden disguised as a deer with the caption “From Hunter to Hunted.” Hunter in costume says, “Here, Dad, Camouflage. I got this in China.” In his usual pithy style Ramirez evokes the scandal of Hunter’s using his dad’s position as vice-president to rake in substantial bribes for access for the Chinese. China was not alone in lining the Biden family’s pockets with millions of dollars. So did corrupt officials of Ukraine and more particularly the Ukrainian energy company Burisma. And the Hunter peculation continued with a tribal bond scheme that landed one of his partners in jail,

Is this the last time we can celebrate Columbus Day? A wave of cities have decided to remove the holiday from the calendar and replace it with “Indigenous Peoples’ Day.” Christopher Columbus, the Italian explorer credited with discovering America, and his legacy are under attack figuratively and, increasingly, literally. (Snip) It is unfortunate to see what was once a uniting figure—who represented American courage, optimism, and even immigrants—is suddenly in the crosshairs for destruction. We owe it to Columbus and ourselves to be more respectful of the man who made the existence of our country possible.

As media polls continue to mislead about the state of the presidential race, there are many reasons to believe the Democrats are crazed with fear that they will be trounced more soundly this time -- as they should be, given their nominees. Here are some indicators to me: The majority of voters think they are better off now than they were four years ago; the crowds at Trump rallies are enormous and Biden can barely pull a 10-person minyan; outside of university towns there are few Biden-Harris signs up, but American flags (a safe sign when Trump signs would be stolen) are seen waving on front lawns

Newt Gingrich was one of the guests on Wednesday's Tucker Carlson show. As always, everything Gingrich said was interesting. However, the most critical point he made concerned Carlson's question about what will happen to Trump-supporters if Democrats sweep the election this November. Gingrich contends that the Democrats have already demonstrated that they like power and intended to seize it permanently if they control the government in 2021. Fox has not posted the interview, and there's no assurance that the video at the bottom of this post will still be available tomorrow. However, here's the transcript for that question:
