And you thought the New York Times’s news division had problems.
The paper’s opinion section on Friday published a collection of essays titled, “What have we lost?”
Featuring all 15 New York Times opinion columnists, the collaboration asserts that its aim is to explain “what the past four years have cost America, and what’s at stake in this election.” However, rather than explore seriously and realistically the short- and long-term consequences of the Trump presidency, the project comes across more like a collective nervous breakdown, full of self-absorbed handwringing and wild-eyed proclamations about the future of the republic.
“Persuasion,” argues New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof.

What the NY Times lost was credibility.
Instead of objectively searching out the facts and reporting same, they presented, in a very biased way, those stories that agreed with their agenda, and censored any relevant information that did not support their dogma. Donald Trump exposed them, and as a result, they set aside any standards of true journalism in to destroy him.
If honest history were recorded, it would identify the New York Times and their associated mainstream media comrades as partners with the Marxists in an effort to transform a free country into another socialist failure.

By their fruits ye shall know them. The NYT knows there's no enthusiasm for Beijing Biden, and without that you can't beat an incumbent. Even Kamala chameleon is not to Biden what Sarah Palin was for John McVain. All in all the Dems made their worst choice scenario pushing Biden into the race.

I'm not used to seeing so many people wanting to have their taxes and crime go up, and having law and order and their investments go down. Strange. Their glasses are not only just half empty, they're totally empty.

The Pravda was more truthful (its name means the truth in Russian) during the Soviet era. But its readers (whatever are left)don't seem to think so. I recently told a rank Lib friend of mine that those who read and forward its material are intellectually bankrupt. He was genuinely shocked.

Michael Savage calls it a disease. I see it as a spiritual battle for the hearts and minds of Americans! It’s on all fronts; cultural, economic, political, and especially the Judeo/Christian faith!

The NYT is not alone in its pathetic bewilderment. Virtually all of the Main Stream Media (Fox News is getting there too) are engaged in a childish foot-stomping hissy fit because many people don't believe them or even read or view their product anymore. But I have no sympathy for them. With their bias and misinformation, they have divided the American people more than boatloads of foreign bots could have ever done. For that they are forever damned in my view.

"NYT opinion section"? A section? Hah, what a joke.
The whole damned thing, every bit of NYT, is opinion, every single article, every single word. All leftist propaganda. Never worth paying any attention to.

I am confused. I did not know that NY Times had a "news' division any more. The whole paper seems to be opinion. The 'opinion' division seemed to be the domain of the most rabid propagandists with full-blown Trump Derangement Syndrome.

I agree with their statement that, "... that the 2016 election plunged America into unprecedented ugliness." All of that ugliness came from liberals and the media (not meaning to be so redundant).

Obviously the NYT didn't pay any attention to the public reception when the National Review tried this same trick in 2016. Too bad they didn't have Rich Lowry on speed dial. It could have saved them some heartburn.

One of my secondary benefits in voting for Trump and the entire red ticket below him --- if my vote was any redder it would have been bleeding --- is that a Trump victory will make liberal heads explode! The joy of seeing some pompous ass friends & relatives crying and gnashing their teeth will be sweet revenge for the past 4 years of hell we all had listening to them whine.
Oh --- and if you riot, you are going to be shocked at the responses this time. I'd hate to be a rioter in a Red city!

Just did a little shopping. Kleenex - KCC21400 Professional Facial Tissue for Business (21400), Flat Tissue Boxes, 36 Boxes / Case, 100 Tissues / Box. About $40 a case. Anyone want to go in with me to purchase a case for the NYT weeping essayists? Yeah. You're right. Let them use the TP in the rest rooms. It is already where they need it. The Slimes whines "Trump has killed us!". But is they look down they will see their own hands holding the knife in their chest. It wasn't murder. It was suicide.
These people are pathetic. I read them saying Trump is " hateful, patently fraudulent and flamboyantly dishonest" and I don't know who they think they are talking about. I'm not sure if they are so delusional they believe what they are saying or if they are so desperate because their agenda is collapsing that they will say anything. Trump is NOT hateful. He is NOT fraudulent. He is not dishonest. In fact the hallmark of his administration is "Promises made, promises kept.". This is almost unheard of for a politician.
Now, the fools at the Slimes may HATE the things that Trump has promised and delivered but Trump didn't do these things out of hate. In fact, MOST of what Trump is doing comes out of existing law that the Left has ignored or twisted out of context. On many things, Trump has said, "I will work with you to make new law." but the dems refuse to bargain in good faith. So, Trump enforces existing law, like he took an oath to do. He has said he hopes that the dems will see reason and help make things better but dems are intransigent.
If the Slimes weren't so destructive, it would be funny to see their angst mixed with their seriousness, panic, and mania. But they ARE destructive to America and her citizens. They ARE enemies of the people. Trump has simply pointed out the truth about them and they are coming undone because it is so apparent that he is right. They themselves keep proving it, each time more flamboyantly and foolishly than the last. Their persistent self mockery is amazing.

The entire section is massive projection. There was no history before 2016. There was no barrage about black lives. If a black was killed by police while not resisting arrest, I cannot find such. If Gates was not breaking into his house what was he doing? I guess Lincoln was never pictured as an ape. I guess LBJ, JFK, FDR, and other presidents, did not have mistresses. We did not abandon the Menshiviks. We did not imprison the Japanese. We did not break Indian treaties.
And so on. Several libraries could not list all the omissions.
They have never listened to Trump.
And they never will.
