Senate Judiciary Committee member Chris Coons (D., Del.) on Sunday said that Republicans’ push to confirm Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett ahead of the November 3 election “constitutes court packing” and called the judge’s views “not just extreme,” but “disqualifying.” 8 Coons’s comments came during an appearance on Chris Wallace’s “Fox News Sunday,” in which he defended Democrats’ calls to add additional seats to the Supreme Court in retaliation for the Senate going forward with Barrett’s confirmation hearings only weeks before the election. “I’m going to be laying out the ways

The ministry of truth has chosen a new talking point and all the Dems dutifully fall in line. Why do they feel the need to purposely conflate packing the courts (adding SCOTUS justices above 9) with filling vacancies? It’s amazing how willing they all are to jump right in line with misleading statements and outright lies.

Chris Coons is an old Biden aide, so what do you expect him to say? Biden has been in DC for over 47 years as a liberal Democrat and “UniParty” corrupt lawyer-politician. During those 47 years Biden has had a lot of aides and employees, who when their current political comments are reported by the liberal media, are not identified as former Biden aides.

When liberal Democrats like Coons falsely claim that by nominating Amy Barrett to the US Supreme Court is “packing the court” they are talking to their very low information voters who know nothing about the Supreme Court or how many Justices actually sit on the Supreme Court. When the Democrats do things like that, the liberal media up and runs with that bogus information, never clarifying or even pointing out the liberal Democrat false claim.

What the Democrats are doing here is called battlespace preparation. They understand quite well that court packing is the practice of adding seats to SCOTUS and then filling them with 'friends'. They also know that a whole lot of Americans don't understand that definition, so they're laying the groundwork now by claiming the Republicans are engaging in court packing. Then, when they regain power and engage in actual court packing they can use this as justification for their actions, ie. the Republicans did it when they were in power so we're justified in doing it too. Progressives/Democrats are utterly and completely dishonest and cynical and are morally bankrupt. I believe the Democrat Party is a magnet for sociopaths.

It will be my choice to vote the nominee out of committee," Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., said at the beginning of the meeting.
