According to Rasmussen, President Trump’s job approval rating stands at 51 percent. That’s about where it’s been since late August, and it’s a rating that, one expects, would carry an incumbent president to re-election, especially against a relatively weak opponent like Joe Biden. It’s similar to Barack Obama’s approval rating just before he won in 2016. But what about other surveys? Fox News, in a survey that’s several days older than Rasmussen’s, finds that 48 approve of Trump’s performance, while 51 percent disapprove. The Hill, in a survey taken at around the same time as Fox’s, found that 47 approve and 53 percent disapprove.

Here's a suggestion for a poll, drive through any town in almost any state and compare the number of Trump signs against the number of Biden signs. Some states are hopelessly dim like California and Massachusetts, we know that, but this is the closest poll to the truth that you will find. Even with some people staying carefully antiseptic due to fear of property damage, the Trump signs will overwhelm.

It's not Trump I worry about. If we don't keep the Senate and win the House we will have four more years of Pelosi. Unless, of course, God should call her to accounting............

I live outside SF in a very liberal town. I have yet to see one Biden sign or bumper sticker. I will never see a republican sign because they will scratch your car and do things to you if you dared to do that.

As the Democrat presidential campaign degenerates into “Weekend at Gropey’s,” a question arises: Assuming the Dems and their media minions somehow drag that rickety, basement-dwelling weirdo across the finish line, how do they get rid of him post-inauguration? Clearly, he would be a figurehead as Dr. Demento – sorry, Dr. Jill – and Kamala Harris joust for control before a backdrop of scheming pinko puppetmasters. But sooner or later, probably sooner, the Dem elite is going to try to put him out to pasture. How could they pull it off? And can they? Let’s see…

Nobel Peace Prize nominee and President of the United States Donald J. Trump knows a thing or two about making deals. For starters, he wrote the definitive book on the subject. Some consider The Art of the Deal to be on par with the Bible in terms of its insight into the human condition. The China-caused global pandemic hasn't stopped Trump from forging historic deals. Normalized relations between Israel, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates? Achieved. Saudi Arabia and several other nations may soon follow. Trump "holds the key to the hearts of the people of Israel," Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said at the White House on Tuesday.

When George Floyd died while in police custody in late May, most agreed his premature death was a tragedy. Yet the discussion on criminal justice reform that emerged in the weeks after Floyd’s passing was quickly overshadowed by the rioting, looting, and violence that broke out in major cities such as Minneapolis, Seattle, and New York. Dozens of people were killed or injured in the violent unrest, and thousands of businesses and properties, many minority-owned, were looted, torched, or otherwise vandalized. Only now are we beginning to realize the full cost of the destruction. New reporting from Axios reveals that the total insured property losses incurred

The Washington Post reports that a “clear racial gap persists in District’s pot arrests.” In other words, D.C. police officers (a majority of whom are Black, by the way) are far more likely to arrest Blacks than Whites for marijuana-related offenses. According to the Post, Blacks account for almost 90 percent of those arrested on marijuana-related charges in D.C. and 84 percent of those arrested for public consumption of the substance. Yet, they make up slightly less than half of the city’s population, and studies claim that marijuana use is equally prevalent among Whites and Blacks. The Post notes that this racial gap persists even though marijuana arrests

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Bahrain have joined Egypt and Jordan in an elite cadre, making it now four Arab nations with leaders who have transcended the limitations of their cultural inculcation by recognizing the state of Israel. Like Jordan’s King Hussein and Anwar Sadat of Egypt before him, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Bahrain’s King Hamid bin Isa Al Khalifa have acted in defiance of those who tell them that such relations with Jews are forbidden (haram) on religious grounds. Yousef Al Otaiba, the UAE’s ambassador to the U.S., called the announcement “a win for diplomacy and for the region.”

The Democrat-media complex has a new mission: to distract our attention from President Trump’s incredible—and I mean incredible—progress on both economic and foreign policy. The Bureau of Labor Statistics recently announced another historic month of job growth as the economy added 1.4 million jobs in August. It was the fourth-best month of job growth on record dating back to 1939 (and likely ever), beaten out only by the preceding three months. As a result, the country’s unemployment rate dropped to 8.4 percent from its post-pandemic high of 14.7 percent. Recall that in April the Congressional Budget Office forecast a 16 percent unemployment rate for the third quarter.

“Any number of federal constitutional and statutory provisions reflect the proposition that, in this country, we determine guilt or innocence individually—rather than collectively, based on one’s identification with some demographic group,” wrote U.S. Appeals Court Judge Raymond Kethledge in a late June opinion. “That principle has not always been perfectly realized in our Nation’s history, but as judges it is one that we take an oath to enforce.” Kethledge’s words revived a lawsuit filed by an Oberlin College student who claimed that his school had unfairly found him guilty of sexual misconduct. Over a 100-day period this summer, four appeals courts, including the Sixth Circuit

The truth is that the Corvette's closest competitor from Porsche's lineup hasn't been the 911 for some time. The German brand made its rear-engine flagship just a bit too soft right as Chevrolet got downright serious about making big performance gains by relocating the Corvette's V-8. The mid-engine 718 series of two-seaters has taken the throne at Porsche as the de facto sports-car line

Progressive district attorneys are anti-police, pro-criminal, and overwhelmingly elected with George Soros’s money.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi defended how she has handled her relationship with President Trump — after it was pointed out that the two leaders haven’t spoken in almost a year amid mounting crises. Speaking to MSNBC’s Craig Melvin on Monday, Pelosi (D-Calif.) faced pushback after repeatedly saying “Forget him” while answering a question about countering the commander-in-chief’s rhetoric and narrative. Melvin noted to the nation’s highest elected Democrat that, “with all due respect, you just said, ‘Forget him.'” “Yeah, forget him,” she responded. The MSNBC host then asked if she and the president had “just stopped talking? Is that where we are?” “You haven’t talked to him about the wildfires,

Mayor London Breed's (D) office said on Monday that the Abundant Birth Project is the first of its kind in the country. The project's goal is to eventually provide a supplement for as long as two years post-pregnancy. “Providing guaranteed income support to mothers during pregnancy is an innovative and equitable approach that will ease some of the financial stress that all too often keeps women from being able to put their health first,” Breed said.

Pennsylvania’s highest court gave the Democratic Party a series of victories Thursday, including one allowing repairs to glitches and gray areas in the battleground state’s fledgling mail-in voting law and another that kicked the Green Party’s presidential candidate off the November ballot. The state Supreme Court, which has a 5-2 Democratic majority, granted the Democratic Party’s request to order a three-day extension of Pennsylvania’s Election Day deadline to count mailed-in ballots. And it ruled that the Green Party’s candidate for president did not strictly follow procedures for getting on the ballot in November and cannot appear on it.
