House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Friday doubled down on her argument that Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden should not debate President Trump, claiming the Republican incumbent and his "henchmen" have no "fidelity" to facts or the truth. Asked during an interview on "Morning on CBS" whether she still believed the former vice president should skip the three scheduled debates, Pelosi said: "Oh, I do. Not that I don't think he'll be excellent. I just think that the president has no fidelity to fact or truth and, actually in his comments the last few days, no fidelity to the Constitution of the United States."

I just love how he's able to get under their skin. Just like his comment regarding the peaceful transition of power question he was asked. His reply didn't actually mention the peaceful transition, just how he's expecting it to be a very challenging election. He highlights how the Democrats spied on his campaign and transition in 2016. Hardly an example of peaceful transition when you're incoming administration is being spied on, calls being unmasked at an alarming rate by people who don't really have a reasonable justification to do so. Then, the continued resistance by the Democrats, and Obama holdovers, is also hardly a peaceful transition of power, since the whole premise for the resistance is to restrain his power as President. Remember, the Democrats have over 600 lawyers on retainer just in case they need to file X, Y and Z motions in this current election.

I'm thinking that old Joe Biden will come up positive for COVID at about the last moment before the debate, and that his excuse will be that while he was willing to debate, that President Trump and his crew became afraid and would not allow Biden to be anywhere near the President as long as he remains positive for COVID, with a challenge to Trump from the Biden camp that Biden, although positive with COVID shows no symptoms, is ready to debate Trump from a tightly controlled remote location with only Biden's political operatives (and hidden teleprompters) present.
