Ex-Clinton aide claims Trump's SCOTUS pick
would be 'fundamentally illegitimate' if confirmed

A leading Democratic activist and former adviser to Hillary Clinton argued on Friday that President Trump's replacement for Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg will inevitably be "illegitimate." "Any Supreme Court with a Trump justice confirmed to Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s seat at this point in the calendar would be fundamentally illegitimate, and Democrats must be prepared to act accordingly," Brian Fallon, who served as press secretary for the Clinton campaign, tweeted Friday. Fallon added early Saturday morning that Democrats should add seats to the nation's highest court if the "GOP rams Trump pick" through the Senate.

Brian Fallon says that any selection that Trump makes for the Supreme court would be 'fundamentally illegitimate'. What the hell does that mean? Does he want Trump to leave the spot open for a democrat president to pick one? After the actions of the likes of Schumer, Pelosi, Schiff and others during the last four years this hopefully will never happen. These left wingers are totally insane. other , ,

The Dims (Communists) can’t win in the arena of ideas, so everything is distorted beyond recognition. (As #2 pointed out, what does “fundamentally illegitimate” mean?!) So, they open their trusty playbook and start with the name calling and then proceed downward. Communism is a mental disease.

And so the narrative begins. Democrats are so vile. Using threatening language and actual threats of violence tells me that the democrats have nothing and they know it. That will not deter them from doing whatever they deem necessary to prevent the nominee from being confirmed. It is going to get ugly because that is the only strategy the democrat party uses. The streets will be filled with protestors and violence. The hearing room will be filled with hate filled democrats who will say anything to damage the nominee. Kavanaugh’s hearing will pale into comparison to this one, if you can even believe that. The left believes that their sacrificial sacrament of abortion is at stake and there is no other issue that they protect more than the murder and dismemberment of innocent babies. Get ready. Tighten your seatbelt, it is going to be a very bumpy ride, but with prayer and determination, we can succeed. This one seat can go a long way in returning law and order, justice and could put an end to judicial activism in this country. It is that important and worth going to the mats for. One thing for sure, the democrats will not be able to stop themselves from being vicious and rude. Republicans, get your armor on. There is a battle to fight!

Political rhetoric of the worst kind. I love people who make idle threats that they can't back up --- like a drunk in the bar who threatens to beat everyone up all at once. All talk and no power. Down deep I guarantee this jerk feels Clarence Thomas is "fundamentally illegitimate". No one really cares what this spoiled child has to say. Trump should push the RINOs in the Senate to hold the hearings so everyone can be reminded of what they are worth. Then he should run against them! Those who support the party will get re-elected. It also gives every Democrat senator running again for re-election a real problem if they have to get radical. The Republicans running to unseat them would win. Shaheen in New Hampshire, Smith in Minnesota, Peters in Michigan, etc. don't want to explain another crazy hearing. Bring it on!

Here we are in the midst of a once-in-a-half-century pandemic, with the economy flattened, millions of people unemployed, and unrest on the streets of our cities. And President-elect Joe Biden says that one of his highest priorities as president will be to reenter the Paris climate accord. President Trump kept his "put America first" promise and pulled the United States out of this Obama-era treaty. Biden wants us back in. Why? Paris is an unmitigated failure. You don't have to take my word for it. National Geographic, a supporter of climate change action, recently ran the numbers and admitted in its recent headline: "Most countries aren't hitting 2030 climate goals."

Teachers unions have been instrumental in keeping American schools online during the pandemic. But some have escalated their positions on reopening to include an array of social justice demands. A set of demands from teachers unions in July, which addressed how to safely reopen schools amid a pandemic, was criticized by The Wall Street Journal editorial board as “political extortion.” The board argued that unions were taking advantage of a health crisis to advance their own ideological agendas and to eliminate competition from charter schools.

President Trump granted a pardon to Michael Flynn, his former national-security adviser, today. Flynn had pled guilty to lying to FBI agents about conversations, during the 2016 transition, with the Russian ambassador about sanctions. Flynn’s pardon should bring to an end one gross violation of the Constitution’s separation of powers, even as it gives rise to groundless accusations of another. Although Flynn had pled guilty, the circumstances of the case had raised serious concerns about whether the government had proceeded properly. The FBI, for example, questioned Flynn even though it did not appear he had violated any law. In May, Attorney General William Barr ordered the case dropped.

Minnesota is one of a number of states that are living under what amounts to martial law. Our proto-fascist dictator Tim Walz, in his latest edict, purports to ban traditional Thanksgiving get-togethers: Saturday, Nov. 21 through Friday, Dec. 18, Executive Order 20-99 requires all Minnesotans to: * Limit social gatherings to one household. * Not gather outside of your household. * Postpone all celebrations, events, receptions, and parties, including any social gatherings for weddings and funerals. There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred.
